Why don't you build a village on top of the world tree

Episode XVII: Growing Enrolment Wanted

Summer soon arrived as we returned to Tacax from the skyscraper meeting.

As temperatures rose, an anti-heat stroke stall opened in Amabashiri, which connects the upper and middle cloud layers. It's just a sales office with water and tea bottles lined up in the stalls, so it's like a water supply point that's a long walk or something.

I still don't have a choice because there aren't many people in the cloud not-so-layers.

Recently, guests also visited a luxury lodging in Billows, which also had the effect of stretching the operation of coyote cars to the cloudy no-layer, saving them from being bumpy and migrating hopefuls. In anticipation of these residents, some of the people thinking of starting a coffee shop came out, and now Richay is fighting the application papers in the next office.

"Roll this up, wind!

"Oh, cool"

It is Melmie who is moving the regimental fan whilst shouting out a medium secondary dialogue in the nori.

They're all assembling in the offices of the subcloud no-tier for lunch, and they're stirring me up standing in the kitchen. It helps a lot to send the wind because it gets really hot when you use fire for cooking.

"Hey, hey."

"Oh, my God, Melmie"

When I asked back, pinching the minced meat and vegetables, the wind that Melmie would send was a little stronger.

"It looks like the rain in the office broke in the breeze during this time, and Mr. Melmie discovered that there was a puddle in the strange spot yesterday. I think this is important to your home, and I want you to report it here."

"Well done, Lord Melmie. So, where are the enemies?

It's at the front door.

"What, the front door? Seriously?"

"Seriously."

Oh, my God. Visitors will visit this office, so visitors may wear water if the rain cloud on the front door remains damaged.

"Speaking of which, the rain in this office was a simple design. I've done some skyscraping, and at this point I should just change it into something a little more decorative."

Make a dent in the rounded meat and arrange it over the frying pan.

Melmie put the fan in his left and right hands. They're going to catch me burning meat and send twice as much wind.

"Do decorative objects mean chains? Mr. Melmie wants to make it too!

"It's also called fine work, and I don't mind leaving it to Melmie. I just need strength because it's a workmanship of warthog armor."

"What type of demon worm?

"I guess Beaant. I think I'll get it right away because it's not the kind of high quality thing I use for the echo board, and it's just the right shade."

Broil the frying pan on fire, passing it through the meat exactly. By the way, meat is coyote. The herbs mixed in to remove the smell of meat open the aroma with the heat of the frying pan and rise with the hot air to appetite.

"I can have lunch in a little while, so can you get Richay and Teten for me?

"Yes. Right next door, though."

Melmie gets out of the chair and peeks into the next office.

"Richay, Teten, you can have lunch. Come here in a nice place."

As soon as Mermie spoke, Richay and Teten came into the kitchen.

"Amane, it's good while you cook, can you listen to me?"

"It doesn't seem like there's a problem..."

Look at Richay's face, decide it's not an emergency, and I'll put my gaze back on the hamburger that makes him bounce oil on the frying pan.

I heard the sound of pulling a chair from behind. Teten and Richay must have taken their seats.

"The number of people who want to migrate is about 20% lower than last year. Katella City and Hedgeway Town also received letters saying that the exodus was calming."

"Finally, I wonder if it feels calm to move people"

Sometimes takakus developed rapidly, people were moving in search of jobs, and people were moving clandestinely on the north side of the world tree, including the decline in food production areas and the movement of consumption areas due to emerging village problems.

It can be assumed that the number of people wishing to migrate to Takakus, which is overwhelmingly sparsely populated relative to their size, has not been overcrowded in each municipality.

"That's a little period of stability. From now on, Takakus will have a slower population growth."

"That's not what it is."

Richay comes to deny it. Since we can read from the materials that we are in the stabilization phase, I guess we are denying whether the population growth will slow down.

"It's been twenty years since Takakus started raising rum birds. With meat coming out on the north side of the world tree, it would have improved your nutritional status and had a lot of kids, wouldn't it?

"That's what we talked about."

Baby booms arrived with increased protein supply and infant mortality also decreased.

Given that adults in this world are fifteen, is it time for the first generation to start looking for a job?

"But if you're looking for a job, you'll be studying locally in the beginning. I don't even think I'll be coming to Takakus for the next fifty years."

About two hundred years or so. Although some professions may become instant warfare in about ten years, if you need skill and taste such as craftsmanship, spend the corresponding years in training.

"There are children and parents who think about enrolling in Tacax school as a place for their studies. Of course, you're in college."

"Right. If there are more people, they need food, and if they're going to make food, they need knowledge of agriculture. Takakus College can finally learn about breed improvement, and it makes sense to increase the number of people wishing to enroll"

Agriculture is a job without much to do, and if you go to Tacax College at an early stage to gain knowledge, you can make a difference from the rest.

"Not that many people still want to enroll next year, right?

"Not so far. I think there will be more between now and the fall."

As autumn approached and the summer heat eased, applications were coming from all over the office.

"Are you from Wallakis City too?"

"I didn't expect to receive applications for admission all the way from the south, not just the north."

Recalls that the momentum beyond Richay's expectations had delivered hope for admission to the Takakus school and that the former village chief of Kidato, who is the school director, seemed busy as well;

"Aquas is also an avid skyscraper for food exports, so maybe that's what this has to do with. Is the dorm room okay?

"With this momentum, I think we'll have to sift it off in the exam. Same goes for dorm rooms, because there's a limit to the number of takakus schools accepted."

I also got exams for the first semester I enrolled last year, but at best it was something to see basic academic achievement. It's like my parents taught me how to read and write letters, like calculations.

However, there are a bit too many prospects for admission this time. You'll need to come up with a slightly more difficult problem to sift off.

However, we cannot raise the difficulty of the entrance exam without notice. Simply saying it gives you difficulty doesn't make sense to come up with an issue that has nothing to do with the class content. Should I sell something like a reference book if I want to be equal?

"As for selling reference books, I have to create an opportunity to buy them - hey, what's up, Teten?

Little by little they pulled my clothes, so I looked back and Teten stood with the letter in one hand.

"... Katella city also, freshmen, more"

"Is this heat source management training school?

"... Reference books too, apparently. Takakus, stick it out."

Is it with you to think everywhere?

Spread the ad sticker for the reference that Teten was enclosed in the letter. It's a lot of work. Whether you asked for a beautellarm or some painter is pretty eye-catching.

"Takakus school asks for advertising stickers too?

Richay asked me about my policy, and I put my arms together.

I think advertising stickers are mandatory. Because if you don't make it known, it won't start.

However, the takakus training school, which just opened last year, is not well known in reality, so when it comes to freshmen's dealings, the minutes are bad. It is advantageous in that the class content is not worn anywhere, but it is a difficult substitute to understand without some knowledge because the class content is also professional.

The fact that Takakus rushed up to the skyscraper all at once gives him a lot of attention, but if I were a parent, I'd make him enroll in the Kattera City Training School for Heat Source Managers, where he can ride a solid elite course.

"So far, agriculture is the only family business for those wishing to enroll?

"You have craftsmen and painters. Some kids have been making applications because they want to learn music. So is researcher aspiration."

Rosas, will you be working with Beauterrum, Joynesley, and the fellow student aspirations?

"Let's advertise. I just want to make the most of it because it's a good opportunity to secure human resources. I'm going out to a takakus school for a little while, so I need you to talk to one of Rosas' art reps about advertising."

"Okay."

It's a waste of time, so I'm just leaving my office to cross the Yaba Bridge and head to the second branch of the Yunno layer.

As soon as I arrived at Tacax School, close to the suburban fields, I headed to the principal's office.

"Principal, do you have a minute?

"Mr. Amane? Please, come in."

Sit in the chair the principal recommended, and I'll look at the desk. Placed in front of the principal is a textbook used at Takax School and a whole lot of paper.

"You were creating exam questions for basic school students. With more colleges and more students looking to enroll, we're doing a job that we can accomplish with our hands free."

"Was it? When the manuscript is complete, bring it to a printer located in the cloud-no-layer. Because now you can do it for free."

It's one of the workshops that former residents of the village of Kubesta, who was one of the emerging villages, are allowed to train, and about three people are in and out to do their training as sculptors and printers of prints. I just need to get the basic school exam questions printed because the workshop manager was having trouble saying that I wanted to leave the job to him, but couldn't leave the big one to him because he's still immature in arms.

"Is it free? That would be appreciated. I can't really afford to ask Joynesley. So, what are you going to do with the floating costs?

With a smile, the principal glances at the face of the former chief of the village of Kidato. Again, I have a face as a manager, so I talk fast at times like this.

"I thought I'd promote the Takakus College to publicize the content of classes and create opportunities for sales of reference books for those wishing to enroll."

"When it comes to planning more than that, is that an example?

"Yes - it's a school festival"
