As Yuqi immediately folded, it took Nami by surprise. Still, she wasn’t going to question why she was so willing to agree all of a sudden.

"Yueyue?"

"I don’t see an issue if Xiaoyun doesn’t... But I do have a little question."

"What is it?"

"You wouldn’t mind if I had one of my IT guys check some stuff on your servers in case there’s some illegal stuff?"

"This company is fully compliant with law enforcement and government regulations. I’m not going to be a privacy wizard or anything."

"Great. You have my vote."

With three votes in the bag, Nami turned her attention to Wuli and Shuli, who both didn’t really look that interested.

"What do you two think?"

"Is this going to affect cards when we pay for stuff outside?" Shuli questioned.

Nami couldn’t answer the question as she looked over to Leyan, who had stayed mostly silent.

"If I remember correctly, it should be fine. We’ll still have more than enough money to live off normally."

"You got my vote."

"Same here."

With Wuli not putting up anything, Nami was now even closer to getting her project off the ground.

"Mom? Tianci?"

"I don’t know about this kind of stuff, d-don’t ask me," Tianci answered as she forfeited her vote.

"Nami, how long have you been planning for this?" Leyan questioned.

"Um, let me think... I think I first started pitching this idea when I was promoted in the bank as an IT lead."

Seeing Nami not flinch in the slightest, Leyan took her words for granted. Although a frown soon appeared on Xiaoyun’s face.

He knew it was bullshit, as he vividly remembered how she came up with the idea no more than a few weeks ago.

Still, he didn’t burst her bubble.

"That’s very long ago... You had my vote."

"Great. Kate, Anna?"

"How are you planning to monetize this stuff? All of these sound like free services. I feel like you’re going to burn through money."

As Kate raises her concern, everyone on the sofa quickly realizes the biggest issue that had been overlooked in her pitch.

In every part of the roadmap Nami had shown, she didn’t mention how the company was going to make money.

"We haven’t planned an exact detail yet. But we’re aiming to get market share first, then we can consider possible routes of ads or subscriptions."

"Electric bills are pretty expensive..." Anna quietly murmured as she thought back to her own factory’s electric bills.

"The servers aren’t going to be that energy intensive. With today’s technology, it will only be a drop in the bucket."

"If you say so."

"I’m fine with it as well, then."

With Anna and Kate both agreeing to the plan, it was sealed in stone. Yet, Nami still chose to look over to Houqin and Lily.

"What do you two think?"

Both of them quickly shook their head, not really giving any input, as neither of them felt responsible for handling the money.

"Great. Then I’m going to go set up!"

As Nami ran straight out of the living room without changing anything, everyone rolled their eyes for a second before looking over at Xiaoyun.

"What? Why are you all looking at me?"

"Did you encourage Nami to come up with this idea of hers?" Leyan questioned.

"I don’t know what you’re talking about. This is my first time hearing her proposal... I’m going back to my room to nap."

Seeing Xiaoyun heading upstairs by himself, nobody got up to say anything about it. They were just too tired to care.

"It’s so hot... Mom, can you turn on the AC?" Yuqi quietly murmured as her forehead started sweating all of a sudden.

"Fine."

---

Just as Xiaoyun took off his slippers and was about to lie down on his bed, his phone suddenly started ringing.

Looking at the number, it was Zhangfei.

"Hello?’

"You forgot about your trip?" Zhangfei’s voice appeared.

"Didn’t I already ask you to delay it like two days ago?"

"Hehe, I was just testing your memory. Ahem, I’m calling to wish you a lifetime of happiness and a harmonious marriage—"

"Thanks. If that’s all you’ve got, then see you tomorrow."

"Wait, wait, wait."

"What?" Xiaoyun questioned, his voice sounding a little irritated.

"How many people are you planning to bring? I need to keep count of the size limit."

"Just one other person."

"Only one?"

Xiaoyun could hear the surprise tone in Zhangfei’s voice, but he didn’t bother explaining why or who it was.

"You could bring more if you want. I’ve got plenty of space on the plane if you want to bring, like, a small team and stuff."

"Have a good day."

Ending the call, Xiaoyun threw his phone aside as he fell back onto the bed. Soon, drowsiness took over his body.

---

"Honey, wake up. It’s dinner time."

As Xiaoyun woke up to the noise, he quickly opened his eyes and saw Leyan standing before him in plain clothes.

"Did I nap for the entire afternoon?"

"Yeah, you did. Come on, let’s go downstairs before the food gets cold."

"Give me a second to wash my face first."

Leyan left the room as Xiaoyun headed over to the bathroom. Once at the sink, he turned on the faucet before splashing the cold water onto his face.

"Ugh."

The coldness instantly sent a chill down his spine. Feeling more awake, he headed back out into the hallway before hearing a bunch of noises coming from downstairs.

"Da-da!"

"Hey!"

As Yongyi and her two sisters quickly surrounded Xiaoyun at the bottom of the staircase, he gently lifted all of them up into his arms.

"We miss you, daddy!"

"I miss you guys too..."

Xiaoyun couldn’t mutter a single word out of his lips, as missing them for one day was going to turn into two full months.

"Took you long enough."

All of his wives were sitting on the sofa, some with their toddlers, while some looked a little exhausted, as if they hadn’t napped.

Even Nami was back, sitting right next to the two newlywed brides as she stared towards the TV with boredom on her face.

The only person missing was Leyan, who was already over at the kitchen to set up the tables for everyone.

"You guys didn’t nap?" Xiaoyun asked curiously.

"We did. Just not as comfortable as napping on a bed." Yuqi grumpily murmured as she took Lianrong back from his arms.

"How come you guys didn’t go back to your rooms to nap?"

"Because Huayi sent our kids back early. Bingbing and Wenwen just refused to eat the formula she had at home."

"Not surprised."

As all of them took their babies back, they headed towards the kitchen to start eating the dinner Leyan had made.

"So much food today."

"It’s just leftovers from the wedding. I’m too lazy to cook today." Leyan murmured as she looked oddly more exhausted than anyone else.

"Good enough for me."

Xiaoyun quickly picked up his bowl and chopsticks, eating the leftover food on the table as everyone started eating it as well.

"Mom, Mom! Can I try it?" Yongyi suddenly asked out loud as he noticed the roasted goose with crispy skin.

"It’s too hard on your teeth."

"Waaaaaaaa! I want it."

"Fine."

As Leyan cut the piece of roasted goose into smaller pieces, both of her sisters started making the exact same demand.

"Mommmm!"

"Mommmmmmm!"

"Okay, okay."

Both Yuqi and Yueyue looked over to Leyan with a hint of annoyance before grabbing a butter knife to break the meat apart for their kids.

"Mhm!"

Xuanhua quickly pointed towards the roasted goose, seemingly demanding the same food that her siblings were getting.

"Not happening. Your teeth aren’t even fully developed yet."

The moment Nami refused her baby’s demand, she suddenly started throwing a tantrum as she threw her spoon aside.

"Just give her a tiny piece... Here."

As Yueyue dropped a small piece of meat onto Nami’s plate, she reluctantly dropped it into the small bowl of porridge in her baby’s bowl.

"Mhm!"

"Mhm!"

Just as Bingbing and Wenwen made the same demand, both of their parent had already taken the butter knives from Yuqi and Yueyue.

"Wait, Shuli, Wuli, don’t do it."

Leyan’s order confused them a little, but they listened to it as they dropped their butter knives back down onto the table.

"You guys’ babies are still too young to eat any solid food."

"Is it really that big of a difference? They’re like only a month apart from Nami’s baby." Wuli questioned.

"Better be safe than sorry."

Neither of them tried to argue back, accepting it despite both of the babies starting to throw a tantrum with repeated table slams.

They were on the edge of making a mess with their extra-small portion of porridge... Until Wuli and Shuli took the babies back into their arms.

Soon, they quieted down as a nipple filled up their mouth.

But then everyone’s attention shifted again as somebody was purposely teasing their kid for no reason.

"Hey, you want this, don’t you?"

As Tianci cut a piece of roasted goose with only a pair of chopsticks, she was purposely putting it up to the baby’s nose.

"Tianci, what’s wrong with you?" Leyan questioned.

"I want to have a little fun, can’t I?"
