Cyril sat surrounded by two beautiful women, he drew the envy of the men around him.

After all, both those girls were precious princesses of two of the clans of the round table.

If nothing unexpected happened, they were likely to lead their families in a few thousand years.

Cyril took a deep breath, at level 6, his senses were incredibly high, while he couldn’t see authorities like Adrian.

He could feel when they are there and so could the two women next to him, Cyril smiled.

" They did it, those crazy bastards." He started laughing, the two women pouted, they knew one of those people was Annie.

During the time of peace after they took down Bloody Mary and Adrian was sent to prison.

Cyril did spend a lot of time with Annie much to their displeasure, even to this day he was yet to accept either of them as his partner.

However as much as didn’t like Annie, they had to agree, what the wolves had done was impressive.

They like Cyril didn’t understand nor agree to the decision of the higher ups to not try and stop the apocalypse.

Even if it wasn’t done by them, the fact that somebody stopped Famine was a good thing.

They no longer have to keep watching as innocent humans died one after another thing hunger.

Had it not been for the Sapienta finding a temporary solution, perhaps the human race would be extinct by now.

At least the normal humans and lower level Espara. Somewhere else on a small hidden island in the human world.

Nasita smiled, she was dissecting a human corpse studying the effects of Famine even further, then she stopped.

Her test results changed and miraculously even the corpse gained more vitality as if they died full of energy.

She could feel it inside herself as well, the extreme and endless hunger causing bacteria were gone.

She continued with her experiment trying to find what caused this and through her microscope she saw tiny red lifeforms.

’ Bacteria isn’t this small, did they use viruses to infect bacteria in the same way bacteria infection us? That’s absolute genius.

Those brain-dead wolves couldn’t have done this on their own, it’s probably dark witch.

She puts even the intelligence of us Sapienta to shame." She sighed, she wished she had thought of this solution.

Still, she was quite satisfied that Famine had been dealt with, he was quite an inconvenience to everybody.

She hasn’t had a moment rest having to find solutions to deal with him, at least now she can find some rest.

The happiest were the common people though, they suddenly felt the hunger they’ve been experiencing for years disappear.

Children who were born after Famine felt a new feeling for the first time, being full, those who survived at least.

Adrian didn’t care for any of that, what mattered to him was that he could now hunt and increase his power.

He didn’t waste time, a few days after taking out Famine, when he was sure the viruses had devoured most of his authority.

He went hunting, their current location had a very low ambient esper density, he couldn’t find any Gadra at his level.

He needed to hunt a level 7 Gadra at least so the journey was going to take some time, especially considering the state of the world.

Even the Gadra were effected by Famine so there weren’t a lot of prey to go by. Annie suggested coming along.

" No, you stay and take care of what needs to be taken care of here, I’ll go alone, they’ll be a full moon soon, I’ll be back before then."

Before she could protest he was already gone, she sighed and went to do her tasks, mainly settling more people.

She intended to build a city around the castle, the werewolves were going to build their own kingdom now.

Adrian had made it clear, they would run or hide no longer, if the others want them, they would find them here.

Annie still thought it was reckless, after all the other races had demigods and even level 8 monsters.

As strong as Adrian was, she didn’t think he could fight monsters that powerful but she wanted to believe in him so she didn’t argue.

Adrian appeared in a dead forest, the trees were bare without a single leaf but he could feel them healing.

The moment he appeared he felt multiple eyes land on him but they were too weak, even the strongest was merely at level 5.

Normally, Gadra of this level would bolt as soon as he appeared but it’s been time since they ate.

The viruses were slowly giving them energy but they were Gadra, they were savage creatures who prefer to hunt.

Adrian didn’t bother with them, he didn’t even kill them and simply teleported somewhere else.

His teleportation still has a limit but to be honest, even he didn’t know what that limit was anymore.

He teleported deeper into the forest and found himself floating in front of a cave near the peak of a kilometre tall mountain.

The mountain top was covered in snow with howling cold winds. Deeper into the cave lay a pack of snow wolves.

Their leader was a level 8 snow wolf, it walked out growling but as soon as its eyes landed on Adrian, it bowed.

He reached out and rubbed its head, the wolf was shivering in fear but the bloodline suppression was too strong.

It wanted to run but its body refused to obey it. ’ My werewolf blood’s suppression on wolf type Gadra is really strong.

This thing is two levels above me yet it can’t even more in my presence, what should I do with it?’

He wondered, the ambient esper around his castle was too low, he can increase it using the wheel but that would just weaken the wheel instead.

Not to mention, the ambient esper would just be lunar esper and he wasn’t sure that would be suitable for these wolves.

Gadra were not like Fayera or Espara who can live anywhere and be relatively fine, they depended on ambient esper.

If the ambient esper is too low, they would grow weaker. ’ No matter, I can’t force it.’ he decided to leave them but not yet.

Four of the strongest wolves followed him leaving the pregnant females and feeding females with the cubs.

It was obvious these wolves were not at full power and Adrian was going to use them to hunt.

’ This will be fun.’
