Ashes and Kingdoms

5-7. One Separation

It was also impossible for those who were pushed within the walls of Winnea to rise feeling freed by the arrival of the merchant ship. We were informed that the world was spread out and the empire still existed where we could travel only to the extent that we could during the day, and where the life of the island was the same, with eyes and hands.

The atmosphere of the citizens was changed and distrust of the Tenryu Hou was lightly dispelled. Taz and Finn are friends, so for some reason, Finn brought the merchant ship to Winnea.

The people of the city, who became loving as soon as possible, couldn't help but shudder that it was a cash thing, but still it must have been a thankful change. Legion soldiers became cooperative again, and it was only this time that they heard Finn's words properly.

The defense of the walls made the day a little easier but easier on the border.

It was common for them to fall unconsciously back and forth at the same time as the dawn, but they all began to return to the barracks. The extent of the injuries was also slightly lighter.

Corps soldiers weren't the only ones who felt the change.

The peasants who leave every day for the surrounding fields also noticed it.

The acres I woke up the day before are still in shape for the most part the next day. More than half of the germinated seedlings have grown safely. Prey remains properly in rabbit traps and nets set on streams.

Could...

Such whispers became exchanged, and little by little among the citizens, the status of the falling dragon marquis began to revert back to normal. Unlike the first enthusiasm, by a calmer trust.

People's faces also get clearer so that they follow the moon, which brightens round every night. Eventually, a decisive night arrived.

The dark beast finally did not show up that night, illuminated by the glorious full moon.

The next morning, the festivities had already begun early. When the news came from the legion soldiers to the citizens, no longer did anyone try to get to work that day, but opened the seal of wine even though it was not long after the sun rose, raising the toast in the square and on the side of the road.

"Congratulations."

Walt blurted as he descended from the walls and returned to the barracks. Finn, too, though I agreed, the knobs are warm.

"It's been shrinking inside the walls for a long time. You can be happy when you're happy.... Nevertheless, there are similarities between humans and their dark relatives."

"What?

He seriously suspected it was a mistake to hear, and Valt glanced at him. Finn looks across the city completely festival-stained and shakes his head small.

"It works in the atmosphere, not in words. It won't change easily until that atmosphere is transmitted throughout, and once stained, again, it won't hold its teeth immediately. The larger the population, the duller the movements and changes. I confess it now, but until Taz's ship arrived, I was really worried he'd kick out of the city."

"Getting kicked out?" Plast snorted. "You're raw. I thought I'd be slaughtered by the townsfolk and the legions soon. I've been talking to Valt about when we're gonna get out of here."

Ugh. The twins aligned and leaked a voice that seemed to vomit.

"That kind of noisy consultation."

"You have to keep us well informed."

"Survive with your own talent"

Plast is not cheerful. Wow, terrible, the twins protest verbally. Finn laughed bitterly, but was glad he didn't have to struggle to get over it. Valt looked at such a frivolous look at Finn, but when the twins stopped making noise, he said after doing one stretch.

"Either way, it's time to sail your ass and get away with it."

"What?

Now Finn listens back. Valt glanced over his shoulder with a waking face.

"As you said, the people here have stained one color again. Long live the Dragon Marquis. You think Ancius would be happy?

"It... won't please you," he recalled a quick act after reuniting, and Finn became sinister. "He's not like Dilgius. You won't do anything extreme. Either way, we're not staying here."

When I finished, the complicated air drifted among my people. Oh, and Finn raises his eyebrows.

"Who wants to stay here?

There was no one to raise his hand to the boulder, but with an ambiguous attitude some looked at each other, and something snapped.

"I was wondering if I could relax a little..."

"Until it's a little warmer"

Next, until the earth dries wet with snow melt, I guess I'll tell you. Finn looked to heaven and begged the gods for help.

"Right. It's time to make a good decision. Of course, it doesn't mean we're leaving in a few days. If the moon gets thinner again, or if the weather is bad, they'll push, and they're not in a state where they're pushed to leave it to Ancius and the legions to do the rest. There is no guarantee that it can be replenished by sea. So it'll still be a while before we leave... but if you want to stay in Winnea, I can't stop you"

So he looked around at his people again. One or two people look away in a bad way. I guess what I said with a little reluctance didn't intend to develop until I left. Finn smiled a little bitterly.

"Nothing, I'm not gonna blame you. Ever since I became a powderer in my accomplishments, or since you joined me in support at Comlis even though I didn't really know what was going on, it's been a tough fight so far, no one has left me alone. Enough. Everyone will have a place where they want to settle down and a home where they want to get back. Think about the future."

As relieved by the serene tone, the crew breathes in relief. Plast said unconstructively.

"I'm coming with you. If we're going to rebuild Nanais, we won't be able to talk about it unless there's one guy who knows how to build a house."

"You don't have to hurry."

Finn said, but Plast just clapped his shoulders. I just don't have a substitute, it was just a nasty trick. Valt also scratches his jaw, right, and snaps.

"I can't go back to Tetna yet. Hey, I don't have a job to stay in Winnea. But I don't know how to stick to Dragon Marquis's ass. What's going on?"

"Well, think slowly"

It was a matter of art, or Finn responded with a bitter smile, when one of the citizens in the square acknowledged the Tenryu squad and cheered. You're already drunk, I envy you, and the crew pulls over and turns around. One voice after the other, fists and hands raised high.

"Long live Lady Dragon Hou Phineas! Long live the Northern Tenryu Squad!!

The voice of the crowd begins to repeat one verse at a time. No, the fins were so completely surrounded that they didn't even make it to leave the scene.

"Dear Phineas! Dear Phineas!!

An enthusiastic cry calls him. When Finn, whose back was twisted by Valt, took a few steps, he saw it as coming forward, and the applause boiled. When Finn looks around the hedge confused, his voice quiets down, expecting him to say something.

Finn, who stopped going a little, did a little blue eye to heaven, and then coughed up one more thing.

"I'll say no first, but they say I'm a 'genius who bores things'. It's the worst candidate to speak on a booming occasion like this, but don't resent me if I remind you"

I laugh more and more at Dragon Hou, who said that seriously. Mac covered his face with one hand. Finn laughed bitterly and spoke unconsciously turning Lena's light against people.

"It is true that the Dark Families did not attack us last night. But this isn't all over. They will appear again on moonless nights, and nearby fields and ranches remain desolate. Villages along the streets have also, many of them, been abandoned. We still have to rebuild those small towns and villages from now on. If Winnea is the only one who's safe, that's not the end of it."

Are you going to go, or are you going to be abandoned - the crowd squeals at the twinkle of anxiety. Finn got a strong tone, as he encouraged.

"There is Commander Ancius in this town. Even without the power of the dragon, he has kept himself safe and done everything he could to keep you from starving. Please continue to cooperate with the Commander - with each other. Even if the threat of the Dark Beast is thin, it doesn't change the need for everyone to help each other. Instead of repeating the arrogance and stupidity of the time of the war, now is the time to build genuine peace and security in this north"

That was how he closed and thanked him with his right hand against his left chest at the sign of the end. Boiling applause and cheer again. Sent to Hail Voice, Finn and the others followed the square.

"You looked great, brother."

Mac pokes small and Finn looks lightheaded and odd.

"It's Lord Islev's sale. I'm not really good at this sort of thing."

"Heh," Valt laughed with his nose. Long live the Dragon Marquis, huh?

It was a complicated voice for mere annoyance. Finn just pays you back, and I'll slap you on the back of Valt.

"Yeah. But it's not just me, it's a compliment addressed to all of us. That's why I can honestly take it."

"What do you think? I don't feel bad, and unlike Dragon Marquis, you don't have to take a seat, so shut up and be praised."

Valt turned back his hatred in a hurry, and, uh, he made a huge stretch.

"Oh boy, you've eaten so much. Let's just go back and get some sleep. There's no guarantee they won't be here again tonight."

The crew changed their faces to very commonly spoken words. Yes, it's not over yet. Tomorrow, the day after tomorrow, and all the way ahead, the battle against the Dark Families over the earthly territory will continue.

Finn felt everyone's stiffness and thanked Valt with his eyes. You know what I mean or not, they just blurted out and whispered their ears.

(Well, you mean this is always the same)

Finn laughed bitterly as he gave up, coughed up and deceived.
