Chapter 1247: Time to Go Back
Zhou Chengchen’s words once again elicited a roll of the eyes from Zhou Qi, but he didn’t say anything, just turned and silently walked out.
The door to the music room was closed again, and the smile on Zhou Chengchen’s face gradually faded as she looked at the ticket, feeling very sad inside.
If it weren’t for her, the owner of this ticket would be Zhou Qi, not an audience member.
If it weren’t for her, Zhou Qi would probably be like An Rui, having a large number of fans, and maybe even have a similar title as An Rui, something like the XX God.
But all of this disappeared in that hasty graduation trip.
Back then, they arrived in the United Kingdom, in this not-too-large country, and stayed for many days. Then she suddenly had a thought; she wanted to study here.
Watching people of all sorts walking on the streets here, looking at the unfamiliar scenery.
Here, no one knows her, and she doesn’t know anyone. She didn’t want Q University anymore; she just wanted to be here, where no one knew her.
Zhou Chengchen’s decisions have always been abrupt, yet she handles matters decisively.
With the Zhou Family’s ability, it was no trouble to quickly get her into a school.
Others didn’t know why Zhou Chengchen suddenly made such a decision, but Zhou Qi knew. He knew his sister had been bullied, and he almost went back to beat that guy up.
But Zhou Chengchen stopped him. She was not someone who couldn’t let things go; those few days had exhausted all her patience.
During this time away, Zhou Chengchen felt quite good.
It was under these circumstances that Zhou Qi also made an incomprehensible decision; he stayed to accompany Zhou Chengchen.
The United Kingdom, after all, is home to many of the world’s top universities. As a successor of the Zhou Family, he would have to undergo corporate management training eventually.
He had previously wanted to fulfill his own dreams first, then come back, but now he was merely walking the path his parents wanted for him.
His decision disrupted all his and An Rui’s original plans, and Zhou Chengchen strongly opposed it, but Zhou Qi ignored it all.
Thus, the siblings relied on each other in this foreign land.
Saying they relied on each other might sound a bit miserable, but it wasn’t that bad, considering they were a young master and miss of the Zhou Family, materially they lacked nothing.
Because of Zhou Qi’s sudden change of plans, An Rui’s original plans were disrupted as well. In the end, An Rui decided to abandon the idea of forming his own team and went to a team in G City that had previously extended an invitation to him.
Zhou Chengchen held the ticket in her hand; it was time to go back.
Zhou Qi had spent three years obtaining a master’s degree, an incredibly fast pace. He had already graduated, but Zhou Chengchen actually had not.
She chose piano, something she didn’t really like, and turned it from merely a skill into her field of study.
Art students usually take longer than regular students, let alone someone with Zhou Qi’s abnormal speed.
Her brother had already spent three years here, and she didn’t want him to regret it in the future. Given Zhou Qi’s current age, returning to the arena was still possible, but if delayed, it would really be impossible.
After severing all contact with friends back home, she no longer thought about those matters; when you’re young and reckless, there are always things that don’t go as planned.
Zhou Chengchen walked out with the ticket, pushed open Zhou Qi’s room door, and saw Zhou Qi also staring blankly at his ticket.
