Welcome to Japan, Mr. Elf.

Episode 132: The S-Class mission is abrupt.

As we drank tea in the garden, we were surprised by someone walking in from afar.

The old man with grey hair and deep wrinkles is called Aja the Mage, a key figure in the underground labyrinth attack.

What makes me wonder is, why did you come here and do you look pale somewhere? Moving her gaze to Marie sitting next to her, she still looked strange too.

Looking around loosely, the old man broke up with him.

"Hmm, the boulder is not the Black Rose Hall. I'm having an elegant time in the morning."

"It's an honor to keep you complimented. We enjoyed it with everyone as it finally blossomed this year"

Puselli, the lord of the hall, stands from his chair and, saying so, walks over to the old man. He thanked her with a graceful gesture like a lady and led her to an empty seat.

I might have planned to invite an old man from the beginning. I can't be surprised enough by her expression to think so.

But the old man, who looked at him with him, looked at Mariabel's face and gave him a strange look.

"Mmm, what's up, upset your pretty face?

Marie, with a blurry expression, apparently is still angry that she was interrupted in her trip to the South. Eve seems equally unhappy... but, yeah, I didn't say I was taking her, and I should have said no in the first place.

Titty, Aja and I blinked our eyes.

"Ha, you know what?! We're supposed to have a great trip, but if we get out of the way with a ban on leaving the country!

"It's not a laugh. Of course I was looking forward to the ocean, but I can't believe I can't leave the country..."

The old man sitting next to Marie slaps him on the shoulder saying he's sorry.

He looks just a little sorry and pinches the sweets on the table. And as I noticed something, I lifted my white eyebrows.

"Hmm, this ban on leaving the country is meant to wipe out the traitors - those who were part of Zarish. That will be done soon, but the problem is nasty..."

"Those guys? Who is it?

The girl looked up at the old man.

"Um, not the traitor lurking in the labyrinth. They're making a move to bring out the Demon Stone, and to stop it will lead to this action."

Yeah, and we looked at each other.

If you catch that renegade, you can go on a trip, but if they ask you if you want to go that far, you answer "nothing".

"Well, then let's go get him, Mr. Cuz!

Oh, this dark elf seemed different.

I ask you with a sticky touch on your shoulder, and your eyes shine when you think of the ocean... but you're not a beetle, so you won't get caught that easily.

But I wonder if it's too much of a challenge to go to the sea. Yes, I ask the old man, vomiting on the inside, with no choice.

"Uh, so the labyrinth offense will resume? We're on hold, aren't we?

"No, the blockade can't be lifted for a while. rather than a massive offensive like the one we had before."

... what?

Looking round at us, the old man opens his mouth.

And apparently, the real deal started here.

The attack on the ancient labyrinth is currently suspended.

I had heard this ostensibly because I needed time to appraise my treasure. If we increase the national treasury more than we need, there will also be negative economic consequences. But the old man shakes his head sideways.

"The trouble with that is just managing the treasure trove at best. That's not the problem, it's the third level of difficulty."

According to explanations from the old man, the next level of investigation is still being carried out.

However, due to the degree of difficulty, it was determined that the number of soldiers alone had reached an area that could not be overwhelmed. And there is also the presence of a rebel who is still lurking.

"I think the damage to the second layer was too great. The squad has been eaten and vice versa. Your squad will complete the attack."

"I mean, no matter how many soldiers you inflate, you won't be able to move the other way around?

It was Mariabelle, the elf, who opened her mouth.

She seems to have changed a little lately here. They are beginning to show intelligence in this kind of mass battle, in the placement of soldiers, and in the offensive.

Somehow it looks like I've grown up working with other teams, through Reid. Speaking of which, I seem to be playing games and stuff lately, but is that affecting you, too, for a moment?

Apparently it was a satisfactory answer for the old man as well, and he returned a gentle grin.

"Um, the labyrinth is vast and no longer possible to rule all areas. If you're dealing with all the demons that are born countless times, all the sacrifices increase."

"You can't do what you were doing on the first level anymore..."

Then the old man asks silently what to do.

I care, but yeah, I'll leave it to the roaring Mariabelle, and I'll think of something else. It means, "Why do you want to attack?" It's a simple question.

If the force of the country makes it impossible to attack, it would be common to leave it to an organization called Adventurers, if it were normal. Because if you take the time, you get treasure in exchange for rewards, and people get together again, which will have a good impact on the economy.

But I don't do it for some reason.

Then they narrow it down to situations where they want to monopolize their treasures so much, or they don't want to take long.

Now, what makes the ancient labyrinth decidedly different from the other labyrinths would be the high degree of difficulty in the digits. Of course, the treasures you get are valuable, and I've never seen anything else particularly demonic.

Yes, Demon Stone.

The question also arose as to what a demon stone would be.

But that's where my thoughts are interrupted. Because Mariabelle raised her hand like she was in class and gave an answer to an old man's question.

"Is it the minority elite that is required? It seems necessary to make a breakthrough in terms of more than just warlike developments."

Aja nods satisfactorily and looks around at everyone gathered at the table.

"Come on, that's why I'm here to give you a special mission."

When I take the card-shaped thing out of my nose, I put it in front of my master, Puselli, and me. It glows white like plastic, something I've never even seen before.

Puselli breathed and stared at the card.

"No way. This is a special assignment (mission) for class S difficulty......! Besides, I can't believe the royal seal is engraved!

The picture of the balance engraved on the surface, and the letters represent the God of mediation.

That is why the contract is absolutely guaranteed, and if it is broken, it will be punished according to the weight of the contract.

"The achievement condition is three layers of offensive completion. And if we wipe out all the traitors, we'll pay extra. Yeah, it's a different reward to be able to travel."

Though I thought it was some kind of joke, apparently Master Aja meant it.

He added explanations that he would spare no effort in backing up the offense, providing information or food, and I finally understood. And they don't mind asking other squads to join them if they have to.

The old man told me to consider it first, and Lady Aja left the mansion as it was.

Step out of the mansion and slowly walk down the paved road.

I was told to use the carriage but I politely declined that. I don't want to go anywhere, I just want to relax and walk and sort out my thoughts.

"Oh, it's just an S-class mission."

"I'm surprised. I can't believe Aja asked me to do this directly."

Marie, who was walking with him, so leaks the word of consent.

They seem to be staring rarely at the cards with the two of them holding the kitten. The cards glow faintly when you put them in the blue sky, and you can tell it's not just paper.

If you flip it back, the signature field is blank, and the contract seems to be a substitute for the name of the client and the client.

Musan and the girl bent their mouths to the letter to.

"I'm glad you're expecting me, but I'm worried if I should take it on. For some reason, my chest is gone."

"That's definitely troubling. They're going to have a meeting, too, but they're probably going to take it on."

They just reconstituted, they're still financially anxious. Though Zarish is absent, he is proud of his top team and will want to make a big success.

Looking to the side, Marie still remains a muddled face.

Still, if you reach out, you tangle your fingers, and you grip them with a grumpy face. I'm probably unconscious, but it's something I stroke with my thumb, so it tickles a little.

"So, did you know why you would no longer?

"Uh... well, why did you issue a restraining order for leaving the country so much that they were going to take out the Demon Stone? And you've narrowed down too many of them even when it comes to a few elites. Those two things are catching on forever."

Oh, was Marie thinking about that, too?

Earlier in his mouth, it sounded like he wouldn't have dropped the exit ban if he hadn't captured the rebels trying to sideline him. We still don't know who we are when it comes to that important demon stone.

Thinking, for example, Marie had a stiff face and had turned to her light purple clean eyes.

"Hey, speaking of which, didn't I get a demon stone before?

"Oh, I totally forgot! I was still asking Mui, the cat tribe, to train me."

Answering that, Marie looks grumpy again and swells her cheeks. Even the kitten in my arms has tight eyes... but, yeah, I thought you two forgot?

"Then let's go straight to the workshop. You might know something."

"Yeah, shall we? We still have time to respond."

I get pulled from the girl, her bright white hair, and a smile on my face.

It's called a straight stretch of road, it's called a bright blue sky, it's a sandy country but it's a sight to think of a Japanese summer somewhere. The day slowly headed straight up and started walking among the leaking trees with the elf girl.
