Bound to the eldritch Sea: SSS-Tier Navigator

Chapter 141: Setting the Trap

Kevin looked at the two items — [Holy Spring Essence] and [Goddess Tear Essence] — and felt a rush of excitement and joy.

Because before this, even when organs from powerful Eldritch Entities were diluted and soaked in Holy Spring to make potions, the side effects were still too much for a normal Survivor to handle.

Only Kevin could drink those strong Holy Spring potions without any side effects.

For example, the [Eight Arms] state — right now, only Kevin could activate it.

If any of the other girls tried to activate it, they would definitely fall into a state of mental madness.

But now, with the [Holy Spring Essence], organs taken from Commander-level or even Lord-level Eldritch Entities would no longer belong only to Kevin.

Imagine this: Celula and the others all activating the [Eight Arms] state, each holding a [White Wolf’s Eye], each holding a [Zero Error], plus all kinds of powerful melee weapons. Every single one of them would be a super combatant.

Thinking about this, Kevin couldn’t help but burst out laughing.

Luna, on the other hand, playfully pushed Kevin away and complained, "You’re crushing my chest!"

Without another word, Kevin used up all of the day’s production quota.

In the end, he got fifteen bottles of [Holy Spring Essence] and five bottles of [Goddess Tear Essence].

Luna took the twenty new potions, her hands trembling. "I can feel that these two potions are kind of like ’Holy Spring’ and ’Tear of the Goddess,’ but the smell is so much stronger. It’s like they’re way more powerful."

Kevin smiled and explained, "These are [Holy Spring] and [Tear of the Goddess] concentrated fifty times. One bottle is worth fifty of the normal ones."

Hearing this, Luna covered her mouth with both hands, unable to hold back a gasp. "Oh my god! There’s actually a potion like this. Honey, you’re amazing! With these, I can make even stronger magic potions."

With that, Luna forgot that her chest was still sore from before. She threw herself into Kevin’s arms again and pressed her whole body against his chest.

Kevin enjoyed the softness of the beauty in his arms and laughed happily.

He looked around and saw the envy in the other girls’ eyes. "You all need to work hard too."

The girls blushed when they heard that.

Before, all of their Affection for Kevin was over one hundred, putting them all at the Bronze level.

Now that Luna had entered the Silver level first, the other girls started to feel a little competitive.

Nova was even more direct. She pulled Luna away, turned around, and squeezed into Kevin’s arms. She bit his neck lightly and said, "We’ll work hard, but you have to cooperate too. From today on, from Monday to Saturday, you’ll sleep in one of our rooms every night, taking turns."

Kevin raised an eyebrow when he heard this. "Then on Sunday, all six of you will sleep in my room."

The girls all spat at him playfully, then turned around and ignored him.

Kevin chuckled and walked over to the control deck.

Right now, Toti was like a kid with a new toy. She couldn’t stop testing all the instruments and equipment on the control deck.

After the "Daddy" Cannon was upgraded to a battleship, the control deck had two full rows of instrument panels, plus a big digital screen in the middle. To fully drive this battleship, you would need four people working together just to pilot it.

And that’s not even counting the weapon operation and information processing work.

Toti scratched her head, wiped the excitement off her face, and walked up to Kevin with a sigh. "This ship is amazing. But if I’m the only one piloting it, it’s kind of a waste of its potential."

Kevin nodded but didn’t say anything.

With him around, the "Daddy" Cannon could still perform at one hundred percent, even without a pilot.

But if he wanted to free himself up, he would eventually need to recruit more crew members.

Thinking about this, Kevin started to plan in his head.

If the "Daddy" Cannon kept staying away from other Survivor groups and developed on its own, just like it had been doing for the past few days, then Kevin probably wouldn’t run into other Survivors for a long time.

So, it was time to give the Survivors in the First Sea Area a little shock.

Kevin patted Toti on the shoulder, picked up the intercom, and said, "Call everyone to gather."

Now that Kevin had spent all of his loot, it was time to start a new round of Eldritch Entity hunting.

The girls all got excited when they heard this.

With the "Daddy" Cannon’s current speed, Kevin and Nova’s ability to summon Eldritch Entities would be much more efficient.

And with the huge deck of the new "Daddy" Cannon, Kevin and the others could clear out two or three waves of Eldritch Entities first, then sort through the loot all at once.

Raphael was doing the math as she made her suggestion. "Based on our current conditions, we can totally clear out six to seven waves of Eldritch Entities in one day. We should be able to increase the amount of loot we collect by thirty to fifty percent."

Kevin listened to Raphael’s report and nodded.

But he didn’t go along with that idea. He turned to look at Luna, his eyes shifting as he thought. "If we only summon Eldritch Entities on the Dread Sea, most of the ones we attract will be below Elite level. In fact, over the past five days, we’ve only run into one Commander-level Eldritch Entity. That level of Eldritch Entity isn’t worth much to us anymore."

"What we need right now isn’t to kill tens of thousands of monsters below Elite level. What we need is to kill a few, or even a dozen or so, Commander-level or even Lord-level Eldritch Entities."

When he said that, Kevin paused, looked around at everyone in the room, and raised his voice. "Our ultimate goal is to get stronger, not to get rich. So, since we all have a full set of B-Tier equipment, there’s no point in dealing with so many monsters below Elite level anymore."

Kevin spread out a map and drew seven circles around the nearby islands. "These are the seven closest islands to us. There aren’t many safe islands on the Dread Sea. In fact, more than half of them have all kinds of dangers. Like that time with the human-faced wasps."

Raphael’s eyes trembled when she heard that. She realized what Kevin was getting at. "Are you saying we should go looking for the followers of the evil gods?"

"That’s right." Kevin nodded. "Only by thinking what others don’t dare to think, and doing what others don’t dare to do, can we keep staying ahead of other Survivors. Besides, at the current level of the ’Daddy’ Cannon, we’re fully capable of fighting a small-scale war."

"If we wipe out one or two groups like the human-faced wasp nest, we’ll have enough capital to hunt the Eldritch giants on the sea when the next storm comes."

"Think about it. If we kill dozens, or even close to a hundred, Eldritch giants in the next storm, what do you think those big ship alliances that rely on large numbers of people will do?"

Monchhichi chuckled when she heard that. "They’ll probably cry."

Celula laughed too. "They’ll just be full of jealousy, but there’s nothing they can do about us."

Toti was fired up by Kevin’s words. She slammed her hand on the table and said excitedly, "Hell yeah, let’s do it! I’m in for this crazy ride with you guys!"

Everyone agreed, and the "Daddy" Cannon quickly set sail.

At the same time, in a distant sea area...

The Grion family’s cruise ship was sailing fast.

Behind it, two small ships were covered in flames, and loud explosions echoed across the sky.

The Survivors on those ships were crying and screaming in despair.

But the nobles standing on the cruise ship were holding their wine glasses, watching coldly as the Survivors were swallowed by the fire.

Messi Grion stood on top of the ship. Behind him, Bella looked ahead with a terrified face.

She had just been leaning on the railing, staring at the waves, when she happened to be seen by the Survivors on the two passing ships.

Those Survivors whistled at Bella twice. Then, suddenly, two rows of cannons rose up on the cruise ship. The cannon fire swallowed the two ships in an instant.

No explanation. No argument.

Just because of that offense, two Survivor teams were devoured by the flames.

Messi Grion swirled the red wine in his hand, turned his head to glance at Bella, and said coldly, "The dignity of the Grion family cannot be violated. Even the dogs of the Grion family must be noble and outstanding."

Bella nodded without thinking. She had a whole new understanding of how cold and powerful this man was.

Seriously, those two rows of cannons had just fired lasers.

Bella had only seen weapons like that in sci-fi movies.

Just then, Darius and Sindra walked over. They looked gloomy and spoke carefully. "We still don’t have any news about Kevin."

Messi Grion squinted at the two of them. "It seems your abilities are worse than the rumors say."

Sindra was silent for a moment, then explained, "We’ve used every channel we have. But Kevin and his crew seem to have disappeared."

Darius nodded in agreement. "We’ve locked onto Kevin’s companions. They’re very active on the world channel, but only for trading. The moment anyone asks for their coordinates, our informants get blocked and never get a reply."

Sindra nodded, her face looking awful. "So we suspect Kevin and his people are intentionally staying away from other Survivors. They’re probably doing something in secret."

Messi Grion rubbed his chin, a clever look in his eyes. "I heard that the last time you chased Kevin, you found a lighthouse and the Guardian clan."

Aaron and Draven, who were standing behind Sindra and Darius, both nodded.

That wasn’t a pleasant memory.

Just then, Justin walked into the room.

He looked around the room and reminded them, "Don’t forget, Kevin and his people have three treasure maps. I think they’re deliberately avoiding other Survivors right now to go treasure hunting in secret."

When Messi Grion heard the word "treasure hunting," he laughed out loud. "What kind of treasure could they find in the First Sea Area? They’d be better off spending that time recruiting more companions instead."
