Dream Life

Lesson 57: The Dragontooth Soldier

After 10 a.m. on March 30th.

A pitch-black dragon stormed from the mountains of Aquila.

Liddy and I magically pulled it down to the ground, and my grandfathers stabbed a stop. I thought we won this, but the enemy wasn't so sweet.

The dragon squeezed his last strength and summoned the Dragontooth soldier Dragontooth Warrior.

A pitch-black demon is summoned to gush out of the dragon's body, which fell near the training ground west of Lockhart Castle.

Dragon tooth soldiers are said to be demons summoned using dragon teeth and bodies as catalysts.

Looking is just a bigger pitch-black skeleton, but its ability is very high.

The Dragon Tooth Soldier becomes powerful in proportion to the strength of the dragon that served as the catalyst. Even dragon tooth soldiers summoned with small ground dragon fangs are said to be comparable to the tertiary equivalent of an orga or troll, but there are no examples of the biggest evil dragons like this one, and it is not surprising that they become the primary equivalent of danger.

The summoned demon has a body of about two meters and is equipped with a pink black curved knife (spotter) about one or two meters across the blade and an equally pink black round shield (round shield) about eighty centimeters in diameter.

Even the third-degree equivalent in the record is said to possess first-rate swordsman, or swordsmanship skills of about level fifty, and its large songknife is a sufficient threat.

The skeleton boasts a strength comparable to that of Alus steel, a high quality steel, which is even difficult to damage in a concurrent attack. Even more resistant to magic, it was said that its defense was higher than that of the dragon on which it was based.

And most importantly, excellence in mass warfare.

Although the number to be summoned has not been determined, it is said that between fifty and eighty dragon tooth soldiers will be summoned at a time. Its dozens of dragon tooth soldiers work together like a single organism and use a variety of tactics to attack them.

It is an abiotic (creature) with infinite health and not only boasts tremendous attack and absolute defense, but even uses tactics.

The worst enemy appeared in the barrier.

I lost myself for a moment to the emergence of the Dragon Tooth Soldier, but the enemy has not yet been fully summoned.

He switches his head that he can still cope now, replaces his still obscure grandfather or father, and gives instructions.

"The enemy is the Dragon Tooth Soldier! Veterans take the lead and deal with it! Keep the front as small as you can so they don't go around flanking you!

My grandfather said to me, "Follow Zach's instructions!" And he commanded, and with his voice the warriors of the Lockhart family returned unto me.

And give directions to Will Keegan beside me, too.

"Follow Walt's instructions! The enemy moves faster and harder than I thought. Be careful not to get flirted with."

"Got it!," he said, running toward the Dragon Tooth Soldier.

Think about how we should move as we drop off Will and the others.

(either magically support it or be on the front line... they're both long and short... hmm? What's that?

That's when I found a little shadow in the sky.

If you look closely, there was a floating eye (gazer) staring at us about fifty meters above us.

Gazer is a relatively weak demon of grades six to seven. It launches a mental attack by dark attribute magic, but to the extent that even young vigilantes can deal with it, as long as they're not acting alone.

(Gazer, that's unusual. We've run into each other a few times in the mountains, but isn't this the first time you've come to the village?

Gazers often live in caves in the mountains of Aquila, not uncommon. However, it rarely leaves the territory because of its slow flight speed and being attacked by other flying demons. That's why I never saw it near the village.

(Are you going to magically support me? Alone with that, too?... too far to shoot magic. What are you doing? ……

I don't think a powerful demon named Evil Dragon or Dragon Tooth Soldier needs some support from Gazer. The distance is too far away to support or carry out a mental attack.

uncomfortable and observe Gazer's movements.

Gazer feels like he's looking at us in turn, subtly changing places.

(Are you observing us? For what? Is Vanitas watching us? I don't think God needs to do such a hassle...)

And I have eyes for Gazer.

(Looking at me... I can't feel the will to attack at all. Is Vanitas going to direct the dragon tooth squad? It could be a relay for that... maybe! ……

That's where I got an idea.

(... are you showing the Lunas this fight? To despair her or to respond to a deal to help us... not an impossible story...)

The power of the Vanitas-like grew stronger east of Aquila. The village has been attacked at this time and Gaiser, who has never been here before, is acting incredibly.

I've never heard of Gaither sending footage, but Vanitas, a god, wouldn't be able to do it.

Besides, even if my mind was wrong, it wouldn't hurt.

(... If so, this is the only thing I can do...)

Send a message with a hand sign saying "no support needed” and “hit a nearby enemy”.

This is the limit in the hand-signed vocabulary, but if you're confronted with Vanitas, my intentions should be understandable.

After sending the message twice, he unleashed the magic of Swallow Winged Blade (Swallow Cutter) on Gazer.

The magical swallow turns to its enemies as it arcs.

Gazer realizes the magic too, he starts running away, but he can't possibly be any match for swallow speed, and he hits it too hard.

Gazer falls to the ground, but there is no change in the movements of the Dragon Tooth Soldiers.

In the meantime, my grandfathers had lined up with castles on their backs and had begun to fight about fifty dragon tooth soldiers.

There are more than two hundred swordsmiths on the Rockhart side, but they are on the front line about a hundred over level thirty-five. Since those with low levels cannot counter Dragon Tooth Soldier attacks, they seem to put them backward as a reserve force and take on the role of evacuating the wounded.

Around fifty high-level magicians are also at the forefront, launching attacks from among swordsmen.

The archer is commanded by Hector Marron and shoots backup from the castle balcony and air defense towers, but even Hector's strong bow has little effect and feels like it's not even in tow.

There are other things Sharon magically supports from the top of the castle, but due to his high magical defense, this one didn't work either. For this reason, he had given up direct attacks and switched to breaking enemy lines with an air hammer (air hammer).

They shot in Evil Dragon's brace, Liddy, but it seemed safe. I saw him exiting the air defense tower and heading for the castle.

He decided it would be more useful to get off the tower and work as a healer than to support him with a bow from the air defense tower.

Although the Lockhart family was numerous, they were being pushed by dragon tooth soldiers. He manages to antagonize his grandfather, Nicholas Garland, Byron Seedorf and other good commanders, but still, every time the Dragon Tooth Soldier waves a spotter, the vigilante is defeated.

The dragon tooth soldiers move like machines.

Fifty bodies form two rows of sidelines, swinging down giant spotters as they alternate forward. The motion without the madness of the dimensions is so much so that I thought of a large factory machine tool.

The Lockhart family also fights back in anticipation of the timing of its replacement, but skilfully uses a shield to defend it, making it hardly an effective attack. Conversely, the Lockhart family soldiers are forced to bleed each time, as they impose counter-spirited attacks on soldiers who have forcefully come forward.

It's only been about five minutes since we started fighting, but more than ten people were already out of combat. But the Dragon Tooth Soldier has not been able to defeat the whole thing.

It's damaging, but it plays quickly. Even the Lion Heart (Lionheart) Govan, the best fierce of the Lockhart family, folds his cock.

I tried to jump into that battlefield too, but my father, the Commander-in-Chief, stopped me.

"We can handle this now, but our defeat is imperative as it is. Think of a way to open it."

My father is right, the Lockhart family side is behind the rapid changes in circumstances.

Initially, it laid down a system to respond to attacks from the sky because it was against dragons. But suddenly dragon tooth soldiers have been summoned, so they are avalanche into battle without making satisfactory preparations.

My grandfathers have managed to maintain a chain of command with all their efforts, but it's hard to say efficient combat.

"Beltrams, shoot me a barista from the top of the castle!

Instruct the Dwarves who were about to dance into the battlefield with a hammer in their hands.

"Ooh! Leave it to me!" The voice returns and goes straight into the castle.

Their skill made it difficult to jump into their nostalgia in response to an attack by a broad ranged dragon tooth soldier, because they thought they would make a sacrifice for mischief as it was.

(Is it about Byron, Mel, Walt and Beatrice who are at risk? Even Enos and Will feel heavily loaded...... we should consider at least level seventy or so but they are too resilient nonetheless......)

Mel wrapped his magic around him and knocked down the Dragon Tooth Soldier, but he should have broken his spine as well as his ribs, but he regenerates in a small amount of time and returns to the front. The brief resurrection of an enemy that should have been defeated steadily lowers the morale of the vigilantes.

(I'm definitely jilli poor... even the undead can't play it as easily as that... still have to crush the Demon Crystal Stone to defeat it...)

The dragon tooth soldier's demonic crystal stone was in his skull. The location is readily apparent from the dubious red light emitting, but the skull cannot be destroyed with lined slaughter, and we can only destroy it with a fighting spirit, as our grandfathers did, or with direct aim.

But the only way to aim directly is through the orbit or through a chin gap from the bottom, and I'd rather say it's impossible to show such a craftsmanship to an opponent with a dragon tooth soldier who shows masterly movement than a hard-won cause.

Still, I just have to say that.

"Aim for the Demon Crystal! It's difficult directly, so in the form of a magician aiming after you let him fall and stop moving!

But my advice was almost ineffective.

Defeating the Dragon Tooth Soldier in the first place is difficult in itself, and even if it falls, the Dragon Tooth Soldier nearby immediately enters the follow and does not allow the pursuit. If you ignore it and attack it, you will be counterattacked in reverse, draining this one's power.

My father, who was on the castle, has already come down, taking command of the whole thing beside me.

"You take turns as soon as you feel tired! ♪ And after giving the instructions, whisper to me ♪

"Can't we do something about this situation? I wish I could do something about that regenerative ability, but at least inhibit enemy movement..."

"The ability to regenerate is more difficult, but if you just inhibit movement, you can do something about it. Just one at a time."

"That's okay. Defeat them in one piece and hope will arise. Try it at Beatrice's or Walt's. Maybe a spear can poke a gap and destroy the crystal stone."

"Copy that," goes to the right wing where Beatrice fights.

"Slow down the enemy's movements now. Poke me a gap and aim for the Demon Crystal Stone!

Without hearing Beatrice's understanding, he casts a spell.

"It is the god of the wind (Wentus) who brings many winds. Refuse to protect him. I give my life to you… inhibit protection (inhibition)!"

Inhibition of protection (inhibition) is magic that came to mind during the study of the Golem.

I discovered that the wind attribute was used for the Golem magic formation, and that it acted as a servomotor such as a robotic arm. This characteristic allows us to think that the non-living undead, the golem, etc. can move and stop the movement by interrupting their role.

It was difficult to create an image because there was not something like a servomotor, but I wondered if it could be solved by “inhibiting” the protection of the god of the wind (Wentus) itself.

However, this magic is bump production and has not been confirmed to be effective. If the movement goes a little crazy, it's to the point of making money.

In order to interfere with the protection, the range is specified as in the junction. It depended on the opponent's abilities to what extent it would work, putting a little more magic into it.

As a result, the movement of the Dragon Tooth Soldier was slightly dull. Beatrice didn't miss that gap and slammed the Special Penetration into his skull.

Dragon Tooth Soldier collapses with the sound of Paris. Looks like a spear hit the Demon Stone directly and lost control.

"We did it!" The voice of the vigilante echoes.

But the hole was immediately filled, and its vigilante received a flash of spotter and was blown backwards.

"Don't be alarmed!" Beatrice scolded, and turned to me even more,

"Can we go now?," he said with his teeth out.

I nod at it and cast a spell again.

I hung the same magic all over again. The magic itself seemed to work, but because of the low ambush effect, or even Beatrice's sharp poke, it doesn't reach the Demonic Crystal Stone.

I've been dealing with it by anticipating her sharp thrust and leaning over her body.

"They're troublesome. I can't believe I just took one look at it."

I tried again, but the results were the same and I could only defeat the whole thing in the end.

After that, I used the chains that were in the storage magic (inventory) to try and catch my legs, build dirt walls and destabilize my feet, but each time I get dealt with.

A unit of archers, mainly housewives with crossbows, was ordered to shoot saturated into one place.

More than a hundred Tai Yi (bolts) and Mithril's Zhi's arrows descend on several Dragon Tooth Troopers, but most of them are prevented by shields, and those that were not stopped by shields are also exquisite to sharpen their skeletons, making it difficult to say an effective attack.

We have managed to maintain the front with support from above and a lot of effort, but the damage on the part of the Lockhart family continues to increase.

I was reminded when I saw the battle, but I was more than a dragon tooth soldier in the literature. The skill of swordsmanship is comparable to that of Mel over level seventy, and even the male Lockhart family on the border has only been able to outsmart him with skill, starting with his grandfather.

The front hasn't collapsed because of my experience working with the good mercenaries who visit the village, but I can't hide my confusion in fighting a group with all this skill.

In a situation where I can't even grasp the thread of the opening, more than ten people have already lost their lives just because I'm checking, and more than twice as many have been seriously injured and have not been able to return to the front. If this situation continues, the front will collapse in less than an hour.
