Yomigaeri no Maou

Episode 99: An Unmatched Settlement

Hummis unfolds a number of sorceries as he flies towards Illis.

Around her, flaming tornadoes, wind blades, dirt dolls and water spears fly at tremendous speeds towards Illis, if one after the other.

If you are a common swordsman or magician, there is no word out for them that are powerful enough to be fatally injured by just one of them, surprisingly, because Illis avoids them with a cool face, naught, and destroys them again.

But the only thing that can still be saved, though, is that Illis doesn't show any signs of flying.

It's about her.

I had no doubt he would have some flying magic, but seeing that he hasn't used it yet, maybe it's some problematic magic.

There's complications, there's a lot of magic needed, that kind of problem.

Otherwise it should be used immediately to counter the flying humis.

That's what I thought, and I was a little relieved.

Flying from Illis toward Yumis is enough to throw a single spell of witchcraft or fragments of the stage that fell around it at an incredible rate at best, and she doesn't seem to be trying to attack Yumis herself...

That's what I thought, arrowhead, unexpected Yumis, and Iris himself kicked the ground and jumped up towards Yumis in the air.

They're willing to make a direct attack.

However, Yumis, who was still undergoing physical strengthening, was immediately distanced from the spot because he was able to detect such Iris' actions.

That was supposed to be an unproblematic response, beyond the fact that Illis did not use flying magic.

But the reality seemed to be further beyond Yumis' imagination.

Immediately after being thrown out into the air, Illis immediately changed direction and chased the escaped humis.

The behavior is like a swordfish bent at right angles, and Yumis opens his eyes in surprise.

The maneuverability to that point has not been achieved even with the flying magic of Yumis, because I didn't think Illis would be using that stuff here.

No, I didn't think it would be strange to use it, but there is no atmosphere like flying magic on Iris himself.

Indeed, just for a moment, I felt some sorcery unfolded......

That's what I thought, but now I have to avoid Illis, and Yumis tried to change direction again.

But now I think Iris might come after Yumis again, paying stronger attention to the move than he did earlier.

Then, as Yumis flew off the spot, he turned his body clever like a cat in the air and then kicked himself under the feet.

Yes, I kicked underfoot (...).

Even though it's in the air there, how the hell...

When Yumis stared at him thinking so, he saw there a moment when something was going to crack, and Yumis realized there.

"... junction!?

They heard that voice. Iris smiled,

"Have you noticed? It's a small junction."

That's what I said and shook my arm up.

The hearing of such a voice in her ear allowed Yumis to realize that Iris' fist was imminent in front of her and avoid it with a single hair.

But there is a red line drawn on the cheek.

I avoided hitting him, but he's plundered.

But for such a humiliation, Iris doesn't seem to give me time to be at ease or anything.

Again, Illis comes to Hummis, who was supposed to rush away from the scene, with a linear behavior.

If you look at that change of direction, it doesn't look like you're still using flying magic, and as you self-declared, you're going to pack the distance from Yumis again and again with what should be called pseudo-flying magic, which is to scaffold small box-shaped boundaries in the air and move them.

At the same time, I'm surprised that there was such an idea, but I immediately realize the problem that I probably can't do this.

First of all, the kingdom, is surprisingly classified within advanced sorcery, and it is inherently odd that it should continue to series at such a rate.

Once activated, maintenance itself is not that much of a hassle, but when activated for a moment in every position, I can't usually think about the landing point, think about where the next boundary should be tied, activate it immediately, and so on.

Of course, you're as powerful a humid as a superior.

I wouldn't even say it's absolutely impossible, but perhaps a few steps slower than Illis, and that would make no sense to be in the air in the first place.

I don't think my body's behavior in the air can be as good as physical enhancement magic alone, and I'm pretty sure I can't do it without using some magic in combination if Yumis wants to do the same.

If that happens, in the end, it doesn't make much sense where I used it.

How useful is the flying magic you are using right now, and that is tantamount to saying pointless technology.

But it doesn't seem the same to Illis.

Whereas Yumis can only change direction slowly with his flying magic, Ilis is at right angles, allowing another 180 degrees of conversion, which is probably a way to fully demonstrate the physical ability of the ancient demonic tribe to the unreasonable.

Instead of using flying magic, if it's about the size of the arena, it's quicker and more efficient not to use flying magic.

"... irrationally enough!

With that screaming, Yumis keeps avoiding Iris' attacks running through the air of the arena endlessly, but ruthlessly there comes the limit.

Yumis felt then that his body was losing its strength.

"... magic..."

The prolonged use of flying witchcraft, the poor fuel consumption of physical strengthening witchcraft, and the slightly lacking focus on Iris' irrationality led to a loss of magic where it was said that Yumis' immense magic would be diminished sooner than usual and would consequently last another few minutes.

I haven't completely lost my magic yet, but this can't happen anymore.

Later, we can either take the last blow or reduce the impact of the last attack from Illis as much as we can......

Iris also seems to understand that, and is smiling looking down from above the box-shaped junction stretched out in the air with a gradually decreasing humour.

Until earlier, you were in the opposite position, and now you're the one whose humis looks up.

Come on, what do we do?

Yumis somehow finds poppy excitement in the invincible grin of Illis, who just says so.

I wonder why, at the same time, the answer came to mind.

Because I'm in a position to challenge you.

Throughout my life, I've never been in that position.

If you mean it, you could have won most things.

But not now.

Even if you squeeze, you're much more likely not to win.

And I thought that because such a wall existed in front of me, I remembered some bottomless joy.

So Yumis wondered if she would ever imitate a woman's obsolescence, like dropping a bet here or something.

Gather magic from all over your body.

I feel like I'm out of breath, and even my vision sees some sort of hallucination.

It's a magic hallucination, said to be visible just before the magic runs out.

I'm not proud of Yumis, but I've hardly ever been in that state in my entire life.

This is because Yumis is a highly potent mage, an adventurer, but for the safety of himself and his companions, he has always retained enough magic.

No matter how much magic I used, I never ran out of magic to have a huge amount of magic.

At best, it's about when you remember that state when you were little, when you were forced to pull out all your magic by telling you to run away first, no matter what you did, and when you were still an adventurer and ran out, when you weren't used to it and used too much magic.

In a way, it is a disgrace to a sorcerer to be in such a state as to see magical hallucinations (magic halcinations).

That's because it's nothing more than immature or exposed to a small amount of magic.

But I don't care about that now.

It's more important than that to just take a blow to Illis.

That's how you keep your concentration, in your hallucinations, humid.

To such a humiliation, Iris said.

With a demonic voice like a demon.

"... Yumis. I don't think it's a good idea... you should give it up soon, huh? Here, you are going to lose to me without skin, understand your lack of strength, and apologize in your dreams for what you said to my brother-in-law (who is here) to strip his fangs even though he is a joke... Sick, fall asleep. It's that magic that binds us. I will mow your consciousness in an instant…"

That was tantamount to telling me to give up fighting.

In the guise of calm, even though the expression remains normal, it has fallen unnaturally, and the amount of magic has decreased to such an extent that we can clearly see it.

From the point of view of Illis, now Yumis may even seem inferior to the junior adventurer.

So that's what I'm saying when I try to show you mercy, if you tie the line, it won't hurt so much, and I'll faint you.

But Yumis thought.

That's a terrible insult.

Adventurers don't give up.

Under no circumstances should we give up winning.

Yumis became an adventurer because he once found it inside.

Suddenly remembering that memory, which had until now fallen into the depths of his memory, Yumis began his magical chant by gripping his fist hard.

I can tell you what sorcery you use, unwilling to hide it, it's a round, unusual chant.

I can no longer see the audience around me blurry and I can't hear much anymore so I don't know what kind of reaction I'm getting myself, but I could immediately imagine that it would probably be a disappointment to be there.

That's because magic is too naive for a superior to use and can be called a small missed expectation of scale.

However, there was no more magic left in Yumis that could only be used.

And furthermore, I still believed there was a chance.

So Yumis won't stop chanting.

And when he saw it, he set it on the girl's face with a loving expression like a mother.

"… I think I know a little bit about the feeling of the" Demon King "… My brother-in-law (who is here) has always fought the heroes alone…"

What that meant, in the first place, the words themselves, had not already reached Yumis' ears.

However, I understand from the way it stands that Illis is willing to take it without avoiding the attack of Yumis.

And I said.

"... I'm sorry for your pity... but this is what I mean right now... I'm glad you took it"

In response, Illis replies.

"I guess those who have shown strong will should be rewarded quite a bit...... some demon king once said so and often fought the heroes of the people (human) who come alone. I, too, am going to inherit that will as my subordinate...... Come on, Yumis. Come, I will not avoid."

To that answer Yumis smiles and then screams the last word of the spell to be cast.

"... Ice Ball (Grakies Spaella)!

At the same time, it embodies itself near the palm of Yumis, and at a rate, a sphere of ice large of a man's head flies towards Illis.

I guess he's really willing to endure it, Illis stepped down his right foot by a cliff and stepped hard underfoot to add a little more magic he's using to strengthen his body.

Earlier, but not yet, did you mean you didn't mean it, or was it the last, so you put in the magic without thinking about the later?

The hazy consciousness of Yumis cannot even be clearly perceived as the movement of Illis' magic, and cannot be judged.

I just stared at the end of that ice sphere with a strong gaze to gaze at it.

And it hits.

hit by Iris. That, after all, seemed impossible to wear a single scratch, and Iris stared at Yumis and grabbed his fist.

Now it's our turn, but I said so.

But there can no longer be resistance to humis or anything else, and consciousness is distracted by the impact on its abdomen without being able to react to the iris, which has packed its distance at a wind-like rate.

In a nearly vanished consciousness, the appearance of Illis entered my eyes.

"... you did it at the end"

That's what I said. Iris' arm, the left arm hit by the ice sphere, seems to be frozen from shoulder to fingertip, not running.

I don't normally come with that effect or anything like that in that sorcery, but that showed that the sorcery that Yumis unleashed at the end said was not normal ice ball sorcery.

The long chant was just that because it wouldn't let it distract you.

Yumis was satisfied and completely unconscious when he saw that he was able to achieve a little.
