Dream Life

Episode One: To Raswell's Borderline Uncle

Tria Calendar July 2, 2017.

Me and Sharon graduate from Tilia School of Magic and leave Doctus today, where we spent five years.

As I left Doctus, I had already finished organizing my neighborhood.

I was spared a goodbye when I greeted my neighbor, the Littlef family, the Novello family. Even with me, I got along well with the two houses, and I can't thank you enough, especially for paying attention to the young Sharon as soon as I moved in.

In addition, informants Cy Furman and secondary adventurers Gerald, blacksmiths Zergius and tannermen Rufus and Rachel. I reported leaving the city to the other people I dated, and everyone spared me a goodbye. When I exchanged goodbye greetings with the people I cared for, the loneliness of leaving the city, which I spent five years in, made my eyesight a little hotter.

And I'm gonna get rid of this house, but I set up a bath, so I'm gonna need that removed. Before the removal, I went to the landlord, the McCloud Chamber of Commerce, to see how much restitution was needed.

Entering the Chamber of Commerce building, a clerk-like man rushes to get Douglas McCloud, chairman of the Chamber of Commerce, even though he hasn't given his name. And McCloud came in a hurry, too.

When I talked about removing the bath, he said he wouldn't mind staying put. When I ask why,

"That house is going to be rented out like that. Genius and the famous Dear Zacharias Lockhart, this is the house where Sharon Jakes was spent. We've already met, from this year's students."

"Then we have to make it extra ready to use?

When I said that, McCloud shook his head wide and sideways,

"Magically boil the bath. Make ice and cool things down. No one here in Doctus does this magically either. It's half legendary, Master Lockhart. So it's more convenient for those who want to impress you..."

Apparently, they treat it like a house spent by a famous literary millionaire. McCloud has further asked me to remove the furniture as it is.

As far as I'm concerned, it was just going to be luggage and I was going to dispose of it, so it was a boat over the road, but my surroundings were overrated and I honestly don't feel comfortable.

I decided to have everything picked up, except what I needed, but most of the stuff was subject to pickup. And surprised by the amount assessed.

"How about a thousand C (krona)?

"Thousand? Isn't that a hundred C mistake? There's nothing of great value left."

The original price is no big deal and I have been using it for five years.

To be honest, I didn't think selling furniture would be a big deal of money. But McCloud has valued it at a thousand C, a million yen or so.

"No, I have no problem with a thousand. That's all it's worth."

As I lean my neck, McCloud keeps talking, rubbing his hands.

"What can I say instead, I just need one favor"

I don't think, "Wish?" He was listening back.

He nodded loudly,

"I would like you to leave me proof that Master Lockhart has spent time with you. For example, notebooks that are no longer needed, wooden swords used in training, etc. …"

When I hear a lot about it, it seems like I'm going to add value by telling my students and college counterparts that I have good luck with the property.

(Certainly a house inhabited by those who did not give up their chief and second seats for five years. Maybe it's good luck... but it must have been 50C a month. I wonder how much you're going to put on it? Well, if both sides are convinced, there's no problem, but I didn't expect it to be a business story...)

I was interested, so when I asked him how much he was going to put on it, he said he would put it on fifty and lend it to me for a hundred C a month, or double the price.

"Still, you want to borrow more. Even if you pay Mr. Lockhart a thousand C, it won't take two years to collect it. And of course, it's not worth it like you."

When McCloud told me that with a laugh, I had to laugh bitterly.

(It was a success. Don't snort that the Chamber of Commerce is getting bigger...)

On the morning of my departure, I put my signature on the wooden sword I stopped using, the workbench I used to create the magic props, etc., and gave it to McCloud.

Elsewhere in the delightful McCloud, I slowly looked around the house where I lived for five years. Likewise Sharon looks in the house with emotion. Liddy, Beatrice, Mel and Dan seem to remember when we spent the same time together.

After about five minutes, I say to the five of you, "Time to go."

All five of them smiled and nodded, leaving the house with their luggage in their hands.

The six of us headed to the new town to rendezvous with our fathers staying at the commercial district inn.

The excitement of yesterday's Summer Solstice Festival still lingers in the city, but I can still feel the slightly lonely atmosphere after the festival.

As soon as we arrived at the inn, the twins Theophilus and Serafina said, "Brother Zach!," he said, jumping at me. They both missed me a lot, and I often dealt with them when I went home for the summer vacation.

The two are ten years old this year.

We are both mentoring our grandfather and learning swordsmanship. I thought my sister Serra would stop on the way, but she's still in training. Ask the person and it looks like Mel has a lot of influence.

In the village of Rasmore, not only Serra, but also the young women are beginning to learn swordsmanship and martial arts. As villages grow richer, more girls are thinking about protecting their villages.

My mother and twins Theo and Serra, and my youngest sister Sophia, will ride the carriage, and my father and his escort squire will travel on the ride.

The six of us are escorting the carriage, so we ride the horse we borrowed from the Adventurer's Guild.

In addition to the two-headed black paint that my mothers ride, the carriage had a large four-headed object.

Speaking to my father, he said there were loads of souvenirs for the Raswell Border Uncle.

Specifically, two barrels of three-year scotch and, similarly, a three-year marl - brandy distilled from the squeeze of wine - one barrel, and three barrels of Apple brandy. There was even more aromatic soap for a crate.

I said to my father, "It could have been ten years old,"

"This time it's a gift for the Lockhart family. Then I thought it would be better for the three years I usually serve it. And in the first place, it's yours."

"If you'd told me otherwise in a letter, there would have been no difference between me."

My father shook his head small, with a face that looked serious,

"To be honest, you're the only one who knows I can get that one out. Besides, I was hesitant to serve that“ Zack Collection ”. You have to take it to Ars first, you don't know what's going to happen. You think you can do such a horrible thing?

When he nodded that I was indeed right, my father burst out loud and laughed, "It's a joke".

It didn't sound like a joke to me.

I felt like I heard the Dwarves complaining.

I thought so for a reason.

My father has given a barrel of Scotch to the branch of the Blacksmith Guild here in Doctus. I was thinking about the Dwarves that I found out the lord of the Lockhart family would pass by and wondered if I had given them away to quell them.

Just in case you ask my father why,

"I heard from the Norton Chamber of Commerce in Periclitle that Dwarf can tell what Scotch smells like. If we don't leave Scotch in the big city, the city dwarves will follow the carriage and the dwarves may disappear from the city."

I still think so and nod again.

If the Norton Chamber of Commerce, which carries Scotch from the village of Rasmore to Periclitle, says so, it's a possible story.

My father was blowing out loud again when he looked at my seriously looking face and said, "This is a joke too".

"Did you take care of a blacksmith named Zergius? Then I thought I could leave a barrel or so instead of thanking you. But when it comes to the Dwarves, don't overreact as funny"

Looks like my father took charge again.

But when I think of the disturbance in the blacksmith's guild, I don't think it's impossible. There will be no choice in this.

To change the subject, I asked about apple liquor distillery, apple brandy.

"I feel like I have a high percentage of apple liquor distilled?

"Oh, it's apple liquor, but it's surprisingly easy to drink. It bothered me a little, but I thought Dwarves would be happier if they couldn't drink. And then the ladies were provided with soaps specially made by Nicholas. My village seems to be the best place to smell it yet."

(A little over a decade since I started my reform plan. I managed to make something that looked like a specialty, and it seems like it would be good to consider it a success)

Before leaving, the three squires, Guy, Byron and Enos, will be aligned, and Byron will order the five vigilante youths, Brett, Sid, Mark, Jim and Kevin, to prepare in a wild voice.

This time the command of the squire is exercised by my father, the lord, but this kind of mischief was partitioned by Byron.

Originally, the predecessor, Guy, was in charge, but he resigned himself to this.

He told me why with a rare, unconfidential look on his face.

"I hope it's just a fight, but it's a little while before you great I'm in command. After all, I thought Byron, who I'm used to, would be better suited."

If you do command escorts and fights in the streets, even Guy serves enough. This time, however, there have also been events in the Raswell Borderline Uncle Territory, a senior nobleman.

He was a former adventurer, and regardless of his strength in the woods, he did not seem confident that he would be able to observe his aristocratic opponent's correct liturgy because he became a squire in the nearby village of Rasmore.

That's why they gave the assignment to Byron, the former defensive commander of the Kaum kingdom.

Guy seems traumatized that Walt - his squire head Walt Vassel - slapped him for courtesy.

Its Byron, but he boasts a body nearly two meters long, sturdy, forged by his grandfather and invisible piercing by a single squire from an ancient, strong atmosphere.

In fact, he led a hundred men until about a decade ago, so it's natural to say so, but he might be more suited to these events than Walt the squire head.

The story changes, but Byron is married to a young daughter in the village, a daughter twenty years younger than him, the year after she was taken up by her squire. And I had my oldest daughter two years ago, and my oldest son was born last year.

Because of this, the expression was softer than before, and the atmosphere of a mercenary captain who had now led a rough man is free of fine dust.

When I said that to him, with a glittering laugh on his boneless face,

"I didn't think we could get married this year. The precarious mercenary operation didn't allow me to provide for my family."

In fact, there are many single mercenaries, like those who provide escorts in the streets. They say a short month vacates the house, and yet, it's a dangerous job, with a higher rate of unmarriages than adventurers hunting demons.

Conversely, the peasants who settle in the village are married early, and three of the accompanying vigilante youths are already married. If you're a young man in the village, it's not uncommon to have two or three children there at the age of twenty.

While we were talking about that with Byron and Guy, the Enos were ready to leave.

And my father, who made sure he was ready to leave, crossed the horse and said, "Ride!" I command you.

Guy and Byron, who had a gentle expression until earlier, strained their expression at once and crossed the horse with the vigilante youngsters in a crested cloak.

The figure was undisturbed, enough to say an elite cavalry unit.

By the way, the cape for the outfit has a Lockhart family crest on the black ground, but the equipment is usually camouflaged. Two types are employed as official gear: woodland patterns for summer and white tiger stripes for winter.

The six of us will ride with the signal and wait for the signal of my father's departure.

And my father's "Departure!" A short signal followed the academic city of Doctus, which spent five years.

We were going to act with the merchant team to the west.
