The figure unleashed the blast, a massive stream of red energy that ripped through the air extremely fast. It slammed into Ren’s shoulder and blasted right through, coming out the other side and hurling him back several meters. He slammed into the ground and rolled before stopping.

The figure dropped his hands after seeing that the attack had worked. He began approaching with steady steps.

"You proved to be one hell of an opponent," he said as he drew closer, thinking that Ren was down for the count, but then the gravity around the figure suddenly changed and lifted him right into the air.

"You see, the thing about me is, I have a well of tricks so deep that you would not know what to expect."

He raised his hands, and multiple spheres formed in the air. He shot them all at the same time. Each one slammed into the figure, and an explosion followed. The figure did his best to hold up his shield. Even after it shattered, he brought up a new one. But he could not stop all the attacks, and the force was already getting to him.

When Ren was done, he dropped him, and he slammed into the ground. Ren then proceeded to slam him deeper into the ground with a massive pillar of gravity with the might to shatter the bones of the average person.

The figure let out a groan of pain as he lay on the ground. Ren looked at him and gripped his sword. He knew this was not the end.

The fighter struggled back to his feet. He faced Ren. "You have grown so much since you took down the Calamity Orc. Safe to say you could have taken it down with one attack at this strength."

"You have not seen me go all out yet, and I promise you, you do not want to, so tell me where my wolf is or I’ll make sure you see what I can do," Ren threatened.

"Hahaha, what good will it be if I do not test out the full extent of your strength?" he spoke and got ready to fight.

"You know what? I am sick and tired of this shit," Ren said and dropped his sword to the side, matching up to the figure.

The figure reacted and pointed all ten fingers, unleashing a barrage of attacks, which Ren blocked by using Iron Scale to cover his entire body. The blasts slammed into him and caused explosions with each one that landed, yet he did not even take a step back. He kept stepping forward.

"Ho-how are you doing that?" he asked in shock, but Ren gave no reply. He kept walking until he was close, and then the figure tried to move back fast. Ren closed the gap with a flap of his wings and stretched out his hand to grab the figure, only for the barrier to stop his hand. Ren refused, extending his claws and then running lightning into them nonstop.

The massive bolts of lightning began to force the barrier to waver. The figure put all that he had into trying to defend against the hand, but after a few seconds, Ren’s hand broke through the barrier. Ren grabbed him by the neck and pulled him forward before headbutting him right in the head, almost knocking the hoodie off.

The figure reacted by activating a close-ranged spell, causing earth spikes to shoot out of the ground around Ren, forcing him to let go of the figure, who then backed away very fast. Ren stepped forward and used brute strength to break through the spikes.

"Are you going to keep running or tell me where he is?"

"Cough, cough. You really are something else, and I wish I could fight you out to the end and make you show me all your strength, but it is clear that I’ll have to cut this short if I want to survive." The figure raised his hand into the air, and a massive magical circle formed over Ren in the sky. Then a smaller one formed under him and an even larger one above. They all started spinning in opposite directions.

"I knew that our fight would be one hell of a fight, and so I set this up long before you arrived."

Ren looked up and then looked at him. "And what is stopping me from walking right over there and smacking you clean to make this stop?" he asked.

"Oh, I forgot that part."

The moment the figure said that, smaller red magical circles formed on the ground. From them, red chains burst out and wrapped around Ren, stopping his movements.

"I had this spell planned out before you even arrived, and I just had to get everything right to make sure I executed it with pure perfection," the figure said as the circles spun even faster.

"Bye-bye, dragon."

A massive red beam shot from the sky with so much force it caused the clouds to scatter apart around him. It stole the sound from around it and made a sharp, high-pitched sound as it came down before slowly rising into a higher frequency, causing the air to tremble.

The beam slammed right into Ren and completely covered him in the center. The blast dug into the ground and kept going. The shockwave traveled extremely fast, ripping trees and rocks out of the ground and into the air.

The blast lasted a full ten seconds, and when it was over, even the air was fried, and a huge cloud of dust remained there. The figure believed that this spell, which he had used, would end it all.

But from the dust, he saw an outline standing tall and unfazed.

"Impossible," he muttered and began to step back. The dust cleared slowly and revealed Ren in his full dragon form, standing tall with his scales glimmering like metal and shining.

Ren turned his head and looked at the figure, his dragon eyes piercing right into his soul.
