At the Northern Fort

Exercise of the fort (1)

A few days after I found out that Mr. Rekka was apparently afraid of dark spots.

The fairies I created that night still hadn't disappeared, and even during the day they floated next to Mr. Rekka, so I didn't have to create new fairies every night.

"Thank you, Master Mill. It's very comforting to have a fairy on you."

"If my power has stood, I will be glad"

The fairies I've created have been too free because they didn't give me a mission.

Everyone at the fort seemed to wonder why Mr. Rekka had a fairy stuck around, but he convinced me "heh" with my apt explanation of "because I got connected".

I don't really care about the details of everyone like that, I like it.

But it feels like I really miss it. Looks like I was glad they told me it was beautiful that night.

But now Mr. Rekka could be with the fairy in grandeur, and I wish I could have slept well, even though I was tired at night without overdoing the muscle tread.

Plus during the night security, he said he didn't have to squat every certain hour to calm down and punch into work.

If that's what you've been doing all this time before you came to the northern fort, then you can muscle it, too.

The strength of Mr. Rekka's sword punching is, of course, the fruit of his usual training, but there must be some impact from the muscle tread he was trying to alleviate his dark spot phobia.

The fairy light is not strong enough to illuminate everything brightly, so I was hoping that Mr. Lecca would get used to the thin light at this rate, and that any of them would be fine without the fairy.

And today, Mr. Rekka also had a good night's sleep and a simulation exercise was to be held at the fort while he was in good health.

Apparently, we split up into teams that defend the fort and attack.

"Seki Cancer Kishiki! Good morning."

"It's almost noon, but good morning, Mill"

I moved out of my residence at the start time of the exercise I was hearing about yesterday and looked around where I was held up by a ship-eyed knight.

The knights were all aligned in the front of the fort, but they all looked vicious all the time.

It's not that I'm in a bad mood, but rather the other way around, and I seem to have a belligerent look because I'm excited about the mock exercise. We all know each other, but which bandit is it? He looks horrible enough to think about it.

In the meantime, I take my gaze off the knights with the beastly expression and look in turn around the fun kicks as usual and the slightly nervous Tina and Fairy on her shoulders, as well as the cool-faced branch leader, and reaffirm that this is a fort in the north, not a bandit's Azito.

At the time of my arrival, Mr Branch Leader was in the process of standing before everyone and explaining the rules of this exercise. Looks like we've had a couple of similar exercises in the past, but since the last time, there's been some free time, and some of you just came to the north fort, so I guess you're welcome.

Listening to the explanation together, I found out that the Knight of the Ship Eye team was the role of an enemy that had attacked the fort, and that it seemed to be set that Mr. Branch Leader's team would defend it.

As a matter of fact, there are no sturdy fences in the northern fortifications to protect the fortifications and no moats to prevent enemy incursions. And that was like thinking about the climate in this snowy area.

When you make a tall fence, you can shadow, and that's all the snow won't melt for long, and even if it melts, it makes it harder for the water to flow out.

That would flood the property and also make walking dangerous if it freezes. I'm stable on four legs and have a low head position, but sometimes humans just fall and die.

And the lack of moats seems to be due to the risk of falling because of the difficulty in understanding the boundaries when a lot of snow accumulates.

There has been little history of enemy forces attacking or anything like that, and it is sometimes considered a relatively safe place to face the border, so I wonder if we have prioritized the winter safety of the knights who work here.

As a result, the north fort is just surrounded by iron fences that I can easily break into, but for that matter the inside of the fort is intrusive and easy to get lost, and the passages and corridors are narrow and hard to fight.

But that means it's hard for these knights to fight, so they do simulation exercises, assuming they get attacked in the fort like this sometimes.

Mr Branch Leader said with his voice up so that everyone could hear him.

"This time I changed my decision to win or lose. Our defense hides the mill in my office on the top floor, but the offensive side wins if they can open the door to that room. And the defense will win if they defend the mill without taking it away."

It seems more morale than no loot, even if that was a child fox, and everyone says, "Whoa!," he said, raising his voice. You're wearing knightly clothes, but you just seem excited about the bandits in front of the treasure.

By the way, I already heard about this yesterday, so it is a good place to serve as a loot.

Nothing dangerous for me, I just need to slow down in the room.

Even when the attack team arrives, the battle will never be fought in the space where I am because we will win when the door is opened, as explained by Mr. Branch Leader.

Mr. Branch Leader said to take the knights even more seriously.

"And the losing team is forbidden to make contact with the mill for five days"

As I say, I am relieved by my words.

"Yep!

Booing occurs simultaneously from the knights. If someone you don't know at all sees, they might think you're doing a joke exercise. But everyone's face is serious.

Mr. Branch Leader wears an ice mask and narrows his eyes cold.

"What complaints? If you don't like no contact, you can win. That's all."

"Ugh! Absolutely win!

The roar rises everywhere. Mr. Rekka was also in the air, holding one hand up and screaming with everyone else. Okay or bad, you've been staining the atmosphere of the northern fort step by step.

"The exercise starts in fifteen minutes. Until then, prepare according to each commander."

When Mr Branch Leader said so, everyone began to travel with a rough nose.

Meanwhile, when Mr. Branch Leader walks over here once, he offers his hands to the Ship Eye Knight.

"Give me the mill."

Briefly, I saw the knight with the eye of a ship.

The knight of the ship's eye also returns just a second to Mr. Branch Leader before handing me over. That's how you stroke your head,

"Later. I'll definitely go get it."

And he went out of the fort.

The Knight of the Ship Eye team appears to be launching an attack from outside the fence.

"Seki Cancer Kiki, That's Cool"

Look up and ask Mr Branch Leader to agree.

"You're asking me that?

Mr. Branch Leader looked troubled before continuing.

"I regret it, but you do. But today I'm gonna stop Grail."

Declaring so, Mr. Branch Leader enters the fort building with me in his arms.

"Speaking of which, what about Woodbaum? If you're out there, you won't."

"I'm fine. I've already had it moved to the office."

"Good for you."

And as the chief of the branch said, Woodbaum was sitting on the carpet as he entered the large office.

"Hey, Mill. It's an exercise today. I hope no one gets hurt badly."

"Yeah, really."

When Mr. Branch Leader puts me on the desk at the window, he instructs Woodbaum not to move off the spot either.

"This room is safe, but don't go near the door. Maybe we can open up momentum."

"Okay. Be careful."

"Oh."

Mr. Branch Leader grinned lightly and kissed my forehead.

And he goes out into the hallway, saying, "I'm in front of the door."

Looking at him afterwards, the chief of the branch kissed him, and yesterday he also gave a hot kiss to Gregorio of the Kowamote Corps, which I thought.
