The news about the record set by Zack Lockwood reached everyone, including the heirs of the warrior families.

An heir of a powerful warrior family close to Silver University was pissed off by the rumors. His name was Max, and he was a Purple Mark Warrior.

He was slightly older than Zack Lockwood. He possessed the silver element with a powerful attribute variant.

Not only that, his inheritance was also in the Ancient Inheritance category with the silver element.

His father was a Half-Step Red Mark Warrior, and his family had produced more than one powerhouse above the Red Mark.

So, he took the rumors personally as an insult. When he tried to find the source of the rumors, he couldn’t find it. The rumors seemed to have started simply because of the comparison.

His anger then turned toward Zack Lockwood. If Zack Lockwood hadn’t set such a big record, the comparison wouldn’t have arisen.

Also, he was curious about Zack Lockwood’s strength. He knew how tough the Puppet Hall Training was.

It was hard to clear even the easy mode because the ten Red Mark Puppets were at their peak strength, whereas the challenger would be exhausted after each fight. So, it was not easy.

Max decided to meet him. Similarly, he thought there were others like him who would also like to meet Zack Lockwood.

After eating, I decided to rest. I turned off the big screen and lay down on the sofa.

Time passed.

I woke up after some time. I entered the essence chamber to practice and recover the inheritance force in my dantian.

Because of the special energy, my comprehension increased. I gained a good understanding of each ancient inheritance.

Just like the purple lightning film, I intended to gain a new concept in the other ancient inheritance forces as well.

Several hours later,

I walked out of the essence chamber. I had made some improvement, but it would require a few more sessions.

However, I had fully recovered the inheritance force in my dantian. Then, I went to the bathroom to take a shower.

Later, I lay down in bed and rested.

At midnight, something happened. The whole city was awakened by an alarm.

The alarm inside the room started buzzing. Hearing that, I opened my eyes in confusion and looked at the clock. It was nighttime.

I felt my own device buzzing. I took the device out and checked the message; it was from the administration.

I opened the message and read it.

"Battle," I uttered in shock.

Next, I got out of bed and began to put on my battle suit. There were boots and gloves as well, but I didn’t wear gloves.

A few minutes later,

I left the room and went to the elevator. I saw a group of warriors waiting for the lift to open. It was the first time I had seen my flatmates here.

They were all Red Mark Warriors, including both male and female warriors.

They were surprised by my appearance.

"Zack Lockwood," one of them said.

Hearing that, I nodded.

Gasp!

A low exclamation sounded. Everyone seemed to recognize me; it was because of the news.

"The elevator is taking too long. Let’s use the window." After saying that, a middle-aged man walked up to the window and opened the large frame.

Next, he used a flight ability to leave.

Seeing that, the others followed suit. They began to leave through the window. One by one, the group of warriors left the area.

It didn’t take long for the place to become empty.

I decided to follow them; they were going to the battlefield as well.

Swoosh!

In a flash, I left through the window. I saw that the others were heading in the same direction. By following them, I could reach the battlefield.

I moved through midair. It didn’t take long for me to find the place, because there was a huge sea ahead of me and everyone was flying toward it.

I remembered that person telling me we were in the middle of an ocean. I shouldn’t have dismissed the old man’s words.

After reaching the shore, some warriors landed on the ground, while others continued forward.

Next, I looked around and found two Red Mark Warriors moving ahead of me. I caught up to them and asked about the battlefield.

The two warriors didn’t recognize me, but they saw through my Purple Mark strength.

So one of them said, "You appear to be new to this place."

Hearing that, I nodded.

"Then follow us quietly," he said.

I nodded and began to follow them. They too landed on the ground after reaching the shore. I touched down and followed close behind.

They entered the sea like the others. Seeing that, I entered the water next without hesitation.

It was my first time moving underwater, but I was managing well. Not only that, my vision wasn’t hindered. I swept my gaze across and saw other warriors moving ahead underwater.

I followed behind the two warriors ahead of me. Soon, I saw a space crack in the sea. The warriors were entering the spatial rift formed in the water.

One of the Red Mark Warriors turned around and said, "It’s the entrance to the Secret Land Battlefield. You will be teleported out to the same spot, if you make it out alive."

Hearing that, I thanked the Red Mark Warrior. They entered the black space crack and disappeared from sight.

Swoosh!

Trusting them, I entered the space crack as well. Everything around me turned black. I couldn’t sense anything except that I was falling.

A few minutes later,

My feet touched the ground. I immediately activated my perception. My mental power spread across the surroundings.

Information about the plants, rocks, and uneven terrain flooded my mind, but I found no signs of living beings. Sensing that, I took a deep breath to calm my mind.

Since it was a secret land battlefield, I expected powerful foreign creatures. But first, I had to find a way out of this area. I began to look for a path forward.
