Chapter 114: Heretic
Jian Yu’s body felt weak, and Xi Yu had slathered a thick venom on her neck.
Her mind was groggy, her eyelids drooping shut heavily.
She couldn’t lift a finger, yet her consciousness remained exceptionally clear.
The sound of water was distinct, Xi Yu’s breathing ragged.
Jian Yu’s eyelids fluttered open, and she glanced around.
The bathroom was spacious. The bathtub was like a swimming pool—shallow but wide.
Xi Yu activated the cleaning cycle and was setting the temperature for the hot water.
He unpinned his brooch and insignia, then took off his uniform’s outer shirt.
He set the purple outer shirt aside. His long, white uniform jacket fell at his feet.
Of the seven of them, Xi Yu had the slenderest build. The cinched waist of his white inner shirt accentuated his broad shoulders and narrow waist.
Unfortunately, he didn’t take off all his clothes.
Seeing that he wasn’t making another move, Jian Yu wearily closed her eyes.
Xi Yu sat down beside her, selecting a bottle. "Baby, what scent of body wash do you like?"
He answered his own question, "Baby likes white tea."
After picking one from the various bottles, Xi Yu stepped into the bath.
He held Jian Yu and sat her on a floating lounge chair, his fingers eagerly unwrapping his present.
Jian Yu’s eyes were narrowed, her breathing gradually becoming ragged.
Her voice was soft and weak, lacking any hint of intimidation. "Don’t touch me."
Xi Yu acted as if he hadn’t heard her. "Baby, I’ll help you."
The water rose to her abdomen, and Jian Yu soon felt the current slide across her neck.
Strength returned to her fingers. She tried to make a fist.
’She was just contrary like that, always saying one thing and meaning another.’
’It was fine when she had no strength, but the moment she did, she couldn’t stop herself from resisting.’
Jian Yu pressed her elbow against Xi Yu and used her arms to try and crawl away.
She had forgotten her legs were bound together. Coupled with her extreme weakness, she nearly collapsed into the deeper water.
Xi Yu effortlessly scooped her up and settled her onto his lap. "Baby, my pale little baby."
His gaze was cloying as he lowered his head to pepper her with kisses.
Red marks, like plum blossoms, bloomed on her fair, tender skin.
Her waist was pinned. Jian Yu’s feeble struggles were easily suppressed by Xi Yu.
Foam was lathered onto her back, waist, and legs.
Eight tentacles sprouted from Xi Yu’s back. Gripping small washcloths, they began scrubbing Jian Yu all over.
He buried his face in Jian Yu’s neck. "Baby, you smell so good."
Steam and mist swirled around them.
A pink mist erupted from Jian Yu’s chest, chasing and coiling around Xi Yu.
Playing hard to get, she said, "Let me go, Xi Yu."
Her cry was faint, soft, and hoarse.
"I want to wash myself."
Xi Yu restrained her thrashing legs. "Baby, my wiggling baby."
Ignoring Jian Yu’s struggles, he lowered his head and silenced her protests with his mouth.
Jian Yu’s eyes widened in a daze.
After the long, lingering kiss, her cheeks began to puff out, and her gaze grew hazy and distant.
Xi Yu released her, watching as she parted her lips slightly, gasping for air.
"Baby, I want more."
He bent down to kiss Jian Yu’s reddened nose and pale, tender cheeks.
His voice was urgent by her lips. "It’s not enough."
His lips brushed past the damp, red corners of Jian Yu’s eyes, then moved to her long, bewitching neck.
"Baby, mine, my baby."
Fat tears rolled down Jian Yu’s face. The corners of her eyes, stained red, added to her fragile appearance.
’I feel like he’s going to kiss me to death.’
’I’ve finally figured it out. Xi Yu has no idea how to do *that* kind of thing!’
’A miscalculation.’
’I need to find a chance to send him a few videos so he can learn.’
’Shen Gu is Xi Yu’s Executive Director; he has to report to him periodically.’
’Maybe I can borrow Shen Gu’s Star Brain and ’accidentally’ send Xi Yu the wrong link?’
Lost in thought, Jian Yu’s expression became dazed and uncomprehending.
Their breaths mingled. She felt a strong force press her waist forward.
Her entire body was pressed against Xi Yu.
Pei Yin walked in to see this steamy, alluring scene.
His shout was frantic. "What are you doing? Xi Yu, what are you doing?! Let go! Get off her! Get off her right now!"
The two separated. When Pei Yin saw that Xi Yu still had his clothes and pants on, his expression suddenly turned strange and serious.
Perhaps his tolerance had evolved, or perhaps Pei Yin was feeling a sense of ’disappointment.’
He raised his hand vaguely, not noticing the bathroom’s high temperature, and rubbed the bridge of his nose. "Um, don’t stay in the bath too long. It’s easy to catch a cold."
Xi Yu’s gloomy voice had become low and husky. "Got it."
His lips were red, and even his perpetually pale face was tinged with a vibrant flush.
A flicker of satisfaction flashed in his tea-brown eyes.
Xi Yu lifted Jian Yu into a princess carry and placed her on a soft couch by the edge of the bath.
He leaned halfway against the side, holding Jian Yu’s hand. "Baby, my sweet-smelling, soft baby."
Jian Yu was half-turned on her side, her eyes downcast and her face flushed. "Ayue, I’m cold."
Calling him Ayue used to be very effective.
Not anymore.
Xi Yu stood up, took off his shirt, and put on a bathrobe.
His long, powerful legs stepped ashore.
He walked over and picked Jian Yu up. "I haven’t put lotion on my baby yet."
His eight tentacles diligently squeezed out body lotion.
Pei Yin didn’t want to leave.
Black wings materialized behind him, and he flew to the edge of the bath.
His gaze fell on Jian Yu’s ankle. "Is this a new model of shackle from the Alliance?"
Xi Yu nodded. "Mhm."
Jian Yu’s eyelashes trembled, and she shrank back a little into Xi Yu’s arms.
"You’re hiding from me?" Pei Yin looked displeased. "They all can, so why can’t I?"
He grabbed Jian Yu’s ankle, checking if the shackle had left any marks.
Finding nothing but a few man-made red marks and no chafing, Pei Yin let her go in a huff.
"Serves you right for being tied up. What were you thinking? Did you think we wouldn’t be able to do anything just because you ran to Emperor Source Star?"
Jian Yu didn’t want to deal with him, so she just hugged herself, sniffling.
Pei Yin looked around and found the princess dress Xi Yu had prepared.
"Stop with the lotion. She already smells good. Rubbing all that random stuff on her will just make her stink."
He draped it over Jian Yu with some disdain. "Can she even attend class normally wearing this thing? Isn’t the skirt too long? How embarrassing would it be if she accidentally stepped on it and fell."
The heat still lingered on Jian Yu’s face. Her fingers curled around the edge of the dress.
She bit her swollen red lips. Her soft, chestnut hair was scattered over her shoulders and collarbones, making her look utterly pitiful.
Xi Yu sniffed. "I used the unscented kind. Baby doesn’t stink."
He undid the dress’s elaborate sashes and pulled at the ties in the back.
"Baby is wearing this. She doesn’t have to go to class. Ayan said she’s not allowed to go out again."
Xi Yu lifted Jian Yu’s legs.
Jian Yu closed her eyes in embarrassment.
The tips of Pei Yin’s ears turned red.
He turned his back. "It’s for the best that she doesn’t go out. Yan Qin might be up to her little tricks again soon."
Xi Yu didn’t say anything.
He spun around with Jian Yu in his arms. "Baby is so pretty."
Pei Yin noticed Ling Yanzhi wasn’t there. "Where is he? Did he go to capture Shi Zhao? Why are you the only one here?"
Xi Yu held her close. "Traces of a Soul Ghost Body appeared at the academy. Duan Feiye was the one who discovered it."
He hooked an arm under Jian Yu’s legs, holding her with one hand. "They went to investigate. It might be an intelligent Soul Ghost Body this time, so the few of us need to re-examine the area."
Jian Yu rested her head on Xi Yu’s shoulder.
She blinked. ’A Soul Ghost Body?’
Pei Yin checked his messages. "How come I didn’t get a notification?"
Ah, he had marked it as read and sent a nonsense reply.
Pei Yin paused. "I’ll keep an eye on Yan Qin for now."
Xi Yu planted a kiss on Jian Yu’s forehead.
When he looked up, his expression was cold, completely devoid of his earlier frenzied demeanor.
"Ayan already has people watching her and Xu Sheng. If she really tries any of her little tricks, I won’t spare her."
Pei Yin understood. "Perfect. She’s been clamoring to take the medicine to help with her Awakening every day. I’ll rush the progress on my end. If it doesn’t work out, we’ll just have her transferred back to Emperor Source Star."
