Count Scribe's Tutor

Chapter 75. Capture the Capital (2)

A castle full of tension.

Among them, the eastern mansion was particularly severe. It was because a prominent successor was staying.

Many of the elite and knights remain vigilant day and night.

A big curly-haired knight appears. The knight, presumed mid-30s, moved into the courtyard of the mansion.

He was wearing a sword around his waist, but there was no one to stop him.

Because he was Sarphene's escort knight and only five sodmaster in the kingdom, Argal Winvester. As he took a big step, he soon arrived at his destination.

Residential courtyards surrounded by a majestic atmosphere.

A young man drinking tea in the middle of the street.

It was the Second Prince, Sarphene.

Directly approaching him, Argal looks down and greets him. Then he explained the business of finding Sarphene.

“I received a reply from Actuate Silvan. ”

At that point, Sarphene's eyebrows twitched once.

He subsequently received a letter from Argal and immediately began to read it. The contents of the letter were not very long.

In summary, the contents of the letter were as follows:

“You were seriously injured in this war, and it's hard to get to the capital? ”

Sarphene's fine glaze frowns.

Shortly after, a short sigh gushed out from his lips.

“Looks like you got hurt pretty bad. ”

Sarphene nods as if she understands.

But for a moment, he bit his lip tightly. Then he growled in a low roar with an angry voice.

“· · · · · · · · No, you're going to have to get hurt badly. If you don't, you'll be disrespecting my intentions. ”

The letter in Sarphene's hand is crumpled.

Then he shrugged his shoulders silently for a while. Like cutting off a like-minded man.

After a short time, Sarphene turns her head.

“How does it look to you? ”

An icy glance reaches Argal.

Then came Sarphene's question.

“Does his actions seem deliberate? ”

The look that demands an answer.

Argal, who was facing this, immediately bowed his head. I then had an honest thought in my mouth.

“I don't think it's intentional. ”

“Why?”

“In the last war, there was an incident near the Eastern Front where a high paladin in the Holy Land targeted an arcade of Silvans. ”

At that, Sarphene nods as if she remembers.

At the end of the war. Silvan Archdut, who has repaired the southern kingdom, has led an army of the dead to the east. Later, when it was his turn to defeat the enemies, he was attacked by the paladin at the interstellar sanctuary.

“I heard you were seriously injured in the battle with the paladin back then. This is also acknowledged by Earl Keshmif and Duke Sethier, and it appears to be quite credible. ”

If it were a unilateral argument, they would not believe it.

I didn't understand it even if I thought about it sensibly. Even the Holy Land is in bad shape, so why are they storming all the way across the border? And I had no reason to do that.

But as Argal has said, when Earl Keshmif and Duke Setyr testified the same thing, this matter truly changed. The two nobles representing the kingdom had no reason to lie for the sake of reality.

“There is a most decisive reason above all else. ”

As Argal continues, Sarphene stops thinking.

When I looked back at him, Argal said:

“The Actuals don't know the king's ascent, do they? ”

Very few knew that Sarfene's father, the lord of Laderon, had passed away. Even the Duke of Setia could not have known, the reality at the southern end.

That's what Argal said.

My eyes gradually regained their original color. Sarphene takes a short breath as she calms down.

“From what I hear, you're right. I guess I'm too excited. ”

Then he simply agreed to acknowledge the key.

The fact that the arcade was seriously injured.

But even then, for a moment, Sarphene had her head all messed up. You feel frustrated, then mutter with a distorted face again.

“But there's a limit to staying put like this. You're already searching for a will by releasing knights. I'm just staring at it dazed. ”

It's scary to put the word will out of your mouth.

Sarphene's expression flickers. Then Argal, who saw it, sighed in secret.

"If the plan is as it was originally planned. ’

Immediately after the King's death. I was going to unite the flags of Sarphene.

Among them were the most important keys: the silvan arcade. Silvan Archdut is a hero of the realm and a symbol of compassion. With his support, it would be possible to throw the First Prince into a corner.

That's how Sarphene intends to ascend the throne.

But even before the plan was implemented, rumors of a hidden will spread rapidly.

‘· · · · · · · Information that even sources are unknown. ’

I had no idea who spread it or where it came from.

But I couldn't ignore it. He would, too, because King Laderon often said he would write a will in his lifetime. Because of this situation, Sarphene was unable to move quickly.

And so it was with the First Prince and the Kalian.

‘If all this is someone's intention.' ’

Suddenly, I thought about it, but soon I robbed him.

It was because I felt too speculative. With the exception of Sarphene and Calian, no one has ever attempted anything of this magnitude.

Suddenly, Sarphene's voice breaks his mind.

“Wouldn't it be better if I went south? ”

Sarfene buries it with a nervous face.

Argal narrows his gaze as he completely loses his composure. If that's the case, isn't that what you're looking forward to?

“Your Grace, it's... ”

So I was going to hold Sarphene with a worried face.

I felt a reverberation beyond the starry courtyard. Turning your head, you see a familiar knight hurrying towards you.

“Sir Winvester. ”

Immediately, a knight approached the scene and put his mouth in Argal's ear.

A moment later, after the whisper is over, Argal nods. Then, looking back at Sarphene, he put the message in his mouth.

“Your Grace, Earl Regelton has arrived. ”

Sarphene's expression changed as she continued.

It just reminded me of what I was supposed to meet with the erl.

“I see. Take me inside. ”

Agony and nervousness in my face disappeared quickly.

A short time after Sarphene's permission fell, an old man appeared. An old noble who boasts a magnificent skeleton even though he has quite a lot of smoke. It was Earl Lekelton, the northern military bee and Sarphene's outsider.

He immediately stops in front of Sarphene as he makes his big move.

“Greetings, Prince. ”

“Welcome, Count. ”

Sarphene welcomed the late Duke of Lekelton with a smile.

However, the only thing with a smile was the mouth. The eyes did not smile a bit.

After that, the two of them sat down to face each other and immediately talked.

“How are the northern nobles? ”

“It's always the same. I'm in the middle of restoring a ruined territory. ”

After each other's greetings and formal conversations.

Sarphene drank a cup of her completely cold tea. I felt the pungent aroma sweeping through my mouth and gazed at the Marquis.

And I remembered why I decided to meet with the erl today.

It was to talk about the hidden will.

Before getting to the point, I had a moment to think. Earl Regelton suddenly opened his lips.

“Sererheim has contacted us. ”

“Yes? In the Holy Land? ”

My complexion changed as I came up with an unexpected topic.

You look genuinely surprised. Sarphene replies puzzled.

“The relationship with the Holy Nation was completely severed. ”

“I knew something like this would happen, and I kept the relationship going. ”

I told you to cut ties.

I can't believe you disobeyed a direct order and acted on your own. Sarfene's glabella was crumpled.

Above all, the Holy Nation is not very helpful in the current situation. It was due to the recent outbreak of war that the people were grumbling against one another.

But what if they find a connection to the Holy Land?

Instead of helping, we'll lose our minds. That's why Sarphene said it was uncomfortable.

“You brought up the Holy Nation all of a sudden for a reason, right? ”

Earl Lekelton knows the nature of Sarphene.

Nevertheless, when he uttered these words, he was confident enough to bear Sarphene's wrath. Then Sarphene asked with a serious face.

“Are you offering any military assistance? ”

Even if you have bad mood, the story changes if you provide massive military support.

With the help of the Holy Land, you can eliminate the First Prince, and once you're on the throne, it's all over. They're also fools, and they'll forget everything after a while anyway.

“Unfortunately, large scale support is difficult. ”

However, the answer came back, and I trampled on my expectations just in case.

When Sarphene made a blatantly disappointing face.

The baron speaks.

“But I have good news. ”

“What? That's the good news. ”

Sarphene bites back with a grumpy face.

An anticipated face. However, the late baron's words were enough to blow Sarphene's face off.

“Sererheim has the will of his predecessor. ”

“ · · · · · ·!? ”

As soon as the words of Earl Regelton are finished.

Sarphene rises from her seat. Both eyes were twitching as if they had seen a ghost like that. It was not only that I was surprised. Argal, who was guarding his side, also opened his eyes.

Earl Lekelton's answer was surprising.

A moment later, Sarphene mutters in a trembling voice.

“How in the holy country, how... ”

“The prince said he had condolences in advance for this situation. As you know, our kingdom once lived as Ser Heim and Ferocious. ”

The Marquis's words were true.

As he made contact with the Holy Land, the Kingdom also naturally established an alliance with the Holy Land. Of course, these days things have been overlapping and naturally distant.

Sarphene nods with an understanding face.

I immediately asked as if I was curious.

“And what does the will say? ”

If you have the will of the previous king, of course you know the contents.

So I couldn't bear the curiosity and asked. However, the prince did not give me an answer immediately. All I do is smile. Sarphene raised her voice as if she were stuffy.

“Tell me quickly. Do you want to see my insides burn? ”

With a continuous urge, the Marquis suddenly stood up.

He smiled and said.

“The future of the kingdom is yours. ”

“That means · · · · · · · · ·. ”

When Sarphene's eyes became bigger and bigger.

The baron kneels on the ground. It's a completely different behavior than I've shown you. Immediately, he lowered his head and said in a serious voice.

“Shin Lekelton is here to see the new lord of Laderon. ”

The contents of the will were not mentioned.

However, I had a hunch that the Marquis showed me. No, I didn't need to hear any more. Sarphene struggles to suppress her ferocious heart, spreading her lips.

“Lord Argal. ”

Sarphene stood up with a bold word.

Immediately, the originally scheduled command fell.

“Gather all the flags together. ”

“Your Highness, that means · · · · · · · · · · ·. ”

“And keep in touch with the silvan arcade through the tower. If you are not ready to die right now, tell them to bring their troops to the capital immediately. ”

One last glorious voice.

The wind blows from the south and Sarphene's cloak flutters.

“As soon as the nobles who follow me gather in the capital, I will check the will with my own eyes and purge the opposition. And when all is said and done, I will announce the ascension of the Abbama. ”

In response to the order, Argyle trembles.

Because I was impressed when the moment I was waiting for came. He kneels down, like the Marquis, and cries out in a loud voice.

“Yes, I have the king's orders! ”

Is it because you think you've reached your goal?

Sarfene and Argal didn't notice. A cold smile appeared on the mouth of Earl Lekelton, who was leaning his head.
