Chapter 60. 7th floor
Wilmora Henry was in a good mood.
Currently, she was on the seventh floor of the gravity tower on the second floor of the first training hall.
She was currently floating above a massive ocean.
"I still can’t clear the seventh floor, even as of now. And my time is also up. x32 gravity is really no joke. And the clear conditions are insane. To think I’d respawn over 30 times. But at least, I managed to set some records. It’s an achievement to be proud of. Such an achievement will be helpful when I run for student council president in my fourth year. Oh, my time is up."
Before she could do anything, she turned into motes of light.
Her eyes opened in the VR room. She took off the VR helmet and stood up.
"Damn, the mental strain of the VR space is something else. Because of the 89 percent reality simulation, even death is so realistic. I need to rest for a few days before I can challenge the tower again," she said as she walked out of the room.
When she stepped outside, the large lounge close to the VR rooms was crowded with over 500 students.
All of them were in second year or upwards.
"Must be because of my records," Wilmora thought.
She felt very proud of herself.
She walked there, ready to bask in the spotlight.
However, when she arrived, she was not the one on the screens.
"This Aiden Vhorn is too terrifying."
"He cleared the fourth floor in five minutes and the fifth floor in just 7 minutes!"
"Heh. From the first floor up to the fifth floor, he has shattered all of Wilmora’s records. He’s an absolute monster."
"How terrifying will he be in a few months time."
Wilmora listened, rooted in shock.
Clearing the first floor in 5 seconds.
Clearing the second floor in 3 seconds.
Clearing the third floor in 3 seconds.
Clearing the fourth floor in 5 minutes.
Clearing the fifth floor in 7 minutes.
How the hell was this even possible?
She did not believe it.
She payed with contribution points. Then she watched the videos of Aiden Vhorn climbing the tower.
Reality hit her. Denial flew out of her mind.
Who the hell was this Aiden Vhorn?
Will the record he had set be even be beaten by anyone in the future?
"To think I was proud of myself for my accomplishment," she shook her head.
"This guy is simply something else. As expected of the crimson reaper. He cannot be viewed with common sense," Wilmora thought.
"Let’s see if he can manage to clear the sixth floor and the seventh floor. Even though he’s a monster, the higher floors are on another level. I have no doubts he can clear the sixth floor and the seventh floor. There’s no way I will understand someone like that. However, I’m not sure he can set a record on the seventh floor, even if he’s able to clear it. No one has been able to break Grand Marshall Armstrong Lee’s record," she thought.
"Look, Wilmora is here."
"She’s extremely shocked."
"It’s only natural. Who would not be shocked."
"Aiden Vhorn is simply on another level."
"What.... He just cleared the sixth floor in 10 minutes!"
"Look, he’s ranked 1000 on the Heavenly Ascension ranking list now!"
"How is this...."
"I don’t even know what to think anymore."
"This...." Wilmora’s words were caught up in her throat. She did not even know what to think of Aiden Vhorn anymore. Her perception of the world genius had been completely overturned.
What was happening had caused a big uproar on campus.
Many tweeted to their friends to watch what Aiden Vhorn was doing from their various locations.
Naturally, those who were not busy with personal matters watched it.
They were extremely shocked.

Aiden stood on the sea.
He was currently on the seventh floor.
A weight unlike any other thing he had felt bore down on him, slamming him into the sea.
Aiden shot out of the sea after forming crimson wings on his back to defy the gravity. Even with that, it was not easy. The weight bearing down on him was not easy to bear.
Those watching were not surprised. The seventh floor to the tenth floor were on another level.
The gravity amplification on these floors were something else.
"This gravity is on another level. It will take a while to adapt," Aiden thought.
[Clear conditions to proceed to the next floor. Defeat the avatar of the previous clear record holder]
"The previous record holder is Grand Marshall Armstrong Lee, one of the 100 legendary rank 1 warriors on Endra," Aiden thought.
"Fighting his avatar will be very beneficial. It will be a great way to hone myself in combat."
Blobs of his blood formed crimson armor on his back. A spear appeared in his hand as he waited for the avatar of the strongest man in the Eldorath Empire to appear.

Somewhere in Derulo City University.
In a large villa on a snowy peak.
Pamela and Cosmo were seated on a couch, cuddling and eating some snacks.
Suddenly, their phones buzzed with notifications.
Cosmo curiously tapped on it.
"The kid is clearing the gravity tower on the second floor of a training hall," he said. "His speed is extremely absurd."
"Nothing less to expect from that monster," Pamela sighed. "Let me see the recordings."
The duo watched the videos of Aiden from the first floor to the sixth floor.
They stared at the screens in shock.
"How will anyone be able to beat this record in the future?" Cosmo said.
"Do you remember what my dad said when the Grand Marshall was a student?" Pamela said.
"It’s the same thing I’m saying now right. I remember your old man said that everyone thought the grand marshall’s record would remain unbeaten. Several people came to beat his records from the first floor to the sixth floor," Cosmo said.
"Yeah.. but the record he set on the seventh floor has been left unbeaten by anyone after he graduated. Many have cleared the seventh to tenth floor. But not with his speed. The old man also said that during the Grand Marshal’s time on campus, the person whose avatar the Grand Marshal fought on the seventh floor was the old man," Pamela said. "At the time no one thought Armstrong could fulfill the clear conditions quickly. But he did. I have a feeling we are about to witness something similar now. Aiden Vhorn, I’m sure he will become more terrifying than the Grand Marshall in the future if nothing untoward happens to him."
"Indeed. It seems you demonstrated you have his back," Cosmo said.
"Yeah. But I don’t intend to coddle him. Aiden Vhorn is someone who values freedom. He has rejected every offer of every society on campus. That should say enough about him," Pamela said. "He prefers to walk his path. That means he understands that his battles are his own even if connections deter some threats from him. He may appreciate having a connection with me, but it will be disrespectful of me to think I should fight his battles for him," Pamela said.
"Is that why you have not informed your father about him yet?" Cosmo said.
"Yeah. It’s too early to inform him about Aiden. He will naturally come to know Aiden through Aiden’s feats," Pamela said. "I initially had plans of recommending Aiden as one of the representatives of Derulo City University for the National Warrior’s University competitions next year after observing him for a while. But I’ve decided not to recommend him. The old man himself will approach the kid. Being recognized naturally by the old man for his own efforts is better."
"I couldn’t agree more," Cosmo said. He was also thinking along the same lines.
"Look, the Grand Marshal’s avatar is appearing," Pamela said.
The duo chewed some popcorn, eyes glued to their screen.
