Chapter 474 - 346: Tier Three Summoned Demon, Final Preparations 2
Ian nodded in affirmation. "Very good."
Gaga’s advancement from the Tier Two Late Stage to Tier Three was more than a tenfold increase in power.
Its speed, jump range, Domain strength, the duration it could remain in the Shadow World... everything had undergone a qualitative transformation.
Now, inside the Shadow World, Gaga could probably go head-to-head with a Level Three Middle Stage Wizard.
In the real world, with its Shadow Jump and Domain, it wouldn’t lose to an average Level Three Initial Stage Wizard.
"Congratulations, little one." A smile spread across Ian’s face.
"Ian, thank you. This is all because of your help."
Gaga flew back to his shoulder and nuzzled his cheek, its expression full of dependence.
"Without you, I might still be a little Tier One Raven. Now... I can finally be of use to you."
Ian smiled. "You’ve always been a great help."
After speaking, he looked toward the Abyssal Altar in the corner of the Laboratory. His gaze grew profound.
’Next... it’s time to make the final preparations.’
Half an hour later, Ian had packed up all his materials, emptied the Laboratory, and returned to the underground level.
He gazed at the Abyssal Altar in the center, a thoughtful expression on his face.
"The altar can’t stay here," he muttered to himself.
’I’m going to the Profound Yellow World, and I don’t know how long I’ll be there. With no one to guard it, what if it’s discovered...?’
Although Wisteria Lane was very secluded, he couldn’t afford to take any chances.
’The best solution is to move it. Find a deserted Wilderness, dig down a thousand meters, and rebuild it.’
’I’ll also set up five layers of Isolation Witch Arrays to completely block any fluctuations. And... the Super Long-distance Teleportation Array needs to be built alongside it.’
The plan gradually took shape in Ian’s mind. He turned, walked back up to the ground floor, and entered the living room.
He took out ten specially made Crystal Tubes from his Dimension Ring. These contained the Strong Effect "Purification Potion" he had prepared for Titus.
Based on his progress, Titus should awaken in another month or two at most, but Ian couldn’t wait that long.
’I’ll leave these... for Aidele.’
He carefully sealed the Potions inside a Jade Box, then looked out the window.
The afternoon sun was just right, casting a warm and comfortable glow across the courtyard.
’It’s time... to say goodbye.’
「That afternoon, at the Justice Clan Castle.」
Delia was standing at the entrance. Her eyes lit up when she saw Ian approaching.
"Honored Guest Elder Marcus!"
She hurried forward and bowed respectfully. "The young miss is in the study. I’ll take you in."
Ian nodded and followed her into the castle.
The corridor was long, lined with portraits of past Clan Leaders.
Sunlight filtered through the stained-glass windows, casting colorful patterns of light and shadow on the floor.
When they reached the study door, Delia stopped.
"Young Miss, Honored Guest Elder Marcus is here."

"Ian, come in."
Aidele’s calm voice came from within.
Delia pushed the door open and stepped aside.
Ian walked in. The study was large, with bookshelves lining the walls.
Aidele was sitting behind a desk, the sleeves of her deep purple Long Robe rolled up to reveal her fair wrists.
She was reading a document. Hearing his footsteps, she put it down and stood up.
"Sit."
Ian sat in the chair opposite the desk.
Gaga perched on his shoulder, unusually quiet, its small eyes surveying the study.
"What brings you here today?"
Aidele walked to the window and stood with her back to Ian, her voice soft.
"Usually... you don’t come looking for me on your own."
Ian was silent for a moment before taking the Jade Box from his Dimension Ring and placing it on the desk.
"These are ten Tier Three Purification Potions. Your father should awaken in another month or two at most."
"These Potions should be enough."
Aidele turned around. Her gaze fell on the Jade Box, her expression complicated.
"Are you leaving?" she asked softly.
Ian nodded. "Yes. I’m preparing to travel the Central Continent to broaden my horizons."
This was the excuse he had prepared long ago. It was perfectly normal for a Level Three Wizard to travel the continent in search of resources for further advancement.
Aidele didn’t press him. She walked to the desk, her fingertips gently caressing the lid of the box.
"Then... when will you be back?"
"I don’t know," Ian said honestly.
"Maybe in a year or two, or maybe... a very long time."
Aidele lowered her head, her long hair falling and obscuring the side of her face.
The study fell silent, with only the rustling of leaves in the wind outside.
After a long while, she looked up, a smile on her face.
"In that case... I wish you a safe journey."
She walked over to Ian and extended her hand.
"No matter where you go, remember... the Justice Clan will always be your ally."
Ian took her hand. Her palm was soft, but a little cold.
"Thank you."
"I’m the one who should be thanking you." Aidele withdrew her hand and turned back to the window.
"Without you, my father might never have woken up. Without you, I wouldn’t be in this position."
She suddenly seemed crestfallen, her voice dropping to a whisper.
"Without you... so many things wouldn’t be the way they are now."
Ian said nothing. He didn’t know what to say.
Gaga also remained quiet, its small eyes darting between Ian and Aidele.
Finally, it lowered its head and gently pecked at Ian’s collar with its beak.
Ian instantly understood. He stood up. "We... should get going."
"Alright. Be careful on your journey."
Aidele didn’t turn around, simply continuing to gaze out the window.
Ian turned and walked to the door. When he reached it, he stopped and glanced back.
He saw Aidele still standing by the window, her back straight, but her shoulders were trembling slightly.
"Take care."
The sound of his footsteps faded down the corridor and eventually disappeared.
In the study, Aidele slowly turned around, the corners of her eyes slightly red.
She returned to the desk, picked up the document, and sat down again, as if nothing had happened.
But the hand holding the pen was trembling slightly.
After leaving the castle, Ian didn’t return to Wisteria Lane. Instead, he flew straight out of the city, heading east.
Gaga perched on his shoulder, its small claws gripping him tightly.
"Ian... she’s very sad," the little one said in a low voice.
