Zero no ambassador: my harem

Zero Demon Envoy's My Harem Chapter 61

Putting back the wand and holding the sword with both hands, Hao Tian looked serious.

The Eye of the Wind King had grown to a few meters square, and the wintry winds raged around it.

"You're ready, so take the move." The Duchess manipulated the Wind King's Eye and pushed it towards Hao Tian.

"Exhale -" taking a deep breath, Hao Tian held his sword in both hands and raised it above his head.

A six or seven meter tall miniature tornado pressed towards him.

"Go ahead, Flame One Cut."

Hao Tian ruthlessly slashed this sword diagonally.

"Hoo-boom-rumble."

Dazzling firelight emitted from the sword, the huge amount of air drumming the flames became more and more blazing and raging, expanding to five or six meters in size in an instant to pounce towards the small tornado.

Boom boom.

Flame sources generally bombarded the surface of the tornado, part of the tornado was cut apart and scattered, but still half of the flame met the wind, blazing flames burned through the tornado.

Hao Tian exhausted his magic power, holding his sword in both hands to bypass the tornado and flames that were still frozen, and rushed towards the duchess.

"Innocent." The Duchess was forced by Hao Tian to four or five meters before she was surprised, and her wand pointed at Hao Tian.

Hoo-hoo-hoo, four wind blades juxtaposed together in power to change the earth slashed at Hao Tian.

Hao Tian showed a wry smile, and his long sword slashed at the wind blades.

Dever tried his best to glow and engulfed the four wind blades.

Hao Tian swung the longsword forward again, and a solid one meter high wind blade sliced towards the Duchess.

The Duchess' color changed, and her wand waved in front of her.

A layer of light blue half-man-sized wind shield blocked the wind blade, and the wind blade cut through the shield and dissipated in the air afterwards.

Hao Tian had taken the opportunity to rush up and stab the Duchess with his sword.

"Don't." "Mother-sama." "Hao Tian." The three sisters shrieked.

The Duchess smiled wryly and waved her wand viciously.

"Hoo-boom" a solid blue wind hammer issued from the front part of the wand and hit the longsword blade, the huge impact made it difficult for Hao Tian to hold the longsword out of his hand.

Dever spun in the air and clanged into the grass five meters behind him.

The Duchess used her wand against Hao Tian's chest and tilted her head slightly, looking arrogant.

"Hoo-" Hao Tian sighed and raised his hands, "Alright, I lose. You're amazing, mother-in-law."

"Of course, you weren't even born when I became a quadrilateral." The Duchess had had a fight and seemed to be in a good mood. She put away her wand and turned to her quarters.

"Eleanor, prepare a room for him. And, sweating from a fight, order the maid to boil water. I need a bath." The Duchess left.

"Yes, Mother Superior."

"You're all right, Horton." Louise ran over.

"I'm fine, just a little wasted from the magic drain." Hoshi walked over to take Devor back to his waist.

"It's been a long time since I've seen a wizard who forced Mother Superior to that point. You've got a good eye, Louise." Katelia smiled.

"Sister Katelia." Louise coquettishly said.

"Well, let's go back. Hao Tian your clothes are wet too, go take a shower later, I'll prepare a change of clothes for you." Katelia.

"Well, thanks." Hao Tian and the others walked back to the mansion as well.

Chapter 51 - War Looms

The next day, the Valier girls gathered in good spirits on the balcony to dine, and Hao Tian looked a little sleepy. Eleanor and Katria were quietly checking him out, blushing slightly. Louise was sitting by Hao Tian's side, looking sweet.

The Duchess was at the top, serving black tea and tasting it.

"Louise, Louise is back isn't she?" The heavy male voice came.

Hao Tian looked up, it was a middle-aged man with steady blond hair, I think it was Duke Valliere.

The Duchess looked over, "Well, back soon, how was the military meeting?"

"Those ministers, hmmm, one prevaricating back and forth with no real decisions."

"You're the teenager." The Duke stared at Hao Tian, "Trying to take Louise away from me?"

"Well, you can't say that, but Louise is with me, and she'll be able to visit her in-laws often. I'll be there for her, too." Horton said.

"You guy, I heard that you're already the captain of the Griffins. Do you know what's been going on lately?" The Duke asked.

"I think it's the Albion Rebellion, I heard that the Crown Prince of Verus has not been found yet."

"It's called the Republic of Albion now, it already established diplomatic relations with Torristine three days ago, and I don't know where the news came from, but it wants Her Highness to hand over Crown Prince Verus, or else they will send troops to attack Torristine. The ministers have quarreled over this several times in the past few days. Do you think that Willus is really in Torristine? Should we fight?"

Louise's three girls held their breath as the Duke spoke. The war might be going in a different direction because of Duke Valliere's decision.

Horton smiled faintly, "If Torristine bows to the rebels. The next time they want Princess Anrietta to marry over, will Torristine marry or not? If you marry, the rebels will want this country again afterwards, will you give it or not?"

"What do you mean?" The Duke frowned.

"Fight! It takes a war to make the rebels, and other nations, understand that Torristine is not to be messed with, so that Torristine can gain equal status between nations. Otherwise, other countries will still treat Torristine as a weak country and bully indiscriminately." Hao Tian hurled his voice.

The Duke stared at the teenager and prospective son-in-law, "You mean fight? Torristine is a small country with a small army, with a standing army of no more than 15,000. And the Republic of Albion still has over 30,000 troops after eliminating the royalists. What are you fighting against?"

"It's not just one or two days since the small army of Torristine was weak, but it's still passed down for six thousand years. It's because Torristine has the strongest group of magicians in the continent, the [Quadrilateral] magicians originally had four people, and after Valut's death, there was also his mother-in-law, Garing of the Gale, the head of the Magic Academy, Osman, and the army marshal, Gramont. You know that Gelfin but one person killed five thousand rebels, if three [Quadrilateral] magicians with a large number of troops, the killings caused would not be less than that."

"And Albion's only Gelfin died in the rebellion, they should currently have no [Quadrilateral Rank] magicians. The number of [Line Level] and [Triangle Level] are also far less than Torristine, and are mostly wind system magicians."

"Torristine has a magical advantage, enough to suppress the Albion Rebels."

"Hmm, that's putting it lightly. Are you trying to get those nobles to fight as soldiers? They're not even willing to contribute money and food, let alone go out to fight in person."

"Special times and special treatment, as long as the three in-laws who head it are willing to contribute, the other wizards have no one to rely on, and it's not like Her Highness can't succeed if she compulsorily commandeers them."

"Do you know how many people that would offend? Hundreds of nobles will hate you, and even if you can win the war, you won't be able to do well in the future." The Duke's gaze flickered.

The corners of Hao Tian's mouth picked up, "I don't remember my position or strength ever relying on them."

The duke stared at Hao Tian for a while, slowly softening his face and laughing.
