Chapter 236: Just Chilling With my Guardians In Aussie
Seems like the danger level of the League of Mortals will be reevaluated again after this revelation.
With this power, they could start transforming random people into Anomalies and then spread chaos and havoc anywhere they want in the world.
They could just drop in on any city and transform a small group of people who would then spread the Anomaly infection around if it wasn’t caught in time and an entire city could be wiped out just like that.
I think the only reason why they have not done so is because they still believe they are doing this for humanity and are only against the Mortal Gods in particular but not humans as a whole.
That’s at least a plus for us I guess...
Anyway... This is for the Bureau to handle now and it’s out of my hands.
We returned back to the villas through my teleportation and I told Siti and Diana about the new details that we learned.
Both of them gave me quite solemn looks as they took in the information, obviously aware of how serious the situation was.
I’m not sure if the Bureau would make this information public or not but I figured that these two should know about it at least so they can be prepared in case it happens in their own countries.
But for now... Since we already took out the terrorist cell here, this place should be safe now.
Which means we were definitely going around the city for a tour before we left this place.
We came all the way here so we might as well play around a bit, right? Especially after all the work we did this past few days with these terrorists...
The good thing was that I could just teleport back here whenever I want to in the future so even if we have to leave right now, we can come back here later if we want to.
Unfortunately, Siti and Diana wouldn’t be joining us as they left the country the very next day, though they did exchange contacts with me so I have their number on my phone now.
They did make me promise to visit them sometime in the future, which I agreed to do.

"My Lord..." Olivia whispered, leaning over to me. "What is that thing?"
I held her close to me, using Diana’s ability to make sure we didn’t fall into the ocean as I stood on top of the water, "It’s a whale, Olivia. I assume this is your first time seeing one?"
The whale burst out from the surface again before splashing down, throwing up a spray of seawater which I shifted away to keep us dry.
"It’s so big..."
I managed to keep myself from responding to that and just smiled at her, "Yes, Olivia. It’s very big."
"Can we... Fight it?"
"No, Olivia, you can’t fight it... Please don’t fight the whale..."
"Oh... Ok..."
She sounded so disappointed that I actually felt bad for her... So I brought her somewhere far away where we had a quick spar in the middle of nowhere and that brightened her up.

"Mmm... My Divine does have great tastes~" Ava giggled, swirling the glass of wine in her hands as she looked out over the rooftop, the night lights of the city reflecting off the glass.
I sipped at my own drink, ignoring the fact that Ava was rubbing her foot up and down the inside of my lower leg under the tablecloth of the rooftop bar I had brought her to.
"You’re the one that brought me here though," I reminded her, since the Alv basically picked me up and took me here after she wanted me to take her somewhere.
"Mmm... I meant having good taste in following me, my Divine."
Her foot moved higher up my leg, now stroking my knee affectionately.
I gave her a pointed look, "You know... You don’t need to wine and dine me, right? In fact, shouldn’t it be the other way around?"
"Ara, ara? But you are worth wining and dining, my Divine~ Ufufufu~"
I rolled my eyes at her but didn’t protest.
All I will say is that I pounded her extra hard that night.

"Mas... Ahem... Qing! Qing!! Look, what’s that?" Kris cried out, hopping up and down like a kid.
I turned in the direction of where he was pointing and chuckled, "Ahaha, that’s a lion, Kris."
"Ooohhh~ It has a lot of hair! Why does that one not have hair, Qing?"
"That’s a female lion, or a lioness."
"So cool~" Kris giggled, spinning around to face me and fixing his skirt when it rose up from the spin.
I still got to see the top of the stockings he was wearing and the garter belt that was pulled tight against it.
Honestly... If you didn’t know he was a guy, you would be mistaking him for a girl right now... And I had to keep reminding myself of that as he wrapped his arm around mine while walking along inside the zoo.
It was... Not good for my state of being I’ll tell you that...

Jia Lian seemed quite nervous as we attracted looks from the locals, which I’m not surprised about since we’re two Chinese walking amongst a caucasian majority flea market right now.
But I’m pretty sure she’s more worried because she thought our disguise was not good enough and we were exposed as the Mortal God and the Guardian that was walking around this flea market.
"Jia Lian... Relax... We’re just a couple out on a stroll through a flea market. Nothing more."
I was hoping that would calm her down but she stiffened up even more and turned her head slowly to me.
"C... Co... Co... Cou... Coup... Couple?"
I looked down at our hands where our fingers were currently intertwined, something that happened because we had to hold on to each other to avoid being separated by the crowd.
She shifted her gaze down as well, her breath hitching when she saw our hands as though she only just noticed that it was connected.
Her face then blushed red all the way up to her ears before she turned and pulled me through the crowd, our hands still connected.
She’s cute when she’s embarrassed.

I hugged Leena tightly as the wind blew past my face, watching the hills roll past us as she ran through the meadows on the outskirts of the city in some national park that I forgot the name of.
We initially kept to the trails but we got tired of the other visitors goggling at us so she just jumped over a fence and started galloping through the grasslands instead.
Technically, her lower half is a ’wild’ animal so it should be fine, right?
Also... I find it hard to reprimand her since I could tell she was really enjoying the run even with me on her back so all I could do was to cling to her and enjoy the wind as she ran.
This is nice too.

I looked at the pair of guys that I didn’t expect to end up inviting me out together.
"Eh, I tell you ah... The girls are definitely planning something, no joke."
"Really? You think they are planning perevorot, eh? Da, very suspicious, tovarishch."
"Ha? What you talking, bro? What perevorot? What that last word also? You scolding me ah?"
"A coup, my friend. And I was calling you a comrade, comrade."
The two of them grinned and clinked their glasses of alcohol together while I sat across from them, wondering just how the hell did I get dragged out to drink alcohol at some random seedy bar in the middle of the night by these two...
How the heck did you two even became so friendly with each other too?

Liliac looked up at me from where she sat on the park bench across from me.
I looked up at her.
She gave a cute squeak and looked down at the plant she was holding.
I looked back down at my phone in my lap.
She looked up at me again.
I looked at her.
She squeaked again and looked back down once again, trying to act like she was busy caressing the plant in her hands instead.
I looked back down again.
This is more fun than I will admit...

Valletta sniffed at me hungrily as she held me close to her, the vampire having pulled me into a supply closet inside the villa for some reason.
"My Master... My Master..." She moaned lewdly, still sniffing my neck like she was preparing to bite it.
She even gave my neck a lick and I was very sure she was going to bite me and start sucking my blood but she didn’t.
In fact, the only thing she really did was just to rub herself against me while sniffing me the entire time and making lewd moaning sounds each time she did so.
I think this woman might be even lewder than Ava...
