Chapter 354: Realizing The Extent Of An Ender’s Power At A Higher Rank

Selena’s vision distorted violently before it snapped back to reality.

She found herself on the couch again.

Her breathing was heavy as she looked around the familiar apartment.

Caelus sat across from her with a thoughtful expression on his face as he studied her condition.

His mind went back to the incident that had taken place within Selena’s mind just now.

The Ender of Death appearing here was probably not a coincidence, and Selena being at Elite Rank with so many skills was also not a coincidence.

It was all related to the Ender of Death.

Had the Ender of Death appointed Selena as her personal retainer?

It was possible.

But to do such a thing, what sort of power had the Ender of Death reached?

It had to be at least Emperor-Rank or above, that was for certain.

But this also opened up new possibilities for him.

No, rather, it made him realise just how much an Ender’s power could grow.

If Death could do it, then he, as Origin, should be able to achieve the same result.

Projection of one’s power across different planes.

"Caelus..." Selena’s voice snapped his thoughts back to reality. "No, Son-in-Law, just what are you?"

She leaned forward with disbelief in her eyes.

"How were you able to overpower the Ender of Death? It had complete control over me." Her hands gripped the cushion beneath her restlessly. "That’s not something some random being can just come and remove."

"Are you also an Ender?" Selena asked. "But even then, what you did shouldn’t be possible."

Sylvia shook her head gently when she heard her words and placed her hand on her mother’s shoulder.

"Caelus is not just any Ender, he is the Ender of Origin, Mom."

Selena’s eyes widened at her words.

"He’s the seventh Ender," Sylvia continued. "An Ender that wasn’t born from the powers of the Supreme One, but rather from the Axiom Origin itself."

"What?" Selena’s jaw dropped. "The Ender of Origin? I thought Origin was a myth."

She began remembering the memories from the Abyss.

"The Ancestor once told stories about the legendary Ender of Origin. He mentioned that he was one of the indifferent Enders among the rest, and he had a special relation with the one and only known being with an SSS-Rank Talent."

"However, they both vanished from the world one day."

Caelus fell silent as he heard her words.

He was also curious about this being that had the SSS-Rank Talent. He was ninety percent sure that this person had the same SSS-Rank Talent as him, the Extraction Talent. But where had he vanished to, and what was his connection to the Ender of Origin?

He remembered the vision he had seen when he got the Star Physiology the other day. He saw the Ender of Origin breaking the time barrier and then encountering a giant hand.

Was it perhaps connected to the being with the SSS-Rank Talent?

Something told him that it might be true.

But then again, how had he, Caelus Kross, ended up with this talent and also become the Ender of Origin at the same time?

There were a lot of mysteries to uncover.

His thoughts were stopped midway when he heard Selena speak again.

"It was also said that the terrifying power of Origin was something the myriad races were helpless against." Selena looked at Caelus with new understanding. "It makes sense now, it all makes sense. The Ender of Death never stood a chance against you."

"You are giving me too much credit, Miss." Caelus chuckled helplessly at her words.

Selena immediately shook her head.

"Don’t call me Miss, call me Mom." She smiled warmly at him. "We are family now. Thank you for taking care of my daughter until now."

Caelus met her gaze with sincerity.

"I consider Sylvia someone dear to me. She is a part of me now, Miss... No, Mother." He nodded respectfully. "That is something I have to do."

"I’m glad my daughter found someone like you." Selena reached over and patted Sylvia’s head gently.

Then Selena’s expression became serious.

"But we need to find our Ancestor," she said firmly. "He might have answers to many of our questions."

Both Caelus and Sylvia nodded in agreement.

They spent the rest of the time at Selena’s apartment, helping her get used to her newly awakened powers.

Caelus guided her through some basic control exercises while Sylvia provided emotional support, shouting, "You got this, Mom!" and other encouragement.

The three of them worked together until midnight arrived.

This time, Sylvia didn’t enter the Domain with Caelus.

"I’ll go clear gates with Mom," she explained. "She needs to get used to her skills in real combat."

Caelus kissed her forehead and smiled.

"Be careful."

"You too hubby." Sylvia smiled back before leaving with her mother.

Caelus entered the Origin Ascension Domain alone.

For the first time in a while, he stood by himself in Genesis Kingdom.

The familiar golden light of the Crystal washed over him as he materialised in the central plaza, the bustling sounds of his kingdom filling the air around him.

Mason appeared almost immediately, rushing toward him with a concerned expression.

"Sir Caelus, I have a question regarding the Origin Ore Vein."

"What is it?"

"Now that we are at Tier 5 Regional Lord Territory, there is no Golden Chamber connection with Earth players." Mason wrung his hands together nervously. "Everyone from Earth is still at Tier 4, so trade through the normal channels is not possible."

Caelus nodded slowly, understanding the problem.

The Origin Ore Vein was producing valuable resources constantly, but they had no way to sell them to the Golden Chamber now that they were in Tier 5.

"I will arrange some spatial storage," Caelus decided. "We can stockpile the ores for now, and I can bring them directly to Elder Sterling when needed."

Mason’s eyes lit up at the solution.

"That is an excellent idea, Sir." He bowed respectfully. "I will begin organising the storage facilities immediately."

"Alright, go ahead, Mason."

With that matter settled, Caelus flew up into the sky.

The wind rushed past him as he ascended higher and higher, the kingdom shrinking beneath him until he could see the entire territory at once.

He arrived near the massive wall surrounding Genesis Kingdom and hovered there, taking in the view.

The sprawling settlement stretched out before him, countless buildings and streets filled with players and NPCs going about their daily lives.

Taverns glowed with warm light as members gathered for meals, training grounds echoed with the sounds of combat practice, and the forge district billowed smoke as blacksmiths began their work for the day.

A satisfied expression crossed his face.

He and Sylvia owned this place, and the vast majority of his Chaos Faction resided within these walls.

Six million people lived under their protection now, trusting them to lead the kingdom forward.

But for now, he felt like it was time to visit the Origin Expanse for some exercise.

The Ace-Rank Origin Expanse had many unique things waiting to be discovered.

Just then, he caught movement from the corner of his eye.

He noticed someone walking toward the main gate of his kingdom.

Caelus frowned and focused his vision.

Then his expression stiffened completely.
