The cab driver dropped me at the parking area inside the campus. I exited the cab and paid the fare to the driver.

Then I used the flight ability to go to the Thunderflame Faction. While I was flying over different buildings, everyone was surprised.

Many Black Mark Warriors and Silver Mark Warriors on the ground saw it. They thought it could be some elder.

Normally, only the faction leaders and the main elders were allowed to use the flight ability.

On the other hand, some main elders noticed someone was flying over the buildings, but they didn’t bother checking. They thought it could be another elder.

Whereas the Faction Leaders, they didn’t pay attention, including the faction leaders of the medium- and small-sized factions.

"Zack, I told the faction leader and other Main Elders about your return. They are ready to meet you tomorrow," Austin said on the call.

"Master, I have some other work. Master Ann wanted my assistance in healing a patient," I replied.

"I heard about it from her. That’s why the meeting is going to be in the evening," Austin said.

"If it’s in the evening, then it’s okay," I replied.

"If you want, you can use the essence chamber here. It’s available. No one is using it right now," Austin said.

"Alright, I will come there in a few minutes," I said to him.

After ending the call, I went inside. I freshened up and took a ten minute break.

Then I left the residence and headed towards the Golden Lightning Palace. On the way, I came across some members.

I simply nodded to them. They nodded back to me in response. I quickly reached the Golden Lightning Palace.

I opened the gate and went inside. I spread my mental power and covered the place. I found no one inside. I knew the warriors wouldn’t leave the training area easily.

I thought it was related to Master Austin; he must have asked the others to vacate early.

I shook my head before heading towards the essence chamber. Soon, I got there. I found a similar training area and essence chamber facility next to it.

I walked inside the facility and found that all the rooms were available. I opened the one that I had often used during my time here.

Thud!

The door behind me shut automatically. I turned on the switch.

The energy from the inlet began to fill the room. It didn’t take long for the energy to completely fill the room.

I came to the middle and sat cross-legged on the ground. Then I took the white flower plant out.

I knew I had to consume the white flower petals. I plucked them one by one and ate them. I immediately felt a cold energy entering my body.

I closed my eyes and began to run the old healing method taught by the old healer back at the Saw Scale Viper Academy.

The cold energy flowed through my body. I guided the energy into the new route. The healing energy from the plant got separated and entered my body.

I guided the healing energy along with the cold energy into the new route. The combination of the two energies fused without rejection. It came as a pleasant surprise.

After circulation, the fused energy settled down inside the dantian, where the space for healing energy was already present.

I continued to repeat the process. It didn’t take long for the plant energy to settle down within the healing energy.

Next, I shifted my attention to executing the healing hand. It had been a long time since I had used the healing hand.

I had last used it in the Tier-5 region and at the Saw Scale Viper Academy. I didn’t expect the healing hand to be needed now.

Since Master Ann had asked me, I had to be ready for tomorrow. Slowly, the healing energy reached up to my right arm.

Then the healing energy reached my right hand. I tried to maintain it for a longer time. I was a Purple Mark Warrior now, so I took control of the healing hand faster. I didn’t have to struggle like the previous times.

But the real test would be tomorrow: I had to destroy or remove the dark energy from their bodies.

Dean Jerome got the news about Zack Lockwood’s schedule for tomorrow. Knowing that Master Ann was under pressure, he understood why she wanted Zack Lockwood to use his healing element to cure others.

Jerome fell silent. He knew the elders had given three days’ time to the kid. One day was already over. There were only two more days to go.

He thought of giving a break to the kid, but he knew that the situation at the clinic was dire. He was going to see whether Zack Lockwood could handle tomorrow.

He had seen Zack Lockwood slaying foreign creatures, but he hadn’t seen him using healing energy to save someone.
