Faction Leader Francesca landed on the terrace of her office. I landed beside her, then looked around at the surroundings. From here, the territory of the bloodline faction was clear.

"So, when did you come back?" Faction Leader Francesca asked, looking at the territory.

"Elder, I returned yesterday," I replied.

"So how were things at the boundary?" she asked.

Hearing that, I was taken aback. I didn’t expect her to mention the boundary.

Francesca saw through Zack Lockwood’s reaction.

She said, "I heard from Stella. You fought against the Dead Fang and defeated it. Then everyone was given the option to relocate to another boundary."

"Stella told me that she wanted to stay back to help you. But since everyone was moving out, she realized her strength alone was not enough and that she might hinder you."

"So she moved along with the others," Francesca said.

Hearing that, I smiled and replied, "She made the right decision. I didn’t want danger to befall her."

"Not only her. I saw a few other seniors who wanted to help me out, but it’s good that they made the right decision," I added.

Francesca sighed in relief. She was worried that Zack Lockwood would misunderstand her disciple.

"So what happened to the boundary next?"

"I received a message that Boundary No. 5 is no longer functional," she said.

Hearing that, I was surprised. I didn’t expect Dean Jerome to work this fast. The foreign creatures must have been surprised. They cannot break the solid barrier anymore.

"Dean Jerome brought me outside. He must have other plans for me," I said.

Hearing that, Francesca didn’t feel any doubt. She thought the Dead Fang appeared because of Zack Lockwood.

If he had continued to stay there in Boundary No. 5, things could have become much more dangerous.

"You have to become stronger. I believe you have a chance to go beyond the Red Mark Level. The bloodline power of the Clan Ancestor is stronger in you. You might reach the level of the Ancestor with or without the bloodline," Francesca gave a high evaluation.

Hearing that, I remained quiet this time because I understood the real threat of the foreign creatures. They have so many elite races on their side.

The ordinary foreign creatures are already giving us a headache.

What if the foreign creatures decided to unleash the elite races upon the warrior camps and the boundary?

Francesca saw that something was bothering Zack Lockwood.

She asked, "What happened?"

"If you want to share something, you can tell me. You are part of the clan as well," she added.

A quick flash appeared in my eyes.

I nodded and said, "I have fought against elite races both in the warrior camps and at the boundary. I’m wondering what would happen if the creatures let the elite races enter the warrior camps and the boundary."

A small smile appeared on Francesca’s face.

"I had a similar doubt when I was younger. Then I came to know that the powerhouses on the human side are stronger, though they are fewer in number."

"They are like you, they can fight across ranks. Their ancient inheritance force is powerful. If the foreign creatures break the agreement, then the powerhouses will cause much more damage to them." After saying that, she fell silent.

A flicker of sadness appeared on her face.

I saw her reaction. I knew there was much more to it. If the human side powerhouses were that strong, they would have driven away the invading foreign creatures long ago.

Francesca then noticed Zack Lockwood.

She said, "I know what you are thinking right now. There are difficulties on our side as well, but I don’t know what those difficulties are exactly. The clan elders didn’t share much information with me."

Hearing that, I was taken aback. I looked at her and asked, "You are the clan leader?"

"Yes, but I’m not a Red Mark Warrior. I’m only a Half-Step Red Mark Warrior. You need at least the strength of a Red Mark Warrior to know confidential information," she said.

Hearing that, my doubts were cleared. No wonder everyone knows limited information.

Then we spoke about other things. In particular, she asked about the bloodline visualization method. I told her that my progress was steady.

"I don’t know how to help you next, because I can already feel a sense of crisis coming from you. Even though you controlled it, I can still feel it because of the bloodline," she said jokingly.

I raised my eyebrows in surprise. I didn’t expect her to figure it out using the bloodline power.

"I think you will reach the Half-Step Red Mark soon. Should we make your identity public that you are a member of our clan?" she asked.

"No," I rejected immediately.

"Don’t worry, I’m joking. If the foreign creatures learned the truth, they would attack the clan," Francesca said.

"I don’t mind revealing my identity, but I want to grow stronger before doing that," I replied.

Hearing that, Francesca felt relieved. She realized Zack Lockwood didn’t hate the clan because of what happened to his parents.

"If you have any doubts, you can ask me," she said.

"I want to know about the clan’s founding ancestor. How did he become stronger?" I asked.

Hearing that, Francesca smiled and started sharing what she knew.

10 minutes later,

Francesca received a call from the main elders; they needed help with something. Seeing that, I decided not to disturb her anymore.

"Elder, you can continue with your work. I’ll meet you later," I said to her.

"Good," she said.

Next, I left the office under her gaze. It didn’t take long for me to leave the territory and land on the footpath outside.

Then I continued roaming around the campus. I visited the vehicle parking area. From there, vehicles were heading to Star City.

Seeing that, I decided to take a quick ride to Star City. I would be back before midnight.

Dean Jerome knew of Zack Lockwood’s activities. Seeing Zack Lockwood revisiting the old places, he sighed.

He knew Zack Lockwood came from an outpost, but he was connected to the bloodline of Ancestor Ball, so he was part of the Ball Clan as well.

He had seen Francesca and Zack Lockwood earlier. Now, seeing Zack Lockwood heading to Star City, he didn’t want to disturb his activities and returned his focus to his work.
