"Are you sure about this, my Lord?" Olivia asked.

I nodded, "I managed to see his memories when I asked him about the bomb and the image of that water pump showed up. His subconscious memory must have pulled up that image when I mentioned the bomb so that must be the place."

The others don’t really look too convinced but I had a better lead than anyone else right now so they were just following along for now.

And by the others, I mean my Guardians since the rest were also trying to search for it in their own way just in case I was mistaken.

Diana and Siti had also surprisingly joined in the search though they did mention they would only help for fifteen minutes as well before leaving if the bomb had not been dealt with.

I had no problems with that, of course, since I was actually not expecting them to help to begin with.

Not because I thought their personalities would deter them from helping but more because their Guardians would be more adamant about not helping.

Surprisingly, none of them voiced any objections though it might just be because I was there and they could read the room. They might have started trying to deter their Mortal Goddesses from helping out the moment I left the area though.

Either way, I was still heading to the water pump room to check if the bomb was there like I believed it was.

We got the directions to the supposed water pump room from one of the hotel staff and we were currently heading straight for the place, which involved us getting into a service elevator that brought us down a few floors below the ground floor.

Following a maintenance tunnel, we eventually reached a part of the hotel which made me fully believe we were exactly where we were supposed to be.

The reason being the fact that we found two dead security guards laying on the ground right in front of the water pump room.

Both of them seemed to have drawn their guns as well but they were most likely gunned down before they could even point their weapons in the direction of those terrorists when they appeared.

I nodded back at my Guardians, indicating we should carry them back upstairs later so that their bodies could at least be put to rest after having fallen in the line of their duty.

I went up to the door and paused when I reached for the handle.

The scenes where the villain booby traps the door to rig them to explode in movies suddenly flashed through my mind.

I felt it was a little stupid for them to do that but I decided it was better to be safe than sorry.

I turned towards Valletta, "Could you check if there’s any mechanism behind the door? Something like a trap that will go off if the door is opened?"

The vampiress gave me a disconcerting smile before walking up beside me to place her hand on the door.

"Hmm... As far as I can tell, there doesn’t seem to be anything metallic attached to the door at the very least. But that only means that there’s nothing metallic."

Which means it could also be a rope or something attached to the door that would trigger it.

"How much time do we have left?" I asked Olivia.

"Ten minutes, my Lord."

Screw it...

I materialised my gauntlet in front of me and projected a shield with it before using another floating hand to twist the handle and push it open.

As I suspected, there was a distinct click coming from behind the door which was then followed by something akin to a button being pressed.

I materialised more gauntlets to surround my Guardians and myself, bracing with the expectation that there was going to be an explosion but... Nothing happened.

I pushed the door the rest of the way in and...

There it was...

Sitting in the centre of the room right in front of the giant pipes and the water pump machine... It was a large pallet that looked like green coloured bricks stacked on top of each other with a small tablet screen at the top that was counting down a timer.

Except...

Eight seconds... Seven seconds... Six seconds...

I rushed through the door, doing the first thing that I could think of and summoning my teleportation door behind it.

I leapt towards it, shoving the palette of explosives through the door as I watched the number change to a four on the screen.

The smell of the sea hit my nose but I was in no position to think about anything else as my eyes were locked on the portal in front of me, the same portal that Diana and Siti had brought me to recently.

The number had counted down to three and I shoved it through the portal before jumping through after it. I then grabbed onto the palette with my floating arm before throwing it into the air as the number changed to a two.

I watched as the large crate sailed through the air and away from the campsite on this side of the right, the entire thing flipping through the air which would have made a rather hilarious side if I wasn’t so focused right now.

Another second passed before there was a bright flash of light and the palette exploded in the air, the shockwave of the explosion spreading out and reaching even me despite having flown rather far up into the air.

I shielded myself with a floating gauntlet, letting it take the brunt of the shockwave blast before lowering it to inspect the surroundings.

That explosion was pretty big... Big enough to have caused a portion of the ground to crater despite the fact that the explosion had happened quite high up in the air.

This is just my guess but I’m pretty sure if this bomb had gone off in that building, the entire structure would have fallen down and the interior might also have been flooded because of the water pump rupturing.

If we hadn’t known about the bomb, all of us including Diana and Siti’s group would be at the top floor of the building as it collapsed.

I honestly believe that I could most likely survive a collapse like that thanks to my abilities but... I would think that a few of my Guardians would probably be either really hurt or... They might lose their lives.

And if Diana and Siti were not able to react fast enough to the collapse, I think the both of them might also perish as well since I don’t think they have some passive skill that protects them like I do.

Once again, thanks, Dan.

I looked around the base camp to make sure that everything was fine and that the Gatekeeper was still alive before I stepped through the portal again and reappeared in the park.

The teleportation door I had summoned had already disappeared since I wasn’t maintaining it to remain materialised.

I waved my hand and summoned another one before stepping through, appearing back in the water pump room again.

Almost instantly, I got pulled into a hug where my face was shoved into a pair... No wait... Two pairs of bosoms that squeezed on each side of my face.

"My Lord?!!! Are you hurt?!!"

"My Divine!! How could you do something so reckless?!"

I mumbled into their boobs but they didn’t seem to care as they continued fussing over me while suffocating me with their boobs.

I had to push against those two monstrous chests to free myself and gulped in a lungful of air before I passed out from being suffocated.

"Ahem... I’m alright... Did anything else happen?" I asked.

Olivia shook her head at me though she was still fussing over me and checking over me like a concerned mother hen.

"Nothing else, my Lord... We saw you rushing in and pushing what appeared to be the bomb through the door. I saw that the seconds were counting down and... I feared the worst..."

Everyone was still staring at me with worry which honestly made me feel a little fluffy inside.

Kris looked up at me from the side, "Where did you put the bomb, Master?"

"Ah, remember the rift we went to the day before? I took it in there and threw it as far as I could before it exploded. So don’t need to worry, I did not set it off somewhere that might affect anyone else."

Ava gave me a serious look, "Are you sure you’re not hurt, my Divine?"

I nodded, "I’m fine. The most that happened to me was getting buffeted by the shockwave of the explosion. I had time to throw it far away from me before it went off."

My Guardians all seemed to let out a sigh of relief.

Anyway... I suppose we should go back and let everyone know that we disposed of the threat already.
