Dream Life

Episode XV: The New Distillery

June 13.

Starting with blacksmith guild master craftsman Ulrich Drexler, he is flooded with many dwarves.

Dozens of them were in low numbers but no one to open their mouths, and surprisingly no one was drinking alone.

They were staring at one point with a serious look like that.

What lies ahead of their gaze is a polished red copper device and one middle-aged man. The Dwarves, like devout believers, look at the man's movements without a moment.

The man, Scott Wishkey, head of distillation at Rasmore Village, stares at the transparent liquid that flows out with the usual look on his face, without worrying about the Dwarves' gaze.

That Scott's hand suddenly moved. Dwarves' necks also move in the movement.

When he takes that clear liquid into the glass, he immediately approaches his nose to ascertain the aroma.

The look slowly turned into a full smile.

"Success. We've got a good new drink."

That said, switch the lever on hand.

At the next moment, the Dwarves' cries of joy rock the distillery building.

"" Ooh!!

Zacharias and the others wore earplugs beforehand, so they never had their eardrums broken, but they still felt a physical shock.

Zacharias immediately took Scott's right hand and hung his words of labor aloud.

"Well done!

I hadn't heard that word on Scott, but it seemed to make sense and I'm nodding over and over again.

Today is the day the distillery along the Slay River near Ars begins to operate. Zacharias was asked to be present and came to the distillery with the Lockhart family.

If you can't stay or stand on a day to remember, not only are Ulrich Drexler and the other blacksmiths in Ars rushing along, but also hundreds of dwarves working in mines and steel mills.

That's not how many people could get into the distillery, and I watched outside except for the key members.

After hearing a joyous voice inside the distillery, Jack Harper, head of distillery liquor manufacturing at General Headquarters, went outside to announce his success.

"We've started barrel packing! Finally, the production of distilled liquor has begun in Ars (here)! Thank you, everyone!

Jack, who was so impressed, starts pounding his knee and whimpering when he shouts that much. But that whimper is scratched off by the joyous voices of hundreds of dwarves.

Zacharias and Scott came out of the distillery when Dwarves and Jack settled down. Behind it follows Ulrich.

The three of them stood on the prepared altar. Jack is also welcomed behind it.

"It's a day to remember! This is the first time our Scotch has been made here in Ars!

The Dwarves rejoice in Ulrich's words. But when Ulrich opens his hands wide, his voice quickly calms down.

"Then I greet Lord Scott Wishkey."

That's all I have to say, give Scott his place.

Scott gives a slightly shy look before looking at Zacharias, then stands in the center of the altar and bows his head wide.

And I slowly raised my face.

"Thank you for inviting me on such a sunny day. And congratulations on starting operations. Following the village of Rasmore, a distillery was also created here in Ars. But this is just the beginning. From now on, various trials will be waiting to be made to make better liquor. Management of difficult barrels on the first land. Fragrance by Pete as the determinant of flavor. Other unexpected things should happen. But I'm optimistic. Here are some talented craftsmen who have accomplished tough training. And because there are all of you who love booze!

I said that and bowed my head big again.

In his greeting, the Dwarves said, "" Sieg Scotch! "" and respond.

The voice stuck to the woods and never stopped.

After about a minute, Ulrich raises his hands to quell their excitement.

"Now I'm going to ask Lord Zacharias Lockhart to name this distillery. Zach, I asked for it."

Did you talk to Zacharias beforehand, he doesn't have a bewildered look, he stands in the center to be replaced with Scott.

"I would now like to announce the name of this distillery."

At that moment, the Dwarves breathe together.

The name of the distillery is Slayside Distillery!

"" Ooh! "" The voice sounded, but as Zacharias tried to continue the conversation, he immediately calmed down.

"It's the name of a distillery next to the Slay River with no twist or anything. This unbridled name will be the longing of all Scotch lovers. In other words, this name will be synonymous with Ars Scotch in the future. That's where the name" Slayside ”comes in value for the first time. Mr. Jack, and the craftsmen would like you to continue to make the liquor you love more."

Zacharias said, "That's Zach! Slayside is not the pride of Nong!" The voice hangs.

"Thank you. Ahead, there are many distilleries here, which will be called the Slayside District. As a pioneer, I want this distillery to always take the lead."

That's all I said, I bowed my head a lot.

Then there was Jack Harper's greeting, but he was so impressed he was almost speechless.

A party was held this afternoon to celebrate the start of operations, and many Dwarves behaved as freshly made Newpots.

Finishing the ceremony for the start of the Slayside Distillery operation, we return to Ars.

Already the day leaned heavily and many dwarves were walking with us.

Walk through the castle gate of Ars and return to the Golden Floor (Anvil) Pavilion, an inn, but along the way, many citizens say, "Sieg Scotch!" The voice hung.

At first, I thought the blacksmiths used the same language, but I felt uncomfortable because even the little ones would speak the same way.

Ask Scott about it and he laughs bitterly when he says, "Is that it?"

"That's the effect of a book called" The Lions' Kai Song, "isn't it? This book is based on poems made after the defeat of the Undead last year."

My father, who was going to greet the royal palace, was also returning to the inn, asking, "Is it a book, not a poem?" Ask the question.

"Yes. Queen Katrina said she threw in her personal expenses and printed them in large quantities in hard copy print. I heard that commercial guilds are involved, and that they will be sold worldwide in the future."

When we were tilting our necks, I said, "I've got one too," and I brought the book.

The book in his hand belongs to a solid, leathery fitting with “The Lions' Kai Song" and flowing letters written in golden paint.

"They say this is for nobility. They say that the products for the general public are also made of paper, so they can be bought in krona, one book at a time."

The number of pages is high enough to feel a firm weight when in hand. Looks like there are about two hundred pages I've been looking at. The paper is also made of the best modified by wooden attribute magic, and it is not surprising to be told that this alone will cost more than one hundred kronas.

Looking further inside, it contains an illustration imprinted with printed wood. The colour is black only, but it is carved into fine parts, which is very good for books in this world.

"The queen said she was hired by a famous painter."

Scott keeps talking when we're stunned. It's unusual for him to be usually oligarchy.

"When I first read this book, I was unworthy of age and excited. Some things are different from what I know stories, but I think even I was excited to be on the ground and at the end of the day it's masterpiece enough to shed tears. The word" Sieg Scotch ”appears in the climax, so I think everyone in Ars saw you and spoke out of the blue."

My father began to read the book in surprise. And he holds his temples down from time to time and shakes his head. I asked the owner of the inn if he kept the book because I was curious too.

"Of course there is. Whatever the case, this inn is always available to the Lockhart family. I'm always proud of that."

When he said that, he ordered the innkeeper to "bring as many books as you can". The employee quickly headed back and came back with about twenty books.

"We couldn't buy anything for nobility just in bulk, so we're buying something for the general public"

"Is it this much?" I said to my voice unexpectedly.

"We also consider lending it to our guests for the night, or to make our employees read it. We often hear a lot from our customers."

When I borrowed one of those books, I went back to my room and started reading.

The story began where Dan found a herd of undead.

He gets the information on the herd of undead ready to die, and decides to be prepared that the grandfather and father who heard it will have to consolidate their protection.

The scene of the fight against the undead ensues, with the Lockhart family gradually in crisis.

When it comes to chapter two, the story turns to Ars. The information conveyed by Sims entered the general headquarters of the Blacksmith Guild and it was decided to head to the rescue immediately.

After that, the residents of Ars Street supported the Dwarves, and it was a story of three (...) thousand Dwarves rushing through the streets.

It has doubled the number of people, but there was no other exaggeration.

What bothers me about this chapter is that there is no story out there that the Royal Kaum supported. The fact that Queen Katrina has always been with Dwarves, and the fact that Sir Otto Elwes, an official, arranged meals and drinks in the lodging town, does not appear at all.

I thought if the Queen made me, I'd think about the kingdom's relationship with the Blacksmith's Guild and put in a story about helping the Lockhart family together.

The stage of Chapter III returns to the village of Rasmore again.

Orga-class skeletons, neckless knights (Durahan), and moreover Necromancers (Rich) joined the attack and killed many warriors. Still, it seemed to me that the Lockhart family would do their best to fight and win.

Some of the stories carefully depict the work of us Zachsextedt and Walt and our attendants at the time. Moreover, Beltram and other Dwarves were bravely portrayed in their work.

Chapter IV features Vlad Varonos, King of the Undead, and the Lockhart family falls into distress again.

My grandfather commanded the death squad and headed to the final showdown. The stories around here are well researched and very close to what actually happened.

And my grandfather stood up and sealed Vlad, and we joined forces to defeat him. Then the Dwarves of Ars arrive in the village of Rasmore and defeat one undead after another who have lost their king. This point differed from the actual one, but it was such a natural flow that I was not at all uncomfortable with what I was reading.

The final chapter will be about honoring the friendship between the Lockhart family and the Dwarves.

Ulrich apologizes for not being critical (...) in time for the showdown with Vlad, but said his father appreciates his friendship with the Dwarves and ended up putting together my wedding scene neatly with a feeling of hope for the future.

After reading in about an hour, I was weak enough to lose my temper to get up.

(Exaggerated, but not complete fiction either. That's fine, but why does the word "Sieg Scotch” come up every time? The scene of leaving Ars is fine. But why are you screaming "Sieg Scotch” all the way to us? You have the last scene? Isn't it weird how much anything ends up screaming “Sieg Scotch!" instead of thanking God in the scene of my marriage to Liddy and Beatrice?... No, it could have been... but this spreads to the whole world... please stop...)

Liddy and the others are reading books next to me, and their expressions are just as weird as mine.

"This is already sold, isn't it," Liddy squeaks with a face out of her expression.

"Look, I'm going to have to swing my spear," Sieg Scotch said.

Beatrice was squeaking that way, too, feeling flabbergasted.

"I knew I didn't have two names..." Dan is disappointed.

I don't think that would be the problem, but Theo and Serra also have the expression "twin young lions," but Dan only says “is an excellent scourge”. My father, Guy, had the expression “Eye of the Eagle Lion," so I guess the author had trouble too.

By the way, my grandfather and brother had been named "Lion Heart” and “Giant Killer” by then, and my father had become an "Incorrigible Lion”.

Walt Vassel had the adjective "guardian of lions," Nicholas Garland had a “quiet swordsman," Hector Marron had a “rigid bow," and Byron Seedorf had a “rigid sword.”

Of course, we used two names. Naturally, I'm called the Darkness Demon Swordsman (Sword Wizard).

(Does it spread globally, this name... well, it's just not "all-round Prince Harlem (all-range prince)"...)

I was supposed to give the chocolate to Queen Katrina that night, and I questioned the sincerity with which I had made the book on the spot.

The queen has answered flatly while eating chocolate elegantly.

"I just thought it would be a shame that a good story around the corner has only become a poem that isn't sung very often."

There's no way this queen is for that reason, and when I tried to shut up, I started talking like I'd given up.

"You're no match for Mr. Zach. Now let's talk about the purpose for which you made the book. The first and foremost reason is to let the world know that the Blacksmith Guild and the Kingdom of Kaum are good relationships. If it became widespread that the people along the streets went in and supported the blacksmiths themselves, it would be difficult for other countries to get their hands on the kingdom..."

If the fact that the people of Kaum gave the Dwarves booze is widespread, those who seek to reach the Kingdom of Kaum are prepared to turn the Dwarves against their enemies. Because they are a race that will never forget the benevolence of alcohol.

He replies that we did not make it royal because we spread it ourselves because it would no longer be credible.

That's a good point. But I didn't think that was all.

"... the real reason is to protect the Lockhart family. You don't need to explain this."

All I can say is, "Sure it is..."

All Dwarves living in the Kaum Kingdom are to have made their way to the Lockhart family rescue.

The fact is that the blacksmiths who live in Ars are the focus, but it's hard to say it's not true because there's no denying the possibility that would have happened if the information had gone over.

This would mean that Lockhart would transmit to the whole world that it is associated with all Dwarves. In that case, anyone who hands on the Lockhart family is considered synonymous with challenging the Dwarves to fight.

I could understand that much, but I'll make a complaint once that I've been able to proceed on my own.

"It's not a bad story for us, but I wanted you to say one thing. I have a lot to say about the content in particular."

With that said I send a slightly stronger gaze, but the queen answered with a cool face.

"You seemed busy, so let me divide you up here. I ordered you to cover it carefully, so it's based on the facts, and I'm confirming to myself that there's nothing about the creative part that makes it a political issue."

It's hard to argue with because I'm not wrong.

(This is where the hard copy printing I spread... karma...)

I wonder what happens after this, but I didn't think of a good future.
