Chapter 333: Joy Sheridan Brings Men to Threaten Ivy Sherwood with Photos

The next day, Quentin Blackwood left early for work. Ivy Sherwood told him not to bother driving her, that she could just grab a cab to wherever she needed to go.

Instead, Quentin handed her a set of car keys. The garage downstairs was full of his cars, and Ivy could take her pick.

When Ivy left, she went downstairs and chose one.

Yesterday, she had gotten Edie familiarized with things. Today, Ivy was going to meet with some potential partners to discuss collaborations.

To establish a major brand, sales were crucial. In addition to online and offline channels, securing partnerships with other companies was also important.

Ivy had just pulled into the parking garage of the company building when two other cars parked alongside her.

As Ivy got out, people emerged from the other two vehicles.

Leading them was none other than Joy Sheridan.

Several burly men followed behind her. Just one look at the scene told Ivy everything she needed to know about Joy’s intentions.

After all, she had used this exact trick on Cheryl Yates.

Cheryl Yates, Lustre’s number one socialite, had been so terrorized by Joy that she barely dared to leave her house anymore.

Joy had even taken videos and photos, which she could use to threaten Cheryl at any moment.

"Joy Sheridan, what do you think you’re doing?" Ivy stared at her.

"Ivy Sherwood, look at you, right where I want you. You had the nerve to slap me yesterday, and today, I’m settling the score!"

With that, Joy waved her hand, signaling for her men to advance.

"Hold on," Ivy called out. "I only slapped you once yesterday. You slapped yourself the other time."

"I don’t care! Today, I’m going to teach you a lesson!"

Joy shot a look at the men, and they began to surround Ivy.

Ivy even noticed that inside one of the cars, a camera, lighting, and other equipment were all set up.

Today, she was determined to get photos of Ivy. If Ivy dared to stay with Quentin Blackwood, she would plaster those photos all over the city. She didn’t mind letting the whole world see Ivy Sherwood naked.

Besides, she wanted to see for herself just what kind of body Ivy had that could so thoroughly entice Quentin.

She considered this an act of mercy. She hadn’t arranged for a group of men to rape Ivy. This was her final bit of kindness. As long as Ivy was obedient, everything would be fine.

But if she didn’t listen, then she would have no one to blame but herself!

Outside the parking garage, the men tailing Ivy watched the scene unfold. If Joy Sheridan truly dared to make a move, they would intervene immediately.

They had all been assigned to protect Ivy. The orders from above were clear: they had to guarantee her safety at all costs.

If Joy tried anything, they were to engage directly.

Just as they were about to move forward, the leader saw what happened next. He raised a hand, signaling his men to halt. "Wait."

"Not sure yet. Let’s watch a little longer."

The situation up ahead seemed to have changed.

Ivy looked over at Joy. "Joy, come here. I have something to say to you in private."

Joy assumed Ivy was scared. "Scared now, are we? If you get the hell out of Aethelgard, I might just spare you."

Despite her words, Joy walked over and leaned in close, curious to hear what Ivy had to say privately.

But then, Ivy produced a small knife from out of nowhere. She grabbed Joy’s shoulder with one hand and pressed the blade against her neck.

"Don’t move," Ivy’s voice was ice-cold. "A blade doesn’t have eyes. Don’t blame me if you end up with a new scar on your neck."

Ever since Gideon Gordon from the Blackwood Group had tried to kill her, she’d decided it was wise to carry a little something for self-defense whenever she went out.

Plus, with Quentin Blackwood repeatedly warning her to be careful of Joy, how could Ivy possibly have let her guard down completely?

Carrying a small knife for self-protection in a critical moment... and now, it had come in handy.

The bodyguards watching from a distance were stunned. ’President Blackwood’s woman is this wild? Are we sure she even needs our protection?’

Joy froze, terrified the blade would actually slice into her neck.

"Joy, we’re both adults. Stop playing these childish games. If you dare to do anything to me, I’ll pay you back double. If you don’t believe me, go ahead and try. Let’s see if people are more interested in seeing my photos, or photos of the great Miss Sheridan of the Sheridan Family."

"I don’t really care. I have nothing to lose. But you’re different. Are you sure you want to go head-to-head with me?"

As expected, Joy was starting to get scared.

Ivy found that this tactic seemed to be quite effective against spoiled young ladies like Thea Sherwood and Joy Sheridan.

"Ivy Sherwood, don’t you go too far!"

"Joy, you have your methods, and I have mine. Neither of us is some innocent little flower. I don’t care if you like Quentin Blackwood. If you can steal him away, that’s your skill. But if you try to pull something on me, I’ll do the same to you. Go ahead and try me if you don’t believe it."

"Ivy Sherwood, you’re so arrogant. Aren’t you afraid I’ll tell Quentin all about this?"

Ivy said, "Be my guest. Why don’t you turn on your phone’s voice recorder? I can say it all again. Or you could take a video. Of course, while you’re at it, be sure to tell him about how you brought a group of men to corner me. Who do you think he’ll side with, me or you?"

"Ivy Sherwood, let me go, or they’ll really stop holding back!"

’This trick has never failed me before... how come with Ivy, it just...’

’It’s all this woman’s fault. That treacherous, cunning bitch. It’s so infuriating!’

"I’ll let you go. Tell your men to leave first."

Joy had no choice but to tell her men to leave.

After the men were gone, Ivy still didn’t release her. Joy asked, "I already told them to leave. What else do you want?"

Ivy said, "I remember when you went to Lustre, you took photos of a girl, right? Give me the originals."

"Why should I give them to you? Don’t push it, Ivy!"

"Give them to me!"

"Fine, fine! They’re just photos. You can have them."

’As long as that woman isn’t trying to seduce Quentin Blackwood, it doesn’t matter if I keep the photos or not,’ Joy thought. ’If she tries anything in the future, I can just take more.’

Joy didn’t have the photos on her, of course, but they were on the computer in the car.

Joy called the men back over and had them delete the photo files right in front of Ivy.

Ivy even recorded a video of the deletion with one hand. ’This video might come in handy later,’ she thought. ’If I ever need a favor from Cheryl Yates, this will make her owe me one.’

After the files were deleted, Ivy still didn’t remove the knife from Joy’s neck. She escorted Joy out of the area and only let her go once they were in a more crowded place.

The men assigned to protect Ivy all came to the same conclusion: she was definitely not the sheltered "kept woman" they had imagined.

They even reported the incident to Quentin Blackwood, who wasn’t surprised when he heard.

Ivy was not the type to let herself be taken advantage of. Many people were intimidated by Joy’s status, but Ivy had never been afraid of such things.

Quentin told them to continue tailing Ivy. He suspected that Joy wouldn’t be scared off that easily.
