Chapter 1204: And the Future
Sleeping while leaning against someone may seem cozy, but it’s still a bit uncomfortable. Zhou Chengchen was asleep and suddenly her head slipped, and before Xi Siyan could even react, her little face landed directly into the popcorn bucket with a "snap".
Zhou Chengchen jolted awake and quickly sat up straight, but her mind was still a bit in chaos, not knowing what had happened.
People around who saw the scene couldn’t help but burst into laughter, and Xi Siyan helplessly reached out to pick two pieces of popcorn from Zhou Chengchen’s hair.
Zhou Chengchen finally realized what had happened, and her face instantly turned red. How embarrassing.

In the dim light, Xi Siyan’s mouth curved up in a smile, his eyes full of affection. He tilted his head, his lips brushed against Zhou Chengchen’s hair, smiling silently.
Zhou Chengchen had no idea what the movie was about. When the movie finally ended and she walked out of the theater, her face was still flushed red.
Walking out of the cinema with Xi Siyan, Zhou Chengchen pouted, watching Xi Siyan’s usually icy face actually hold a constant smile, unable to help but say, "Forget what just happened, no laughing."
Xi Siyan’s smile deepened, patting her head, "Let’s go."
This winter is a bit warmer compared to last year, wearing a down jacket outside didn’t feel that cold.
After watching the movie, it was not yet five o’clock, and not quite hungry, they decided to turn into a nearby open park to take a walk.
Zhou Chengchen didn’t ask how Xi Siyan did on his exam yesterday. With what she knew about him, if he wanted to talk about it, he would.

"Yesterday?"

But later he found out she was just out shopping with Xiao Rou, which relieved his mind. Inviting her to the movies was just to comfort her.

Xi Siyan’s mouth curved up a bit again, "No rush, there’s still the future."
The statement was quite a double entendre, if she could perform exceptionally well in the exams next semester, there’s indeed still a chance, although the probability isn’t high. That’s the future, and also they have a lot of future together.
Zhou Chengchen, already in a better mood, now felt even better, "Yes, the future!"
