Chapter 301: Nameless Demon
Meggie had just finished fighting another battle, she’s been doing this for nearly eight decades now.
She’s grown used to it, next to her was Maleficent looking just as exhausted as Meggie.
Of all those who had come here, there were only 11 of them left including the two of them but they’ve managed to build a strong base.
In front of them was a wall of thorny vines created by Maleficent and the vines were hanging on a wall of stone.
Behind them was an entire garden of different flowers and fruits most of them poisonous.
In the time she’s spent here she’s managed to create a poison specifically designed to kill the Gadra here.
They were cleaning the battlefield and throwing the corpses over the wall before burning them.
Suddenly she paused, ’ That, I sense my fragment but why.. could it be?’ Meggie was genuinely confused.
She flew off the wall and shot through the sky like a bolt of lightning, Maleficent saw her.
She too took off following after her, over the years they’ve gotten closer again and in this place, they needed each other to survive.
Although the eleven of them were forced to work together, they weren’t exactly harmonious.
This place was a wilderness, resources were scarce and they had to compete for whatever they found.
Maleficent wondered where Meggie was going but she didn’t dare shout at her lest her voice draws attention.
Suddenly she felt a surge of esper so dense she wondered if a God had descended from the celestial realm.
She paused for a moment then flew faster to catch up to Meggie. She found Meggie standing in front of a being clad in heavy armour.
Behind this being was a massive Gadra whose body towered like a mountain even when it has fallen.
Meggie looked vigilant standing in front of this person. Maleficent landed next to her, " Who is this?" She asked already preparing seeds.
Meggie touched her arm and shook her head, Maleficent looked up at this towering figure and met two swirling orbs.
Instinctively she took a step back and looked at Meggie with wide is. " Is he?" Meggie shook her head.
" This is the Nameless Demon, I believe you have what is mine." Meggie’s voice came out cold.
The Nameless demon raised its hand and opened its palm, a crystal orb appeared on the giant palm.
Meggie gulped and reached out to take it but the Nameless demon pulled back its arm. " The world has descended into the chaos.
Soon now, the glowing light will descend from the sky and darkness will rise from the ground, when the time comes, let the silver light not fall to the wrong hands or all will be null."
The demon threw the orb at her, before Meggie could ask what it was asking about, it disappeared in a swirl of darkness.
Maleficent shook her arm but Meggie was too distracted by the orb on her hands, her body was shaking with excitement.
Finally she turned and faced Maleficent, " We’ll leave this place soon." She assured her.
Maleficent didn’t know how Meggie planned to do that but she had her own question at the moment.
" Morgana, those eyes, was I mistaken?" She asked.
Meggie shook her head, " They’re real but I don’t know who the Nameless Demon is or where they got those eyes."
" How certain are you it’s not him, after all he is stationed with the Hell guards at the moment is he not?" Maleficent asked.
" Because I met the Nameless demon back then, they’re the one who taught me the spell to split myself into nine bodies.
They’re also the one who took one piece of my soul, the one whom the Axiom had fully marked, this piece."
She looked down at the swirling orb on her hand, inside it there was a faint red rune, the mark of the Axiom.
The rest of her soul has residues of this mark allowing them to faintly sense her and as she grew stronger so did those residues.
But this was the real deal, as soon as she absorbs this, they’ll know exactly where she is.
Maleficent sighed, " That still doesn’t explain why you’re so certain it’s not him, after all, not many possess that eye."
" Like I said, I met the Nameless Demon back then, it was during the last battle before the unsealing of the 9nth seal.
He was with me, he was the one who fought against the other Demigods to protect us so he couldn’t be the Nameless demon."
" That isn’t good enough to convince me, he has those eyes, who knows what kind of abilities he copied." Maleficent argued.
" The demon used magic, you know very well even those eyes can’t copy magic." Meggie argued back.
Maleficent shook her head, " Well if you believe so, anyways, you said you’ll get us out of here, how?"
" This." She held out the glowing orb.
" Once you absorb that you’ll regain your full strength and return to being a demigod but will that be enough?
The barrier surrounding this fallen world was crafted by multiple Demigods and not weak ones either.
Even one of our mothers was amongst them, I can feel the rune power in that barrier, you might not be able to break it."
" I don’t need to." Meggie answered with a smile. " This rune is a beacon that will expose my location."
" To whom!" Maleficent asked.
" The Axiom." Meggie answered with a grin but Maleficent didn’t seem very fond of that idea.
" Are you mad? Morgana if they send a Rendersol..."
" They won’t, it’s not me they want, it’s my child, they couldn’t brand him in my womb so they branded me instead.
They’ll try to use me to get to him so they’ll most likely send an army of level 9 Wraiths who’ll stop at nothing to get me.
Guess what they’ll do to a barrier standing in their way?"
Maleficent sighed, " Your idea is insane, besides, what then? How will you avoid capture then?"
Meggie shrugged, " I’ll deal with that when I get to it." She crushed the orb and a surge of esper and memories flooded her brain.
She grinded her teeth from the mind splitting headache, her head buzzed and less than a minute later she opened her eyes and smiled.
" I had forgotten how it felt." The power of a Demigod flowed through her soul once more, she felt free for the first time in 12 thousand years.
After the surge of memories she looked down with sadness, " I see." A single tear streaked down her cheeks.
This worried Maleficent, " Are you okay Morgana?" She asked trying to hug her.
Meggie nodded, " I am, I am."

Somewhere atop a barren mountain sat a massive hammer, a hand suddenly grabbed the handle of this hammer.
As soon as the hand touched the handle, a spark of electricity appeared and a bolt lightning descended from the sky striking the hammer.
