Dream Life

Episode 44: Battle on the Wall

Tria history October 20, 2018, around 8pm.

There was an incredible sight in front of me. I stand up unexpectedly.

This still has an adventurer history of about forty years. Even though there was a time when I was in my hometown, I have the pride of being a third-degree veteran. Even I had never seen a sight more unusual. Usually, long idle meadows were an asshole filled with countless undead.

The undead shake up their ugly arms and move toward the barrier with their stupid "hiccups".

"Mr. Lydia! Magically attack!" He returned to me with Dan's voice. Immediately cast a "Meteor Rain" Meatier Shower "spell. I'm going to slap them with the most powerful magic of light attributes I can use.

"God of light (Lucidus), who commands all the light of the world. Give me your shards, many stars. I will not give my life to you at that price..."

Take about a minute to accumulate the power of the Spirit.

With magical activation, spheres of light about twenty cm (semel) in diameter appear one after another about fifty m (melt) away. That number exceeds a hundred, and the dazzling light erodes the darkness, gradually becoming as bright as daylight, and at the end of the day so dazzling that you can't keep your eyes open.

When the light reached its peak, it freed up its forces at once.

"Give my enemies the hammer of God! Meteor Shower!"

A mass of light that was floating above falls one undead herd after another like a shooting star.

The falling mass of light explodes heavily when it reaches the ground. The explosion continued in chains, blowing up the undead.

Dan and the young archers said, "Yay! cheering," but it didn't seem to have worked for my eyes. More than a hundred skeletons and corpse-eating ghosts Ghoul were blown up where the meteor rain fell, creating a large space. Nonetheless, I don't feel reduced at all. In fact, soon the space will be filled and returned to its original state.

It turns out that the light from the projector arrived and it didn't work for the Dans either, and the cheer that was rising shriveled at once.

"It's hard to wipe out with magic," Rodrick's chilling voice heard from behind. Sometimes I'm just stepping on the number of places in the Northern Governor's Office Army, and I'm calmly analyzing the war situation.

"You can't do it with my magic. Unless Zach (the guy)... what are you gonna do?

To my question, Rodrick said, "We'll have to reduce it to tunnels with Crossbow. Because it's not infinite," he said.

"Herald! Report to my grandfather! Enemies, it is difficult to destroy them by magic! Change to a crossbow attack. Expendables need replenishment and Crossbowmen need replenishment! You got it!

A young man, about twenty years old, said in his words, "Roger that!," he said, rushing towards the mansion. Rodrick glanced at the preaching order and gave instructions to Hector and Guy.

"Hector! Guy! Crossbowmen in command, please! Archers get some rest while you can. It's not like any other flight type other than ghosts will come..."

The two veterans said, "Copy that!," he replied with a clean salute, each beginning to command about twenty vigilantes.

I kept staring at the eastern meadows during that time. Because I wanted to find the demon in the black cape that Dan saw.

On the side stands Dan with a sword of pull-out to protect me.

The naked eye could not confirm the demons of the black cape. Still, he felt more devastating magic than the Necromancer (Rich) and the Knight Without a Neck (Durahan). The Dark Spirits are also scattering fear and madness, far from the peace brought about by the Dark God (Noctis).

"What do you think?" Dan asked. In the words that omitted that subject, "What?" but I know what he's trying to say.

"This is the enemy that Master Zach was so vigilant about. Besides, I didn't think that demon I saw was such a thing that people could take down. I was wondering if I could really protect you...... what do you think?

Seriously, he explains properly to my mean question. "Right," I murmured, shifting my gaze from outside the wall to Dan.

"This could be the worst thing Zach ever thought of..."

Dan puts a discouraged look on my words.

I don't mind that, "but I think it's okay," he laughs. Dan says "but......" but blocks it,

"Things are better than they were at Welburn Castle. There are Govi's here, and there's everyone in the vigilante. Besides, this much is what he thinks. Then what do you have to worry about?

A grin also returns to Dan's face on my words.

"Sure...... I didn't expect the Knights to attack me then. But I'm well prepared this time... sorry. I've been feeling weak since I saw that demon."

That's what you say and you bow your head to me.

Meanwhile, under Hector's command, the crossbowmen continue to shoot Tai Yi Bolts into Ghoul and Skeleton. However, the number of undead pushing over did not decrease at all, slowly but surely approaching the barrier.

Gools and skeletons are pushed from behind into the moat and fall one after the other. At first he stood up, trying to twist, but the moat gradually buries as the next mate descends before he gets up.

Rod, who was looking outside the fence just like me, murmured "yummy". And immediately call for a decree,

"Command! The moat is being filled. If it stays like this, you will be afraid to reach the fence in about an hour. Tell my grandfather I need you to come with me."

When the decree ran out, he called Byron Seedorf, who was guarding the gate, and began discussing it with Hector, Guy, and me.

"This situation is unsavory. Hector nods loudly at Rod's words that the undead have no sense of pain, no fear, no sense of fellowship".

"Tai Ya doesn't do much either. Mr. Lydia, is it possible to blow it with magic?

I immediately shook my head "I can't".

"Even if you blow it temporarily with an air hammer (air hammer), just spread it in the moat. Zach or Sharon might come up with some good hands..."

I had an itch in my teeth. Whatever that guy is, he has to rely on Sharon. Still, now I switch my head that it's important to prevent these undead.

"Either way, it's only a matter of time before you come over the fence," Byron says heavily, agreeing that Guy "does".

"It would be more effective against an enemy climbing down with a spear than a flying tool. Perhaps you should ask your predecessors to gather magicians."

The moat gradually buries as we speak. The moat in front of the wall was about thirty melts wide and about the same height as the ground.

Zach and Govi arrived about enough. Walt is behind Govi and Sharon is behind Zach.

Govi climbs the fence with a voice to the vigilante saying, "Thank you," and looking at the moat saying, "This is certainly not an unsavory situation," and confirming to everyone, including us, "So, do you have any ideas?"

"All I could think of was a proposal to get the magicians together and throw them down before they went up and cut them off," reports Rod regrettably.

Govi nodded "um," but kept quiet without saying anything.

"This could be a good situation," Zach smiled as he peered into the moat. Everyone there was staring at his face.

"What do you mean," Govi says, "let's get over the fence from here," further confusing us.

"Don't make me cross the fence... you mean abandon the fence around the corner?" Zach shakes his head small to the side in response to Govi's question.

"You pull inside while limiting the number of enemies that come over. I'll just leave them empty where they come up and protect them from spreading to the side. Later, you'll be pushed from behind and fall inward on your own. It's also five melts tall. If you fall out of here, even the undead will have physical defects. If you wait there and destroy each one, I don't think there's a problem."

"But isn't it dangerous to draw the enemy inside," Byron objected.

"Don't let them in unlimited. I'll know when I see it, but I can't run and climb a hill made of undead bodies. Besides, they're gonna push us out one day trying to protect us outside the fence."

Govi nodded at Zach's explanation,

"Be good! I'm going with Zach's plan! Over the fence, Rod, you take command! Zach, Guy, you guys help Rod."

When Zach and the others say yes, they turn to me and Byron.

"Inside, Noon commands! Lydia and Byron are not assistants to Nong. Hector returns to the mansion with Sharon and alternates with Miss Beatrice..."

Beatrice and the others were called from the Mansion, and Hector and the Archers were to be defensive of the Mansion instead. I support Govi's squad. Sharon returns to the mansion to turn to Hector's support.

The moat slowly buries as the butterflies and vigilantes move around. Already buried undead to about half the height of the wall, only the deafening sound of a bone rubbing giggle and the groaning of a ghoul from time to time echo.

I went inside the wall, and I checked with Zach in a small voice, "Are you sure you're okay?"

"If it's just Ghoul and Skeleton, there's plenty of winning opportunities. But when Durahan or Rich get in, it's a pain in the ass. I wish I could stop them on the fence..."

From confident words just now to anxious ones.

Hold me tight and whisper in my ear.

"Watch out for Liddy, too. Don't leave your uncle or Walt..."

"It's okay. I'm not going to die here," he said, kissing him and running to Govi's.

After nine in the afternoon, an ugly hand of undead finally hung over the fence.

"The enemy's climbing! But stay away from inadvertent! The enemy will crush you on its own, even if you leave him alone! Defeat only those who climb!

Rod's calm voice was echoing over the barrier. Inside the fence, Govi is waiting in the front with Adamantite's sword.

The place was just between the woods on the eastern slope and a reservoir of distilled liquor, making it a relatively large meadow.

From the top of the tower, Zach's large lighted demonic props (searchlights) are busily illuminating the ground. It feels a little creepy that many columns of light move.

Above the walls, Rod's Mithril sword is brilliant in the light of the lighted demonic props. Next to him is Dan with the same sword of pull-out, behind which the magicians refrain.

There was Zach about twenty melts away. Next to him, Mel and Guy withhold, and behind him, a few spears stand and wait. Mel has volunteered to turn to the defense of the wall. I'm just a little jealous of how happy I am to be with him.

I refrained behind Govi and had a bow. Before my oblique, Walt holds Mithril's spear and protects Govi.

On the right hand side is Beatrice, and on the left is Byron waiting for the enemy to come along with his men.

Govi suddenly turned around and said, "That being said, it's been decades? Fighting with Lydia is," he asked with a smile. Walt is also Nico as usual, like a public tale after training.

"It's been, like, forty years? It reminds me of Pericritle."

A young vigilante who heard my voice grinned. Sometimes I seem to forget, I'm older than anyone in the vigilante, closer to the same generation as my grandmother than my mother. He remembered that unexpectedly.

"Will it be that much already? Then, just like old times, I left my back to you......" I just said, from the top of the fence, "Your enemies are going up! Stand up!" sounded Rod.

Govi says, "Well, suppose it's been a while since we've been busted,"

"The enemy will be here soon! Miss Beatrice! Byron! Don't let him get away with it! Noon will take care of the front!," he exclaimed, slowly walking forward.

For as long as the first enough, the defeated enemy just fell. Rod and Zach work well together to slaughter and kill the enemy as they push him inward. But the number of enemies has increased, or the number of enemies falling “alive” begins to increase. If you can call the undead "alive”.

As Zach said, the falling skeletons continued to break bones and let go of things that would make them immobile or swords they had. Ghoul didn't seem to take that much damage, but there were quite a few things that would pierce Skeleton's sword downstairs, or that would intertwine between allies and make him unable to move. Those who are lucky enough to get up soon will also be slashed down by Govi's sword.

Govi's activity was rolling.

Adamantite's sword, shining rainbow in the light of the demonic props, is unraveled. Ghoul's body, blocked in front of him, is slashed and torn in two, and the skeleton beside him is crushed and collapses like a puppet with a broken thread.

As opposed to Beatrice and Byron, Walt, who refrains right behind him, has not even had a chance to wave his spear. He stood under the fence, almost burying his enemies by himself.

All of a sudden, there's noise over the fence.

"The Necromancer (Rich) uses magic! Fire attribute! Get ready to be all down at all times! I heard Zach scream. Those who were down there looked up at the fence at the same time.

"Brother! There's magic there! Get down!" The voice slashed and tore the darkness.

Shortly afterwards, the place where the rods were explodes with a bright red flame raised.

A vigilante young man who was nearby said, "Master Rod!," he exclaimed sadly.

"Calm down! Rod's fine," he cried out to his voice not to lose. At that time, I didn't see Rod, but I was certain.

"That explosion hit the wall's chest wall. Zach's walls will definitely prevent that kind of attack."

Rod stood up where I ran out of words. Dan also looked safe on the side, and it looks like everyone, including the magician, was safe. While I was saying that, Zach was creating magic.

A dazzling light leaks out of his hand and quickly forms the shape of a bird.

"Zach's going back. I'm afraid I can't see it from here, but I'm sure I'll take Rich down," he told no one, confidently.

The bird of light gradually takes the form of a falcon. I can't hear the spell because the distance is away, but it's definitely the magic of Brilliant Falcon, a brilliant falcon that shines.

The falcon of light quickly became invisible, wondering if it had flown. Immediately Mel's "Yay!" I heard a cheer. Probably did some serious damage to the enemy or knocked him down.

In the meantime, I was relieved to say, "The Knight Without a Neck (Durahan) is coming in! Dan, look out!" I can hear Rod. Looks like the enemy tried to get rid of the Rods with Rich's magic and poke that gap and let Durahan in.

The unpleasant sound of the bone crushing gorilla of the hoof Hizume echoes.

"Guy! Horse with a bow!," Rod exclaims, "but shortly after that, a pitch-black horse jumped over the heads of the Rods.

"Intercept!" I hear Govi. I also immediately unleashed an arrow.

My unleashed arrow pierced the head of a pitch-black horse. Though I can't hear Hisashi, I shake up my forelegs and stop, slowly falling down. I was right to use the Mithril stuff.

Durahan jumped off the horse, sticking the shield of his left hand forward and into it.

Get out front so Govi can get stuck. I can't see the look on your face because you're in the back, but I'm sure you're laughing invincibly by saying, "You're not the big guy in a long time" or something.

I wasn't confused by that, but Durahan stopped the ramp. And when I stand in front of Govi, I wave up the pitch-black long sword in my right hand.

Govi approached him unconstitutionally. Even I know my strengths don't make me feel so nervous that I get anxious.

Durahan, on the other hand, approaches carefully as he draws his shield to his body as if to alert Govi. The two stopped at a distance of about three melts.

It was Durahan who moved first.

Govi slashed me with a move so sharp that the word electrolithic fire came to mind. I heard a metal noise called Kin and it looks like Govi played Durahan's long sword. I didn't see any sword movement at all, so I judged that by the sound.

Durahan carries out a series of sweeping slaughters. Each time, a metal noise called Kin sounds and Govi plays it.

The slashing of a few matches ended abruptly.

Govi waved his sword down in a hanging manner with the temper of tearing. Durahan stops his previous fierce attack hand and tries to take it with his left hand shield.

That was a fatal mistake for Durahan. The shield does not receive Govi's sword, it cracks with the light sound of bread, and shortly thereafter Durahan is cut off his headless body to half, slowly falling.

"That's not the sword of Dagenhardt," he says, raising his sword, and the Walts cheering as if to respond to it.

"It's not over yet! Focus on the fight!" He complains bitterly, "I've enjoyed it a little bit, too," he laughs. Fished by it and I was laughing naturally, too.

I was convinced at this time that this battle could definitely be won.
