Leo’s eyes remained closed in concentration as his body created and altered new mana pathways to release and process the new skills. Because of that, he completely missed the air itself igniting out of nowhere before flowing along the wind and burning everything in its path.

In the distance, Lily’s black lightning was already crushing and destroying everything it struck. Wooden buildings caught fire the moment they were hit, while those within the fire-element-saturated area Leo had created—but had yet to directly influence—were already smoldering with flames. A single bolt of lightning was enough to ignite an entire building.
The phenomenon looked as though the whole area was filled with flammable gas, and with a single lightning strike, everything started to burn.

"AAAHHHHH!! IT BURNS!!!" the demons screamed as the scorching wind slammed into their bodies.
Most of them were already covered in red blisters.
Though, this effect would have come much later if not for the Solarflare element acting as a purifying agent against the demons’ bodies.

Suddenly, the wind picked up speed as the rate of incineration increased. Some low-level demons turned to ash where they stood, while others with stronger abilities were still holding on. But it was clear that even they wouldn’t last much longer.

- Forms a massive vortex of compressed wind and Solarflare that drags everything toward its center. The relentless rotation incinerates enemies while its purifying flames rapidly erase corruptive energies.

- Conjures a colossal tornado of Solarflare sustained by violent winds. It uproots everything in its path, reducing structures and enemies to ash while purifying corruption within its immense area of influence.
By now, a raging tornado made of pure Solarflare had formed within the city. But that pure Solarflare wouldn’t remain isolated for long, because the wind sustaining the tornado was already powerful enough to uproot trees and houses, sending them swirling into the sky.
Anything combustible didn’t last long before it completely disappeared.
That included the demons.
No one was spared.
A spiraling column of flame, 4 kilometers high and 10 kilometers wide, consumed everything under it’s influence.
Leo was still floating right at the center of the phenomenon—hairs fluttering, clothes swaying and spread arms gave him an almost majestic look when combined with the chaos around him. Yet the flames didn’t harm even a single hair on his body. This was because Leo was immune to any flames ranked lower than his own.
This was also the reason Leo wasn’t going all out, since doing so would have injured even himself.
Watching the effectiveness of Leo’s attack, Lily didn’t hold herself back either. She proceeded to form a tornado of wind and water, with a slight twist of Hydra’s poison rain that burned the demons’ skin like acid.
Obviously, unlike fire, water and poison weren’t as effective at killing the demons swiftly, so Lily kept her black lightning crashing down upon any demon that caught sight of her.

One are water storm, other fire, but both equally destructive.
But since they were two circles within the 20-kilometer-wide circular city, there were bound to be two spaces left opposite each other that were relatively untouched by the mayhem caused by the duo.
Naturally, many demons took shelter in those regions.
"Where did these monsters come from?!"
"How in the world do humans have such high-level professionals free to deal with such a small corrupted city?!"
"Like, what the fuck?! Are we really those unlucky demons some professionals decided to use to test their new abilities?!"
"Yeah! Motherfucker, they’re so high-level they should already be fighting beasts to secure more land! What are they doing here?!"
The demons cursed their luck, but the next moment, the ground beneath them erupted.
"Now what?!"

Lily’s Hydra, Pryde, burst through the ground after making sure every living demon inside the underground tunnel was dead and drowned.
In other words, one of the two safe places amid the mayhem would be handled by Pryde.

"Man, fuck it... In this vast world, these top powerhouses only found our asses to rip apart..." a demon muttered before getting engulfed by Agni’s flames.
No demon was powerful enough to do anything. They all died like fodder, while the people who had escaped the city silently watched it being razed to the ground, speechless as though witnessing something impossible.
Most of those who had escaped had gathered together as a precaution in case they needed to fight against any unexpected threat, while many others were still circling the city and forming groups.
"Who are they..."
"Is that a level of power a human can reach?"
"Are they even human? Why would a human destroy a human city?"
People talked amongst themselves.
But many had gathered around a group that was explaining everything to them.
It was none other than Patric’s group and the captives rescued from the demons. They had drawn everyone’s attention when they saw Lunaria drop them off before flying back toward the city.
At first, everyone remained wary, afraid that doing anything to the group might provoke the wrath of that enormous spirit beast. But as the city continued to be destroyed, some brave people finally stepped forward to ask what was happening.
"What? You were going to be sacrificed by demons?"
"Yes..." a man replied, clutching his head as if in immense pain while recalling the scene inside the dark room and the terror he had felt deep within his soul.
As they spoke, everyone came to know the basic situation.
But not many believed it.
"No way, dude. The City Lord is very kind. He could never be a demon... And you’re saying that the whole city was demon-infested according to the people currently destroying it? How can that be true..." But even the man who said those words sounded cautious, almost as though he feared Leo and Lily might descend from the sky and swat him like a fly for doubting them.
At that moment, someone stepped forward from the crowd.
"Everybody, pay attention!"
