Welcome to Japan, Mr. Elf.
Episode 25: Reports from the Royal Castle
Alirai Country, Royal Castle - ….
The country of Alirai, with its vast desert area, has its location and its development is relaxed.
One of the factors inhibiting its development is religion. Because tribes with multiple religions are consolidated into one, and as a result religious forms with complex and harsh commandments can be made.
But right now, this country is about to make a big difference.
There were hundreds of people in our passage hall.
All have an atmosphere that is likely to be monogamous and bigamous, with noticeable variations in equipment and age. Perhaps they are those employed from the country.
There are many adventurers who move freely, but those who stand up in arms may also serve the country as it is. I'm sure there must be a lot of people on the same level as me.
"I knew you had a great face rash. If you're there, you're a famous wizard."
Marie, who said so, was wearing her usual dubby robe and had a slightly nervous look on her face.
We lined up right by the window because there was a pleasant breeze flowing from it. Originally, this country used groundwater well and has no problem missing geothermal heat. Thanks to this, it is easy to spend time with an outing if it is a royal castle or something.
Well, it's naturally harsh if you go outside the walls, so it would be a hard area to spend for an elf vulnerable to the heat.
"Yeah, the levels seem high, too. But at that age, it's going to be hard to explore the labyrinth."
The person with the white chin mustache will probably be a participant after building a base in the labyrinth. If you move forward with a twitch, you will be asked for such a back shield. They may expect more in-depth local knowledge than that.
Looking to the side, Marie, unlike Japan, has a perfectly dewy elf ear. White, beautiful hair in the back, bright white noodles dazzling.
Apparently there's also an openness to not having to hide it with a hat, and I've seen him sneer his ear a few times since earlier.
As she is thus stretching her spine, the girl has an age-appropriate, adult-like atmosphere.
Nevertheless, from all around us, we are quite small, and we have been blindly gazed at from earlier... Thank you very much.
Now, when a glued man appears on the stage, he finally brings information for a labyrinth attack.
We're not from this country, but we're allowed to be part of a team because we're the First Discovery.
- Well, the format alone, it won't give me much information.
I'm sorry Marie's getting excited about the atmosphere, but we're basically outsiders. You don't want to be deprived of the treasure of sleeping in the labyrinth by those outside.
"Uh, we haven't had any useful information from the advance team yet. I have been contacted that the labyrinth is vast, deep and dangerous. It's still being assessed, but the labyrinth difficulty is expected to exceed AA levels."
To that word, duh! and the hall gushed.
To everyone's delightful expression, the elf looks at the surrounding area in wonder.
"Hey, how come it's so difficult and everybody's happy? It's just dangerous, isn't it?
"Uh, when the labyrinth is large, we can expect an item (drop). From what I've seen, everyone's level is high, and now if it was a small labyrinth, I'd be disappointed."
In this world, a labyrinth can be considered a mountain of treasure.
Sometimes valuable treasures are piled up with mountains, which in some cases can also be revenues well beyond war. Therefore, depending on the reports from the advance team, it is possible that this country will develop around that labyrinth.
"Oh, that makes me a little thrilled to hear that. I knew it was awesome that we could participate. I have to report to the Sorcerer Guild later."
"Yeah, first you get an exploration permit. And let's pick up as much information as we can here."
Kokuri and Marie nodded.
When the man on the stage coughs and calms the place down, he slowly opens his mouth to stick.
"Now, the key demon stone... we've got those things. While appraisal is in progress, the site will be sealed off so that no one else can enter it at this time. Joy, the prosperity of the Alirai nation was promised!
In the words, the place is engulfed with further enthusiasm.
But as far as I'm concerned, you can't just enjoy the taste of such honey, etc. The giant demon that appeared in the Oasis is probably at least an estimated level of 200. If there were times to deal with that, would they be equally happy to fulfill it?
"Nevertheless, I have made a report about that demon, so it's up to them later... Thinking about it, it just looks like you're fishing with good bait."
"Alas, when you come to this world, your thoughts turn backwards. Though it doesn't change my sleepy face."
"Don't get me wrong. I am, basically, a backward character. There are as many good things as there are bad things."
The elf girl is convinced that she may indeed be, etc., when told so. Oh, you're more convinced about my character than the way the world is.
Although I don't put this in my mouth, the percentage of "bad things" is much larger. This castle is splendid and easy to spend because it is supported by numerous people. "Bad things" can be more of a life for those on the supporting side.
"I wonder if you know. There's a good and evil dualism in the religion of this country, but where do you think that labyrinth is located?
"Good and evil... how much good it will be for this country, right? It's good in that sense, and it could be flipped, something like that."
I knew you had a backwards personality, and the girl squirmed at me. Well, as far as I'm concerned, I have a role to play in keeping Marie safe.
Well, after that, there was nothing significant about the information in the labyrinth, and we continued to await a report from the advance team. This is the end of the day, so that we can prepare ourselves for nothing.
Still, I guess what keeps everyone from leaving the hall is wanting to exchange information with the surrounding area.
Well, as far as I'm concerned, I'm not willing to interact, except for the slightly meeher Marie. He will be drawn to the crowd in an attempt to greet the famous Wizard.
They wouldn't be treated to them if they were normal, but they were warmly welcomed by the discoverer of the underground labyrinth and allowed to have a conversation with a prominent old man with wrinkles.
Munchkin opened his mouth like he was sleeping, and that was a terribly hard voice to hear.
"- Hmm. Don't keep your face unusual. Just like the elves there, half stay in people's worlds. Oh, I don't mind if I hear it's Grandpa's shit."
They poke me in the core from then on, and I get cramped with answers.
This is why I don't like people looking at the mysterious world. Terribly sharp, and sharp. He interacted with the girl's rounded eyes and nodded silently at each other, "Let's hear it out".
The narrowed eyes are shaped like they're laughing, but they make you feel deeply intelligent.
"But I didn't expect to speak to the Adventurer Alliance yet. I was a little surprised."
"I guess that's all the magic stones appeal to you. I feel like I'm thinking about the risk of being brought out."
Either way, we may speak to the Union as a backup, but in those days we will have a system that the country can manage well.
Answering that, the old man snorts.
"Totally, I still don't know what the Demon Stone looks like. That one has caused disaster. I don't think it's such a good thing..."
To the disturbing words of the old man, me and Marie look at each other.
We saw the Demon Stone when that cat clan was in hand. I can't even touch it and the demons have taken it away, so I don't know the details.
Marie approached the old man only one step closer.
"I hear the Cats used to purify demon stones. Why couldn't people do that?
"That's a mystery, too. Little is left of the literature, even though it was only 200 years ago. Look, don't you feel like someone was trying to erase it from historical facts?
The old man stares at us, and we breathe a little.
The old man told me it wasn't just an underground labyrinth. Still, the magician must want to solve the mystery just like us.
"Hmm, sometimes in the labyrinth, we'll face each other. Maybe a week to get ready or something. Until then, don't worry about it."
"Oh, yes... but it's dangerous for both of us, so we don't think we're going to participate until we have a team in place."
Oh, my God, and the old man just peeled a little.
"It's really a waste. I didn't expect the first discoverer to enter the labyrinth on such an occasion. When I was younger... well, it would be tough for both of my kids. If you ever join the search, speak up."
"Okay, thank you then."
Pepper and we both bow our heads.
Then everyone followed the hall.
