Chapter 294: Rogue Werewolves
Fear, all Tony could feel is fear, ’ Why? Why are they here?’ he wondered but did not dare raise his head let alone ask that question.
He just prayed in his heart that he doesn’t lose his head. The two monsters drew closer, each step they took sounding like a sharpening blade to him.
---------------------------------
Adrian recognised this werewolf by appearance but he didn’t know his name, he didn’t know most names in the pack now.
So he looked at Annie, " His name is Tony, he used to be biker until his crew betrayed him and abandoned him, he was their leader."
She informed him, Annie knew almost everything about every werewolf in the pack including the state they were in when they were turned.
Adrian looked at the kneeling werewolf and felt his fear, his face twisted with disgust, he raised his hand like a blade.
The werewolf whose name he’s already forgotten shook even harder with fear, Annie grabbed his hand and shook her head.
Adrian sighed, " Your fear, it’s disgraceful to werewolves." Adrian no longer cared about this man’s disobedience.
The fact that he shivered so much with fear disgusted him, he understood the need for self preservation but werewolves should not be cowards.
He ripped the air open revealing a silver glowing castle on the other side, the young woman on the floor opened her eyes wide.
’ It’s real.’ that castle looked like the one described by those people who claimed they’ve lived there.
However no matter how hard she looked, these gorgeous people looked nothing like what she imagined the man wolves would look like.
Their beauty put even the models on magazines to shame. " Pl..ease.". She called out to them, raising her hand with all the strength she had.
The man turned slowly and gave her a brief glance before turning back towards the kneeling man.
The woman on the other hand smiled softly at her and knelt down to address her, " Oh poor child."
The woman was confused, this woman didn’t look much older than she was, probably 25 or younger.
However her voice carried the tone of an old woman looking at a little girl. " Close your eyes and open your mouth." The beautiful woman asked her.
She did and a warm liquid entered her mouth, it was good and also had an iron taste to it.
She suddenly realised what it was and wanted to pull back but as the blood flowed into her system she felt a surge of strength.
" Relax little one, this will help you regain your strength and regenerate the blood you lost." The woman comforted her.
She found her voice very calming and found herself relaxing, she felt warmer in this woman’s hands than she did in her own mother’s.
Annie looked at this young girl and realised she couldn’t tell how old she was, she was finding that harder to judge by appearance.
The girl slept soundly on the cold floor, colour returned to her face and Annie turned towards the vampire.
Her eyes glowed with blinding green light, this was her own version of the lunar esper, the green symbolised it as psionic esper.
She planned to kill the vampire, werewolves and vampires never got along but before she could.
Countless strings glowing with red light descended from the sky faster than lightning catching everybody off guard.
They bound the young vampire and pulled him up to the roof of the building next to them.
Adrian raised his head and saw a familiar face, he had seen it briefly once so he couldn’t be sure.
However the vampire seemed to recognise him, " What a pleasure to meet you again after so long king of wolves."
The vampire greeted him with a smile and a low bow, it was obvious he was mocking Adrian.
Adrian tilted his head and looked at Annie, " Do you know him?" He asked, he genuinely couldn’t remember.
He knew the face looked a bit familiar and he had seen it before but he couldn’t remember where.
Annie shrugged, " I don’t forget faces but I’ve never seen this one." Their conversation was not low.
The vampire heard them clearly and it didn’t look like he liked that. " We’ll meet again wolf king, let see if you’ll pretend not to know me then."
Bat wings grew on his back and he took of disappearing into the night sky. " Strange, I have no idea who that is."
Adrian grabbed the kneeling werewolf and threw him through the hole in space to the castle where members of Sam’s lineage detained him.
" Where to next?" He asked. Annie looked at the girl on the ground.
" I think I’ll take this one to safety first, there’s another werewolf in this city, we’ll go after them first."
Adrian could sense them as well, there were two actually, considering how vast the world is, finding three werewolves in one city was good luck.
Now they didn’t have to teleport across the world searching for them individually, well they still do since there are a lot of werewolves who disobeyed.
They took the girl to her house but didn’t bother removing the memory of her experience.
To be honest they no longer cared if people knew the truth, a lot of people already did even though the general populous was still skeptical.
Then they teleported to the nearest werewolf, the guy owned a club and as soon as he sensed them.
He tried to run but unfortunately for him, without the pack he couldn’t earn elk coins and couldn’t buy esper hearts.
His strength was still stuck at level 4, he didn’t get far before they caught him and sent him to the castle to wait for judgement.
Then they teleported to the next werewolf, this time they hid their aura’s. They knocked on the door and a woman appeared.
" Hello, can I help you?" She asked.
" Well yes, we’re old friends of Ashley, is she home?" Annie asked.
The woman laughed awkwardly, " I don’t know who you are but Ashley is not home right now, you can come back later."
She tried to close the door but Adrian grabbed it, no matter how hard the woman pushed the door didn’t budge.
" We’ll wait." They barged in, the woman panicked and rushed for the phone but found her body unable to move.
" Don’t worry sweetie, we will not harm you, we’re here for Ashley." Annie tried to reassure the woman.
They sat down and waited, less than an hour later Ashley arrived. The human woman opened the door nervously.
" Hey sweetie, old friends of yours are here to see you." Adrian saw her try to signal Ashley with her eyes.
But she was so terrible at it even Ashley didn’t know what she was trying to say until she did.
It seemed she realised something was wrong and she had a suspicion who was in her house.
She couldn’t sense them but she knew somehow and if she was right, running was no longer possible so she walked in.
" You’re smarter than the last guy." Adrian told her calmly.
