Dream Life

Lesson 68: Settlement

(Archdemon) Death fighting with Ashtal continues.

The Lockhart family side was beating up every conceivable force and looking to win.

At the avant-garde are three grandfathers, Govan, brother Rodrick and Nicholas Garrant. It's a combination of Walt Vassel and Beatrice's magicians in the middle guard.

Hector Marron continues to unleash an arrow of Mithrills with his two squires from the rear range.

However, because the enemy's skill is high, and there are even more mysterious barriers to preventing magic, my magic, which can be called trump cards, is disabled, and I can't even find the thread of victory.

You just can't do damage to your opponent, or vice versa, two squire members were mortally injured.

My grandfather and Walt had already been fighting for more than five minutes and I started to see tiredness. Furthermore, Nicholas continues to be attacked by enemies with shields, accumulating damage.

Me and Mel, Guy and Dan are holding back nearby, too, but there's no room to get in.

"Uncle and Nicholas, Walt look at the timing and back off! Me and Mel will fill the hole!

I give that instruction, but it's hard to move because I keep on fiercely attacking.

The first to be captured by the enemy was Nicholas, who fights in the front.

He masterfully manipulated the Mithrill Magic Sword and the Mithrill-reinforced Kiteshield to attack the enemy without difficulty, but the Kiteshield could not withstand the enemy's attack.

Though he received an intense slaughter, the impact will tear the shield apart and sever his left elbow.

"Nicholas!" he shouts, trying to replace him, but Ashtal hangs a chase on Nicholas, who has lost his left arm, obstructing it.

Although Nicholas manages to outdo it with one hand, he is gradually cornered, not in his original movement. My grandfather and brother strike that gap and add an attack, but I easily play two attacks where only one sword should be slashed at the same time. The movement seemed to be accompanied by the presence of many swords.

"Walt! Back off! order," and send Mel a gaze.

Walt realizes I have an operation, and he retreats immediately. Mel enters that gap. It is the position of the medium guard and the attack is difficult. But there was a huge difference in stature between Walt and Mel.

Ashtal's face enters my sight completely.

So I said, "O God of Light (Lucidus)!..." and started casting spells.

Ashtal turned his gaze slightly to see if he cared about my spell.

Activate the flashing (flash) magic item equipped with Black Dragon Armor for that moment.

The dazzling light illuminates the basement strongly.

Ashtal said, "What!" I stopped moving for just a moment.

My grandfathers are aware of my operation, and they will capture the moment they show a gap and make an attack to fold.

My grandfather's sword slashes and rips his right flank, and my brother's sword hurts his left arm. However, they were all minor injuries and did not constitute a decisive attack.

Fortunately, Nicholas succeeded in lowering backwards by poking at that slight gap.

Mel jumps into where Nicholas was. And slapped Adamantite's sword wrapped around the blue light, as if to clear his previous accidental anger.

But that attack is easily taken with a giant sword.

Mel's place was empty. That's what I thought I was going to do, but Dan gets me in first.

"Dear Zach, take command of the whole thing!

Plus there's Guy holding back beside me, and he pulls me back in the same way.

"My son is right. Master Zach should be in command here rather than out front. The empty hole will be filled with me and my son."

I don't have time to argue, so I said, "Copy that!" Answer only,

"Take Nicholas backwards! Liddy needs first aid!

Liddy had already come down from the range and was treating Brett and Ricky.

"Please step back, uncle! Sharon! I'm gonna use your example hand!

Instruct Sharon, who has so far kept his magic warm.

In the meantime, the most energetic Mel continued to resolutely attack. Mel's swordsman level is sixty six, but still has a huge difference in skill, all bounced off.

"Shall we ever play," Ashtal muttered with an annoying look on his face, shooting the arrow of darkness out of his left hand unconstitutionally.

As unchanging as I was, my brother, who was attacking me from the left, gets the arrow.

My brother's body jumps with a bicun and falls to be bounced backwards. Dan enters that missing hole, but shortly afterwards, Ashtal's intense slaughter strikes the avant-garde.

Ashtal turns his grandfather, who stands on the right, into a horizontal giraffe at a sharp sword speed, slashing Mel, who is attacking him from the center, keeping his momentum.

My grandfather dodged it with criticism. But although Mel took it with his sword, he is pushed into every sword by its mighty power, slashed and torn from his right shoulder.

Mel's screams echo in the basement.

Though I never fell, I poked my knee on the spot.

Ashtal pulled his sword back forcefully after swinging it out to stab Mel in the stop and tried to stick it up to her.

Beatrice rushes to roll out the spear but can only slightly alter the orbit.

"Mel!" he shouted unexpectedly.

Time is prolonged just like when Sharon was.

But the sword never stood on Mel. Dan hung himself all over his body and strayed from track.

He hugged Ashtal like a rugby tackle and stopped moving.

The price was huge.

Ashtal said, "Out of the way!" and when I peeled Dan off with one left hand, I stuck my sword in his abdomen.

"Dan!" he shouted, and I was sticking my sword in.

I'm selfless and I haven't thought about anything, and I haven't even hung up on demon fighting. You just forgot me in anger and stuck me in the dark cloud.

I heard Ashtal mock of "foolishness," but all I thought about was sticking a sword in his body.

There's no way I can do something my grandfather or Walt didn't succeed in. But that was totally out of my mind. Just let the sword wrap its magic around it and stick it in to hit it.

It was an attack that couldn't have hit us otherwise.

But the operation I instructed before did work. I didn't aim for him, but he succeeded in the surprise attack at the perfect time.

I can smell strong alcohol around me.

At the same time, Ashtal said, "Ugh!," he groaned, stopping the movement.

At the end of his vision, he saw a swallow wing blade (swallow cutter) released by Sharon.

My operation used the magic of Sharon, the genius of magic control, to cause a bottle containing almost 100 percent alcohol, a stimulant, to be slapped in his face.

Ashtal scratches his own face .

On that excellent chance, I stuck my sword out with all my strength.

A sword is sucked into Ashtal's dovetail. It conveys a hard feeling that pierces sturdy leather armor, but the sword was taking my weight and stabbing me to the root.

Ashtal forgets the pain in his eyes and stares at the sword pierced by the dovetail.

The next moment, "You! He grabbed me." But both of those arms were slashed by his grandfather's sword, and Guy's sword damages his neck even more.

"All the while......" he murmured, but even more Beatrice's spear pierced his chest, exasperating blood, and the murmur broke.

"Bring the wounded back!," my grandfather commanded aloud.

I couldn't react immediately to that word.

Mel has been slashed and Dan has been stabbed through his abdomen. I can't keep my head on the sight, which can be considered unrealistic.

"Hold on tight!" Return to me with Beatrice's reprimand.

"If he blows himself up, we're all gonna die!

So I woke up. I do realize you're right, and I'll give you immediate instructions.

"Uncle and Beatrice's squad are the best! My brother and Walt's squad are number two! Guards, move exactly as Hector tells you! Beatrice asks for Dan! I'll carry Mel!

Only Mel and Dan are injured in the avant-garde.

My brother and Nicholas have already been transported backwards, and the squire moves quickly to the rear evacuation point, just like the training, without haste but confusion.

When I see it, I use demon fighting to hold Mel and move on to fly.

There were those who disobeyed my orders.

That was Walt and Guy.

"I'll push him into the aisle!," Guy screams, and Walt joins it.

"Back off! We're gonna blow ourselves up right now! screaming," but I have to carry Mel and I have to stop her.

And my grandfather said, "It's no use shoving me in the back! Go back!" but the two pushed Ashtal's giant in without responding to it.

Ashtal tides his face and accumulates the power of the Spirit in his body, but he has his arms cut off and won't let the Guys peel.

In the meantime, we were able to escape into the evacuation area.

My grandfather made a bitter choice.

"Activate the Demon Prop!" The voice of my grandfather echoes.

I couldn't say anything about that decision. I know it's the only choice in my head. But the mind rejects it.

"Everybody, lower your posture, block your ears, and open your mouths!

When I ordered that, I sent my gaze across the aisle.

Guy and Walt were pushing Ashtal in with full force. It's already going to the corner, pushing it further to the right.

It's been about thirty seconds since you need the power of the Spirit more than the Great Demon, but it doesn't feel like exploding.

"Walt! Guy! Enough! Back off! scream."

I know this voice won't reach their ears. Because the magic props that we use as barriers are originally soundproof magic props.

But I couldn't help screaming.

You heard the voice, the two of you showed up in the aisle. And I'll run as hard as I can.

I just walked into the room and all of a sudden, my vision glowed white.

Close your eyes and bow your head.

Immediately afterwards, the basement rocked with a sounding roar. And then the blast blows through my head.

The wind quickly subsided.

However, the fine sand and dust have swollen my vision and I am not sure what is going on around me.

I heard my grandfather say, "Are you okay..."

My ears are still keen and I can't hear them clearly.

Looking around, the rock barrier itself was alive and well, although the shielding by demonic props was blown away by a blast.

■ ■ ■

Ashtal did not understand this situation.

He is staring at the sword stabbing him in the pigeon tail that has been fatally wounded and at both arms that are missing a tip.

(Why... you can't lose like a demon general... why...)

But the enemy commander's "Send the wounded backwards!" I heard the voice, and my anger came in.

(You can't let him get away!... We can wipe out all the magic if we ramble it on this occasion! Then there is one thing to do…)

I immediately began to send the power of the Spirit into my body.

Two men are trying to stand up and bring their bodies outside.

"I'll carry you to the end of the bend! Lord Walt, hold your left arm!

"Okay!

I can hear the two of them, but all I can do is cough up, "It's no use..."

While carried, he is forced to send the power of the Spirit around his heart.

(Too much magic capacity is good and bad. If it's about the Great Demon, it's already rampant...)

I mock myself for the magnitude of my own magic capacity.

(But if we storm and explode, we can shatter caves of this magnitude, etc. They are an obstacle to the Lord's plan. Then it makes sense to get rid of them...)

In the meantime I had reached the bend.

"Let's go back when we push in a little bit more! I don't want to die here either."

Guy says in a tone that can be described as cheerful,

"Right. If you ignore the orders and die, Master Zach will be saddened."

Hearing the words, Ashtal gave a mocking look.

"Wherever you are, you will be wiped out. Waste of time..."

Did you hear what he said,

"You don't think I expected this degree? I've already taken care of your suicide bombers."

Ashtal mocks even more when Guy says so.

"It will shatter your defeat... caves of this magnitude"

"It's no use telling you we're going to die, but we're not going to be wiped out."

That's all I'm saying, "Enough here. Let's go back," he said, throwing Ashtal's body out, turning his heel back and rushing out.

Ashtal dropped him off afterwards,

(That's what I expected? Yeah...... but as far as previous fights go...... no, that's not true! If it is my power as a demon general... it is time...)

Shortly afterwards, his body swelled greatly and exploded with bright white light.

The aisle walls and ceilings are heavily decided, falling apart and fragmented.

In his opinion, every cave was supposed to blow up. But the shape is the one that collapses, but I don't see any signs of collapse.

This was the result of Walt and Guy's dedicated actions.

It was not originally designed to mitigate the effects of the explosion. However, carrying it at the end of the L-shaped passage caused a blast to fall out on the inlet side, which is a larger space.

In addition to the fact that the space in which Zacharias and the others were located had been closed by demonic props, this was the result of the narrow passage on the back, which allowed the blast to flow to those who were prone to it.

For this reason, most of the energy from the blast went to the first basement and the entrance side, and the blast did not flow to the basement where Zacharias and the others were located until the demon barriers were destroyed by the pressure of the blast.

Ashtal never found out about it.
