Chapter 1563: Third Elite Race (Thorn Reaper)

Black Planet

The foreign creature side is having a meeting. They are discussing which elite race to send next. They can’t ask the Horned Humanoids and the Dead Fangs.

It didn’t take long for them to come to a conclusion. Everyone had the third strongest elite group in mind. They are called the "Thorn Reapers."

This foreign creature is similar to the venomous snakes found in the human region. Yet, the power and scale of the creature are completely different.

Inside one of the hidden dungeons of the planet, a Thorn Reaper has occupied the entire space of the dungeon.

The head of the creature was over 4 meters in size, and its length extends up to 50 meters. The skin of the beast was like hardened rock, with spikes protruding from its body.

There is a single horn-like spike extending from the head of the creature. It lives inside the dungeon alone.

The dungeon space cannot afford for another creature to live here.

The other foreign creatures that trespassed here were all eaten by the Thorn Reaper. Yet, its hunger was still not satisfied.

From time to time, the higher-ups would send food to satisfy its hunger. But what could be a better place than the human battlefield?

The higher-ups have unanimously decided to send the Thorn Reaper to Boundary No. 5. If such a creature were sent to the battlefield, it would turn the battlefield upside down.

If it entered the boundary, the results would be the same. But there is a variable. That variable is called Zack Lockwood.

Zack Lockwood had previously slain the Horned Humanoid. They were suspicious that he was the one who killed the Dead Fang as well.

They only got the facts from word of mouth. No one had witnessed it themselves, so they don’t have a clear idea of Zack Lockwood’s true strength.

The foreign creatures keep setting limits, but every time, Zack Lockwood surpasses those limits, so much so that the higher-ups have forgotten about the other boundaries.

Their sole focus was to eliminate Zack Lockwood. It didn’t take long for the meeting to end. The Thorn Reapers live in dungeons all over their black planet.

Their representatives went to the nearest dungeon. They are as strong as a human Purple Mark Warrior, but the Thorn Reaper possesses strength similar to a Half-Step Red Mark Warrior.

This time, the Foreign Creature side got a chance to test the limits of their target. They were sure that Zack Lockwood wouldn’t survive the attacks of a Half-Step Red Mark Level creature.

When the Horned Humanoids and Dead Fangs learned about the decision, they weren’t too shocked because the Thorn Reapers are the third strongest among them.

However, they were surprised by the fact that the higher-ups were sending a Half-Step Red Mark Level foreign creature. They were all eager to know whether the target would survive this time or not.

...

Boundary No. 5

On a new day, I appeared outside for a walk again. This time, I noticed the presence of fewer members.

It appears many warriors had left the boundary while I was training. But I’m not surprised. None of them could withstand an attack from the Dead Fang.

I’m alive because of the ancient inheritances I carry. Even if I didn’t have more than one inheritance, it’s hard to tell whether I would have survived the attack.

Multiple inheritance combinations worked out well for me. Just as I was walking along the footpath, I heard a noise.

I think an argument was going on between the warriors. I rushed to the spot and saw a small group of warriors.

"Let me go. I don’t want to be here on the boundary!" a broad-shouldered warrior said to his friend.

"Don’t be mad. We are not allowed to leave. If everyone leaves, then Zack Lockwood will be all alone here. Dean Jerome won’t allow that," a female warrior replied.

Seeing that the conversation was about me, I was surprised. I saw that they were from the elemental factions, so I didn’t go near them to disturb them.

I wanted to know what was going on, so I continued watching them.

"If not for that b@stard, my friends would have survived!" the broad-shouldered warrior cried out again.

The friends around him were shocked. They didn’t expect such an outburst from their friend.

"Where is he?"

"I’m going to find him and drag him out of the boundary. Either he leaves the base, or we should all leave," the warrior said in a threatening tone again.

After saying that, he walked out of the group. Next, his gaze fell on Zack Lockwood. His anger flared up, and his eyes reddened with rage.

"You?"

"How dare you come here?"

the warrior yelled before charging at the target.

Gasp!

A commotion occurred. The other warriors noticed Zack Lockwood as well. Their expressions changed drastically. They knew about the strength of Zack Lockwood.

They knew their friend was seeking death right now.

Swoosh!

A wind blade appeared in the hands of the warrior. He had totally lost his mind, his eyes filled with revenge.

At the same time, I sighed inwardly. I could tell that the wind elemental warrior was negatively impacted. All I did was try to save them.

But he didn’t expect the foreign creatures to send such a terrifying creature at that time.

In the blink of an eye, the warrior appeared in front of him and attacked with the wind blade.

Swoosh!

I side-stepped to avoid the wind blades. The wind blades passed through the empty air. Right then, I touched his shoulder and knocked him out.

Boom!

His body received the impact force and fell down to the ground. His body made a heavy landing as the shock force spread across the ground.

Pfff!

The warrior coughed up blood. It was just a simple knock, yet he crashed into the ground with great force.

The hard impact cleared his head. Before he could get up, his friends arrived and helped him up.

They all looked at Zack Lockwood. If Zack Lockwood had attacked seriously, their friend would have suffered a fatal injury.
