What Do You Mean There Are Other Transmigrators In My Harem Fantasy?

Chapter 1484: No Cowards In Sword Class Here

I’m going to assume that we can take and lose these points from and to our fellow classmates in this class since my extra hundred and fifty points were definitely taken from the last three guys.

Was that why they did what they did?

I’m guessing those three were actually former students who probably failed out of the senior classes and came back to rejoin the first years.

They then thought I was an easy mark and tried to get some extra points out of me or something, only to have the tables turned on them instead.

Too bad for them, I guess.

After that introduction to the class and the dynamics of said class, Instructor Piertra led us out to the training arena and had us gather in a large group.

The instructor clapped her hands together merrily, "Alright! We’re here now! First lesson of the day! Find a partner and fight each other! Winners get their points increased! Losers get their points decreased! Once a duel has concluded, find another partner and continue! The fight will continue until I say stop! Yay!"

A hand from one of the students raised into the air, prompting the instructor to nod at the student with a disarming smile.

"Oh~ A question? What is it?"

"We fight... With our swords?"

"That’s right! Oh! Don’t worry! There’s an enchantment in place that will prevent you from dying while inside this training ground!"

Someone else raised their hand, "Umm... What if we don’t fight?"

"Then I don’t even know why you’re in this class! You’re free to expel yourselves if you don’t want to fight!"

Another hand raised up, "Can we... Choose to reject a fight?"

"You can! But that will be counted as an immediate loss! So it’s up to you!"

"Umm... How many points do you lose for a loss?" Another student asked, looking worried.

"Oh, not much~ Just fifty points!" The Instructor answered, the number reflecting the exact same amount that was deducted from the three guys who tried to fight me.

Hmm... That means you would have to lose forty consecutive duels before your points would reach zero.

Someone else raised their hand, "Umm... What will happen if your points reaches zero?"

The instructor turned to look at the student who asked that question, her smile turning a little frigid as her eyes narrowed slightly.

"Oh? It seems like we have someone who is bad at paying attention... Did I not already mention that would result in you being dropped out of class? Were you absent when I said that or was I not clear enough?"

The student shuddered visibly and shrank back, making some excuse about not being sure and just checking if it was true.

The instructor turned back to face us and I noticed that her gaze paused at me for a moment before she spoke again, "Any other questions?"

No one else said anything.

She clapped her hands together, "Perfect! Let’s start then!"

I stored my egg away and pulled out my sword, fully expecting people to just start fighting and... Only to see a majority of the students just standing there and not moving at all.

There were, at least, some people who had also moved and seemed to be pairing off to fight, but most of the students were still looking around like they were waiting for something to happen.

I spotted a male Mahun who had also drawn his sword but was also surprised to see no one else moving and advanced towards him.

He spotted me as well and we both shared a look, an understanding flowing between us as he stepped away from the crowd to start our duel.

I held the Light Sword in my hand, deciding only to use a single sword for now unless someone defeats me before I will decide to draw out my second sword.

My opponent did not rush at me and merely stood at a distance away from me, looking quite cautious.

He must have seen me beat up the three guys and decided that I was quite a big threat and was treating me seriously.

I decided to make the first move as I kicked off the ground to close the distance, stabbing my sword towards his shoulder.

He saw it coming and tried to deflect it, but he was too slow as my blade pierced his shoulder before he could complete the motion of his sword.

I was expecting the enchantment to heal him or something but...

Blood spurted out from his shoulder as I withdrew my sword and the guy let out a cry of pain before he collapsed on the floor, his hand moving up to clutch at his shoulder.

The bleeding didn’t stop and I was just standing there wondering if the enchantment failed to activate or something.

Instructor Piertra glanced over to the guy and frowned at him, "Really? Just a small stab to the shoulder and you’re already screaming like that? How did you even get to this proficiency in the sword?"

She then turned away, losing interest in the guy right as a screen popped up to show the guy losing fifty points while I gained fifty points.

I was wondering if I should heal the guy’s shoulder or something but right then, light appeared around him and his wound closed up, restoring his arm back to perfect health.

Ah... I understand now... This was the enchantment where it won’t prevent injuries and will let you experience the full sensations of getting injured and will only heal you up afterwards.

I guess they wanted people to experience the full effects of fighting with real weapons instead of coddling them and worrying about people screaming about pain.

I turned back to look at the other students who had also paired off and... Well... It was not a pretty sight.

Some of the students had their limbs hacked off or were stabbed through their chest and were currently screaming or bleeding out on the floor.

This really looked like it would traumatise these people if they had to go through the sensation of dying.

Unsurprisingly, one of the students turned to the instructor with an ashen look on her face, "In... Instructor... I... I can’t do this..."

Instructor Piertra didn’t look surprised by her words and simply gestured towards the door at the end of the training field, "Out. Go ahead to the administration office and remove your name from my class."

The girl hesitated, turning back to look at one of the students who was gasping as he bled out from a stomach wound where his opponent’s sword had pierced him.

She shook her head and quickly ran off without another word.

Instructor Piertra still had her normal smile on her face, acting like nothing was happening despite all the screams of pain that was happening in front of her.

Someone actually threw up and a few other students ran off as well, presumably to also drop out of the class.

Honestly, it kind of surprised me because this could be considered the intermediate swords class... Which means everyone here was probably at tier two of proficiency for the sword... Which in turn means these people have at least trained and fought with the sword before...

So why are they acting like they’ve never gotten hurt before? Did they get to tier two by just doing combat drills or something and never got themselves into a life or death fight before? There’s no way that’s the case, right?

Some of the students also seemed rather nonplussed by this and were also giving the other students weird looks like me, wondering why they were having such a strong reaction to being stabbed or slashed at.

I could tell that these students were definitely veterans since some of them had visible scars which I’m pretty sure they kept as trophies on purpose.

Then, the defeated students got wrapped up in light and their wounds were healed before the screen appeared to show the transfer of points from the losers to the winners.

I’m guessing the sight of the injured students being healed back up to normal reassured most of the students since I saw them letting out a sigh of relief when they saw that.

Did they really think that the injuries were permanent or they were going to lose their lives in this class?

Were they not even paying attention to the instructor when she told them that the place was enchanted?

Even with that realisation, they didn’t seem to be eager to start their own duels and stayed where they were.

Unfortunately for them, they didn’t really have a choice because the other students started challenging them to duels as well and to reject the duels would be an instant loss for them.

One of the other students who looked like he also had experience in a real fight approached me, his blade already held at an angle beside him while his head was slightly lowered to protect his neck.

Guess I should also just keep challenging my classmates until the end of the class as well~
