Star University - Dean’s Office

Dean Jerome was going through the reports. Just then, his device buzzed. He immediately picked up the device and saw the name.

His expression turned serious. He then answered the call.

"Yes, Elder," he said.

"Where is the kid?" An old man’s voice sounded from the other end.

"Zack Lockwood is here. He is taking a few days’ rest."

"Okay, I want the kid to appear at the Tier-3 Sub-Post three days from now." After saying that, the person ended the call.

"Tier-3 Sub-Post, ah. So he has finally been called there," Dean Jerome said to himself.

Sigh!

A long sigh escaped from his mouth. He knew it was impossible for Elder Jane to summon Zack Lockwood to her place.

Because the energy there would crush him. Even the energy at the Tier-3 Main Post was too much for Zack Lockwood.

Only a Red Mark Warrior could survive in the Tier-3 Main Post. He had been to the Tier-3 Main Post before, so he had experienced the energy firsthand.

But the Sub-Post was different. It was a training region for the Half-Step Red Mark Warriors. The Half-Step Red Mark Warriors from all the forces would be there.

Zack Lockwood would meet warriors from the five other Universities, the Warrior Families, the Clans, and other hidden forces. It was truly a gathering place for the strong.

He knew Zack Lockwood had not reached the Half-Step Red Mark Stage yet, but with his various Ancient Inheritances, he would have no problem.

Also, he knew that the Tier-4 Region was not safe for Zack Lockwood. The foreign creatures had deployed the Thorn Reaper against him.

Who knew? If Zack Lockwood stayed here, they could use other elites. If any of the elites broke through the Boundary, they could reach the Tier-4 Region.

He thought the higher-ups had foreseen this problem.

Sigh!

A deep sigh escaped from his mouth. He thought about how it had not been that long since Zack Lockwood joined Star University. He was still a young man.

Yet, he had already surpassed the faction leaders and the main elders. Even the current Legacy Hall warriors, who were all Purple Mark Warriors, were weaker than Zack Lockwood.

He decided to speak to Zack Lockwood when he came back. There were some dos and don’ts that needed to be shared. It was a place where strong warriors from all sides gathered.

He wouldn’t be there to protect him. Also, he knew there were not many with Purple Mark strength staying in the Tier-3 Sub-Post. The place was survival of the fittest.

Since Zack Lockwood had taken down Dead Fang and the Thorn Reaper, he was not worried about him. He was worried about the others.

The place was filled with schemes and traps.

After collecting his thoughts, he began to focus on his work.

...

Star City

After arriving at Star City, I began to revisit those old places. Especially the auction house; I did my first mission there.

When I got there, I found there was an event in the auction house. I bought a ticket and entered the place. The event was a private exhibition.

A few warrior families had organized the event. They were handling the sale and purchase of goods, which included rare treasures.

The information piqued my curiosity. I began to explore the exhibition. They had rare affinity stones on display as well.

I saw wind and flame affinity stones. Then I went past a few shelves. I came across the herbal treasures. They were selling rare treasure plants and flowers.

I began to observe them on a whim. When my gaze fell on the white flower plants, I felt a strong sensation. I immediately thought that the plant was useful to me.

I looked for the seller. Then I saw a middle-aged female Gold Mark Warrior. She was wearing the attire of a female warrior.

She was dealing with other customers. I moved through the crowd, then I came in front of her.

The female warrior suddenly saw the young man appear. She was about to ask something, then found that she couldn’t see through the young man’s strength.

Her heart stirred. She knew two possible reasons:

One was that the young man was stronger than her, the young man was likely a Purple Mark Warrior. The second was that the young man had a treasure to conceal his strength.

In both cases, it was important for her not to offend the wrong person.

"Young man, what do you need?" she asked in a polite tone.

Hearing that, I smiled and asked, "I’m buying that white flower. What’s the price of it?"

The female warrior heard it. She then turned toward the flower pots. Her gaze fell on the white flower plant. Her eyes gleamed with a twinkle.

The white flower plant was useful for healers. It could purify the healing energy in their bodies. She didn’t know whether the young man needed it for himself or for someone in his family.

She then walked over to the spot and picked up the flower pot.

She came back and looked toward the young man.

"The white flower plant costs around 2,800 credit points," she said.

Hearing that, I didn’t want to bargain. I paid the full credit points and bought that flower. Then I stored the pot inside my storage ring.

After making the successful deal, I didn’t leave the place. I began to explore other treasures. I didn’t expect a normal event to hide such treasures.

I spent a good 20 minutes there. The manager had changed. There was someone else in the post now. I didn’t know any of the new faces here.

Then I exited the auction house and came to the area of the cab platform, the words of Master Ann ringing in my ears. I should go back and practice the Healing Hand.

I approached the cab driver and asked him to take me back to Star University.

A few minutes later,

The cab departed from the place. I was in the back seat, watching the passing views. The little tour came to an end. Next, I should focus on healing practice.
