"I didn’t run..."

Jian Yu pressed her lips together in resistance, her eyes downcast and aggrieved.

Ling Yanzhi pinched her cheeks. "If you weren’t running, then why did you withdraw from school?"

His voice held a smile, but his slightly narrowed eyes smoldered with a thick, unquenchable fire.

Forced to tilt her chin up, Jian Yu’s full lips parted slightly.

Beneath her were the magnified tentacles of Yang Zhang, and her back was pressed against Ling Yanzhi’s chest.

Her legs were gripped by Xi Yu’s fingers, placed on his own lap, and held down firmly.

A fine, sticky dampness seeped into her ankles, creeping up her calves, through her socks and shoes, and all the way to the soles of her feet.

Jian Yu’s eyelashes trembled, and her brows furrowed.

She pushed Ling Yanzhi away, dodging his kiss. Panting, she forced out a sharp, fragmented whisper. "Enough, someone will..."

Ling Yanzhi glanced around.

This was the periphery of the 3S Area. Usually, only the seven of them ever came here.

It was quiet, and they wouldn’t be interrupted by Pei Yin.

Ling Yanzhi tutted. "No one’s here, baby. You must be seeing things."

He pulled out a red ribbon and swiftly wrapped it twice around Jian Yu’s wrists.

The Red Snake snatched the metal insignia dangling from the end of the ribbon and flew upward, pulling Jian Yu’s hands with it.

As her hands were pulled up, Jian Yu’s waist was tugged upward as well.

Her face flushed. She couldn’t understand why they weren’t getting to the point.

’They have incredible self-control.’

Jian Yu felt a thrill of excitement, her eyelashes clumping together with moisture.

She protested in a soft, weak voice that made her seem easy to bully. "Don’t do this."

Ling Yanzhi chuckled. "Playing coy now, baby? Isn’t it a little late for that?"

He pulled Jian Yu onto his lap, pressing his face against the side of her neck in a brief, intimate moment.

As he lifted his head, Ling Yanzhi shot Xi Yu an encouraging look.

"Do whatever you want. Baby won’t get angry."

Jian Yu bit her lip, her gaze shifting to Xi Yu, who looked to be in a frenzied state.

Her eyes trembled with alarm. She struggled to turn over and crawl away.

Xi Yu grabbed Jian Yu’s ankle, dragged her back, and held her down.

A large hand pressed down on the back of her head, forcing Jian Yu to meet Ling Yanzhi’s eyes, which still burned with unresolved fury.

A flash of red crossed his pupils as a smirk played on his lips. "Our friendly attitude toward Shi Zhao must have made you think we’re afraid of him, is that it, baby?"

Jian Yu frowned and glared at him, the corners of her eyes flushing crimson.

It had no real menace; her fierce glare was tinged with a hint of guilt.

Ling Yanzhi watched her, swallowing dryly with a surge of heat.

"You should save some of that energy to glare at Xi Yu."

A sudden chill on her leg made Jian Yu freeze.

She tugged at her leg in embarrassment. "Let go..."

The ambient temperature was raised.

Xi Yu removed her shoes and socks, lifting one side of her skirt to reveal a stretch of her fair leg.

"Baby is so beautiful."

His gaze was obsessive and sticky, stirring with restless desire.

Jian Yu’s eyes filled with tears. She looked at Ling Yanzhi, pleading nervously, "I can take back my withdrawal application."

"It’s fine, no need to take it back. I support whatever baby likes to do." Ling Yanzhi tightened his grip on her waist.

His fingers applied a bit of pressure, teasing and tormenting her. "Withdrawing is good, too. You won’t have to go out anymore. You can just be a good girl and wait for us to come home every day."

Seeing Ling Yanzhi make his move, Xi Yu jumped in without missing a beat.

Her chest heaved, a tremor running through her as a laugh was stifled in her throat.

She shook her head, sobbing, her words broken and slurred. "No... don’t..."

Ling Yanzhi pinched her chin and leaned down to lick her.

"Aren’t we the ones baby likes most?"

"Last time, baby even let me kiss you. Why run away right after a kiss?"

"Scared? So you act all pitiful and cute. Who are you putting on a show for? You’re just betting I won’t have the heart to go through with it, aren’t you?"

Ling Yanzhi’s warm breath ghosted over Jian Yu’s ear.

His gaze was glued to Jian Yu’s tear-streaked face, and his voice returned to its usual languid tone.

"Withdrawing from school is good. We’ll lock you up and xxx, so Xi Yu can’t dress you up all pretty to go out and attract a pack of stray men."

Xi Yu’s fingers froze, the dark aura around him vanishing in an instant.

He looked confused, the tentacles drooping limply by Jian Yu’s feet. "What’s ’xxx’?"

"Who did you hear that from?" Ling Yanzhi’s eyelids drooped. "You misheard."

He pulled her tighter into his embrace.

The Red Snake released its hold on the insignia.

Jian Yu’s hands fell limply.

She leaned weakly against Ling Yanzhi, her cheeks flushed and her gaze hazy.

’All that talk to make me feel ashamed and angry, but no real action at all.’

Ling Yanzhi leaned down and untied her hands. "Playing pitiful is useless now, baby. What happened today... it’s eating at me. I can’t get over it."

He reached out and massaged Jian Yu’s trembling body. "Will you run again?"

Jian Yu bit the side of her lip as large tears began to fall uncontrollably.

Her voice was soft and hoarse. "I want to be on the same planet as Shi Zhao."

Ling Yanzhi wiped away her tears with his thumb. "Your crying really makes my heart melt. If you weren’t crying for another man, I think you’d be even cuter, baby."

Jian Yu’s sobs caught in her throat.

She looked at them, her eyes rimmed with red.

Xi Yu, his expression obsessive, put her shoes back on with a cold face.

The excitement in his eyes had yet to fade. He stared, mesmerized and without concealment, at Jian Yu’s slender, pale calves.

"Shi Zhao isn’t as strong as us. He can’t beat us. Whatever you want, baby, only we can give it to you."

"Don’t go with him, baby."

"You love me so much, baby. How could you bear to leave me?"

"It’s Shi Zhao’s fault. He instigated you."

"You love me so much, baby, so I can’t bully you. But you’re so fragrant and soft when you cry."

"You’re so pale, baby."

Xi Yu was lost in his immersive brainwashing, his words flowing endlessly.

’I’ve really run into a true pervert.’

Jian Yu felt ashamed listening, but she also wanted to hear more, and at the same time, she wanted to cover Xi Yu’s mouth.

She liked having their attention focused on her, relished their burning, possessive gazes.

Ling Yanzhi spoke up unexpectedly. "Shi Zhao is useful for something, after all. Baby knows how to use Healing on herself now, right?"

"Mm-hmm," Jian Yu nodded dazedly.

’Yes, yes, yes, I can heal myself.’

Realizing what she’d said, Jian Yu stared at him blankly and shook her head. "No."

She darted her eyes around, her expression making it painfully obvious she was lying.

Ling Yanzhi’s voice was mocking, a smile overflowing in his eyes. "How about we have Shi Zhao come over and keep you company, baby? If he doesn’t come, it just means he doesn’t care about you enough, so you should just forget about him."

The smile had yet to fade from his eyes when Ling Yanzhi raised a hand to stop Xi Yu, signaling him to be quiet.

At first, Jian Yu didn’t understand.

Not until Yan Qin’s voice reached her ears.

"Why should I help you?"

Jian Yu’s gaze suddenly shot upward.

She was sitting in Ling Yanzhi’s lap, looking down.

Yan Qin was meeting secretly with a male student.

The two of them were bickering, chasing each other into the peripheral area, clearly taking advantage of the privileges granted by Duan Feiye.

Jian Yu got a look at the man’s face. "Chen Sheng."

Or rather, Xu Sheng.

Probably thinking this place was safe, Xu Sheng even mentioned Jian Yu’s name.

"You hate Jian Yu too, don’t you?"

Yan Qin laughed out loud.

She was blunt. "I do hate Jian Yu, but why should I risk my own future to help you? If I don’t touch her, I won’t offend the top students. I can have a great, glorious time at the academy. Isn’t that better?"

Despite her words, after some prodding from Xu Sheng, Yan Qin reluctantly agreed.

The two of them left one after the other.

Jian Yu didn’t know what they had agreed upon.

Just as she was pondering how to deal with this, they were back at the villa in a few quick flashes, and she was locked up by Xi Yu and the others.

And in Ling Yanzhi’s hand was a thin, golden chain.
