"Of course! I would never lie to weak humans like you!"
"What about you?"
Wen Ying looked to the second boy. He seemed surprised. ’This human actually dares to ask us what we want?’
How amusing!
"Human woman, you’re very brave. Since you’re asking, I’ll have a hamburger too. A beef hamburger, and an ice-cold cola."
The children seemed to be waiting to see Wen Ying beg for mercy.
But they didn’t get what they were waiting for.
Wen Ying went around and asked every single one of them what they wanted. They all named delicacies from the human world.
Besides hamburgers and cola, there were requests for french fries, fried chicken, Milk Tea, and even a whole roasted chicken!
To them, these items were like foods from legend. They had only ever heard of them, never seen them, and certainly never tasted them.
Even the older children made food requests.
One of them asked for something different. He’d heard that spicy strips were delicious, so that’s what he wanted.
Even knowing the human woman before them couldn’t possibly fulfill their requests, they still made them. After all, they truly craved these wonderful foods!
Even if they couldn’t eat them, just being able to name them was a small comfort.
After listing their demands, they watched Wen Ying, ready for the show to begin.
"Human woman, if you can’t produce the food we want, you won’t be leaving the third floor today. For toying with so many of us, you’ll have to leave every part of your body behind to appease our rage."
"Alright. And what if I do?"
The children were dismissive. "If you actually manage it, we’ll all give you a Satisfied rating! If you can get a Satisfied rating from all of us, you’ll get a special surprise."
Wen Ying was surprised. ’An unexpected bonus?’
"Okay. Now, can you take me to the kitchen?"
"Human, there is no kitchen here."
"So you just eat right here?"
Wen Ying’s question annoyed the children. ’Is this human still messing with us?’
"Enough nonsense! Human, we won’t spare you!"
Wen Ying sighed. ’Such a simple request. Is it really that hard?’
Wen Ying chose a corner and pulled over a table. She spent one hundred thousand reputation value and obtained the grand feast of hamburgers and spicy strips the children had desired!
As they watched, the human woman pulled a box from her pocket and placed it on the table. A curious child next to it opened the lid.
Inside was a hamburger!
It was really a hamburger!
The logo and text on the wrapper were perfectly clear!
The woman had actually produced a hamburger!
And so, everyone stared, frozen, as Wen Ying pulled one item after another from her pocket and placed them on the table.
In total, there were eight hamburgers: chicken, beef, and even Fish-Fragrant Pork.
Five colas, five orders of fries, and two whole roasted chickens!
And a jumbo pack of spicy strips!
The table was completely covered!
The children stared at the delicious spread, completely forgetting about the human woman standing to the side.
"Brother Dog, this double beef burger is for you! And this cola and this roasted chicken! We’ll split the rest."
Brother Dog was the oldest among the children, but he looked to be only fifteen or sixteen.
He stared at his double-decker hamburger and cola, his heart a whirlwind of emotions.
’This human woman had actually delivered the food they’d asked for!’
’Are we really just going to let her go like this?’
’I can’t accept this!’
But he really, really wanted to eat this food. It smelled so fragrant.
’Whatever. I’ll eat first and figure out the rest later.’
So, Brother Dog picked up his double beef burger and began to eat.
When the other children saw Brother Dog eating, they all dug in as well.
And so, on the third floor—a level that was pure Hell mode for any other human who entered—an incredibly bizarre scene unfolded for the first time.
The human player sat casually to one side, while the little ghosts gleefully devoured hamburgers and fries. Some were even chugging "happy water" and burping.
Wen Ying had turned on her livestream the moment she woke up.
Right now, everyone in her livestream chat was incredibly curious.
[Let’s be real, where did Doctor Wen’s burger combo even come from? It still looks hot, like it was freshly made!]
[Even a spatial storage item couldn’t do this, could it? Besides, how would Doctor Wen know these kids like hamburgers and prepare a combo meal in advance?]
