Chapter 237: We Are Fully Staffed Now
We could have just teleported back home but we had to make a statement of course, which was why we still ended up taking the plane back to Singapore.
The good thing was that this time, it was a chartered flight so we were the only ones on board the plane and they even got the plane with the suites on the upper deck again.
I felt it was kind of a waste to get such a big plane for so few people but... I guess they really wanted to make a big statement.
I’m guessing news that I became quite close to Siti and Diana already made its way back to the country and they really wanted to make sure that I stay with them instead of being seduced away or something.
I don’t think they need to worry about that at the very least.
On another note, I tried to keep quiet but... Ava practically announced what we were doing by pushing me down on the bed and slamming her hips on top of me, filling the cabin with the rhythmic sounds of our hips slapping against each other’s.
That brought Olivia, Leena and Jia Lian along who then joined in as well which made it practically impossible to hide what we were doing in my cabin.
When I left the suite with the four women panting and exhausted on the bed, I found Valletta waiting outside with a wide smile on her face.
She then pulled me into the lavatory where she proceeded to push me up against the wall and started sniffing me and literally drooling over me as she did so.
When I tried to say something, she suddenly grabbed my chin and tilted my head up to press her lips against mine, kissing me with her eyes closed.
Her tongue then pushed its way into my mouth and she tasted me deeply before finally letting go.
I was just standing there staring up at her as she made that classic yandere face with her hands clutching the sides of her face with the half lidded eyes.
The only difference was that she made it quite lewd with how her mouth was partially opened and there was a line of drool rolling down the side of her mouth.
Her moaning sounds definitely did not help either...
I’m surprised that she didn’t actually go any further than that and we didn’t even fuck.
Anyway, I’m pretty sure that the crew on the plane already knows I’m banging my Guardians at this point... And any of my other Guardians who weren’t aware of the relationship status of their coworkers would definitely be aware of it now.
Then again... The only people left are just Kris, Sergei, Dan and Liliac... And Dan already knows about it before this while I think Kris was also at least aware of it as well.
Maylene also knows about it since... Well... She saw me with Olivia and Ava as well so... Oh gods... I think I look like a playboy, don’t I?
At the very least... I can say that I wasn’t the one who initiated any of this.
We got off the plane and we were sent off by the crew with smiles on their faces, all of them showing no signs of acknowledging what I did with my Guardians on the plane.
We were once again met with a rather grand reception when we stepped out as we were escorted by several official looking people and agents while the public waved at us when we passed through.
I also did my civic duty and waved back as well, though Olivia was still holding me back from interacting with the people directly as a Mortal God.
Funny how the staff at the hotels I’ve stayed at have reached closer proximity with me than our own citizens at this point.
We had to go all the way out to the arrival hall where I had to accept a short interview with some media people where I just gave the standard politically correct answers about the event and telling them how important it was for the region to be unified.
And before anyone asks... Yes, I had a script given to me ahead of time and while I did not need to follow it, I found no problems with just saying whatever was already on the script so I just went with it.
With all that done, we were finally released from our public duties and pretended to head out of the airport but in reality, we just went to a secluded corner of the airport and I teleported all of us back to the island.
I stepped out right in front of the tower and found that the entire place had undergone quite a lot of changes in the short time we had been gone.
The area outside the tower had been expanded to include a rather large driveway where there was even a road leading down into an underground carpark.
I suppose even though we live on a small island here, it’s still quite big and rather inconvenient to just walk around to get from place to place here. Coupled with the fact that we were still in the middle of expanding our facilities, there’s going to be a lot of stuff that needed to be moved around so vehicles would definitely help a lot.
The tower itself still looked the same outside but I could sense more life coming from within the building.
Not only that, when I turned to look behind at the rest of the island, it seems like various projects were already well underway.
I could even see a few more towers which I had no idea what their purpose were in the midst of being raised in the distance as well.
Still, I trust the Bunarfs on their work so I won’t question it.
I turned back to look at the tower right as a figure blurred through the doors to jump in front of me.
"Qi... Mortal God!! You’ve come back!!" Maylene squealed excitedly, the bunny girl hopping up and down in front of me.
I nodded, "Yes. It’s been a while hasn’t it? I see you girls have been quite busy."
She bobbed her head quickly, "That’s right, that’s right! I’m happy to report that we are now operating at a hundred percent efficiency!!"
As though to show that, what looked like some kind of drone flew past us to head towards the upper floors of the tower while carrying something below it.
Then, from the underground garage of the tower, a large mech looking robot came rolling out on threads with what looked like an elf girl operating it on its back, the mech carrying piles of building materials in its robotic arms.
The elf gaped when she saw me and quickly bowed her head as the mech rolled past us while we watched.
That was also when I realised that the towers I had seen in the distance earlier also had a swarm of drones hovering above them which were no doubt helping out with its construction.
The elf also told me that they had already staffed the support team and we probably could expect to see more people around the island now.
I nodded at the rest of my Guardians who had stepped through my teleportation door after me, dismissing them and allowing them to head to their own rooms to drop their own stuff while I walked with Maylene into the tower.
"So... Updates?" I asked.
She bounced around excitedly as she followed beside me, "There’s a lot of things, Mortal God! We’ve already completed the living quarters underground that would primarily serve for beings that prefer living underground as well as a complex above ground for everyone else so everyone has a space of their own right now! We’ve also gone ahead with the district plans you’ve approved last time and we’re already working on raising most of the buildings in the area! We’ll have dedicated industrial complexes up within the week and we’re also prepared for the time where the rift we are mining to eventually be closed so we can continue work while receiving materials from outside the island!"
Yeah, she’s definitely in her element right now as she pretty much said all of that without even needing to pause to take a breath.
"What about the new staff?" I asked.
"They’re great! I made sure that all of them know what they are signing up for and all the people we’ve brought here are infinitely grateful for the opportunity! Most of them are other worlders but we do have some humans in the mix who have no problems living here permanently, or have talents and powers that are too big of an asset to let go! There’s one right around the corner here!"
She tugged my hand to lead me around the corner to where I could see the lobby of the tower where everyone who is entering the tower would require to pass through.
That’s where I spotted a girl... Who looked like the girl beside her... And the girl behind her... And the girl behind the counter... And the girl standing by the security gates... And the girl standing by the door... All of them being clones of each other...
What the hell are you doing here, sister?!!
