「The next morning, on the third basement level of No. 7 Wisteria Lane.」

On the ground, over a thousand Shadow Crystals from the Shadow World lay densely scattered about.

Most were Tier Two; only a dozen or so were Tier Three. These were nearly pure black, with an almost liquid Shadow Energy flowing within.

Beside the crystals sat a dozen or so specially made Crystal Bottles.

Inside the bottles was a viscous, dark silver liquid. Fine bubbles continuously rose to its surface, emitting the rich aroma of a Shadow Magic Potion.

This was the Promotion Potion Ian had specially concocted for Gaga, using the Shadow Element Magic Potion Materials he had previously collected.

It was designed to stimulate a deep Awakening of its Shadow Night Kite bloodline and guide the fusion of the Shadow Rule Fragment.

"Gaga."

Ian looked at the little guy on his shoulder.

Gaga was perched on his shoulder, its small eyes fixed on the pile of Shadow Crystals, the depths of its pupils glinting with excitement.

"Are you ready?"

"I’ve been ready for ages!" The little guy flapped its wings, took flight, and landed in the center of the pile of crystals.

Its black feathers shimmered with a profound luster under the cold light, as if they could swallow light itself.

Ian said no more as his Spiritual Power surged forth like a tide.

The Isolation Witch Array on the third basement level lit up, layer by layer!

Starting from the corners, silver-white runic patterns spread across the walls, floor, and ceiling.

They sealed the entire space completely, ensuring not even a single ripple of Energy could escape.

Having done all this, Ian took three steps back and sat down cross-legged at the edge of the area.

"Begin."

Gaga closed its eyes, its wings fully extended, every single feather standing slightly on end.

It took a deep breath, and all at once, the surrounding Shadow Crystals began to glow!

Dark purple light erupted from within every crystal, converging into a liquid torrent of shadow!

The torrent, like a black Giant Dragon, completely engulfed Gaga.

A HISSING, devouring sound arose as the Shadow Crystals gradually dimmed, shrank, and crumbled into dust.

The Shadow Energy within them was forcibly extracted and poured into Gaga’s body.

Gaga’s body began to expand.

From a height of one and a half meters, it swelled to three meters, then five...

The color of its feathers gradually shifted from Dark Silver to the Night Shadow Black of the Shadow World.

When the blackness reached its extreme, its feathers began to reflect an iridescent sheen.

The silver-gray deep in Gaga’s pupils began to swirl and expand, and its aura began to rise.

From Tier Two Peak, it slowly approached the threshold of Tier Three.

The dozen or so Tier Three crystals had also dimmed, and Gaga’s aura was now infinitesimally close to Tier Three.

’Now is the time.’

Ian activated his Gravity Rule. The dozen or so Crystal Bottles shattered simultaneously, and the Potions were pulled forth by the force.

"Swallow it," Ian transmitted through his Soul.

Gaga opened its mouth and swallowed all of the Potions.

BOOM!!!

The little one’s body jolted violently. Its five-meter-tall frame swelled again, instantly surging past ten meters, then twenty.

Just by slightly unfurling its wings, it filled the entire Laboratory.

The shadow patterns on the surface of its feathers flickered wildly, like an overloaded circuit.

The silver nebula deep within its pupils spun faster, emitting a terrifying gravitational pull.

The surrounding space... began to warp, and a unique "collapse" of shadow appeared.

With Gaga at the center, all light was utterly devoured.

It became a patch of pure darkness where even Spiritual Perception would be lost.

From within the darkness came Gaga’s suppressed, low roars—the tremors of its metamorphosis.

Ten minutes later, the darkness abruptly contracted. All the Shadow Energy, as if crushed into a ball by an invisible hand, was injected into Gaga’s body.

The little one’s body began to recede.

From twenty meters, it shrank back to ten, then three, then two...

Finally, it stabilized at a height of one meter with a four-meter wingspan.

But the color of its feathers had completely transformed into the shadow black unique to Shadow Creatures.

The Shadow patterns on its surface had linked together, forming a complete and natural Rune Array.

Within the Array, the Shadow Rule flowed like liquid. Deep in its pupils, two shadow vortexes spun slowly.

Its aura had reached the level of a Tier Three Extraordinary!

’Success.’ A look of joy flashed in Ian’s eyes, and he let out a long breath.

Gaga opened its eyes and looked down at its wings, at the flowing Runes.

"Ian... I succeeded."

Though its voice was still somewhat sharp, it no longer had the hoarseness of a young boy, but instead carried a hint of maturity.

"How do you feel?"

"I feel so strong. I could probably take on a hundred of my old self."

Gaga flapped its wings and flew a lap around the Laboratory, leaving behind faint gray afterimages in the air.

This wasn’t its Shadow Jump, just its pure flight speed.

Ian’s eyes widened in surprise. The little one’s speed was at least ten times faster than before!

"What about your Shadow Jump?"

"Let me try." With a flap of its wings, Gaga’s body vanished in an instant. It "jumped" directly into the Shadow World, not even leaving an afterimage.

Three breaths later, it abruptly reappeared in another corner of the Laboratory.

"I almost made it to the city gates just now. My jump distance has tripled, and I don’t need any preparation time."

Amazement flashed in Ian’s eyes. ’A three-thousand-meter Shadow Jump.’

This meant that in a battle against an opponent of the same tier, as long as Gaga kept teleporting, it would be in virtually no danger. Its enemy would never be able to catch it.

"What about your Shadow Domain?"

At Tier Two, it was merely a prototype; at Tier Three, it should be a complete Domain.

Gaga flapped its wings again.

Throughout the entire underground Laboratory, Shadow Energy writhed like a living thing, forming a miniature "Shadow World."
