Fairy Tale Chronicles

Spill Talk Part 3

1. Temple of Alfemina one day

The morning of the Temple of Alfemina is early.

"Good Morning"

Primla and Judith, who woke up earlier than anyone because they were on kitchen duty today, greet the other kitchen duty people who came in.

"Good morning. What about Master Aerys today?

"Looks like they've been out since yesterday. They won't be back for a while."

"Really?"

A co-worker male cleric who shows unexpected relief at the information brought to him by Primla. In the Temple of Alfemina, you can't be alarmed about kitchen duty because if you're caught off guard, Aeris may start making breakfast at times that don't even rise in the summer or the sun.

If it's about one dish, it's still fine. Even the princess witches, Aeris, are also in training. You can't refuse to let them cook if they put it up as part of their training, even if they give it some special treatment.

But the preparation of Aeris' breakfast is not that easy. It creates a meal of priests, priests, and apprentices of the Temple of Alfemina with more than a hundred people, all of them.

I can't make anything more elaborate than doing it alone on a boulder. I get biased toward something that I can make in bulk all at once, such as if I end up splitting it into pieces or if I put it in the oven, I can cook it up on my own. But still, it's easy enough to finish a good breakfast that looks good enough, tastes good, and balances.

This doesn't make me a trainee. As a result, executives, including the Great Cleric, are trying to keep the nails and embarrassment from getting up as early as possible and not letting Aeris serve them, even if they let them. In a way, I cannot help but say that they are being made to train very harshly.

"In the meantime, if Aerys isn't in the temple, he's going to be able to calm down and cook today."

"Yeah. But that doesn't mean you can take it out of your hands, does it?

What a loose thing to say to a colleague, primula to stab the nail for now.

"Of course it is. However, when Master Aeris is here, we lose our jobs when we get alarmed, so we are really in a hurry..."

"Well, I know..."

Primla and Judith laugh bitterly at the words of their colleagues. I hope you'll excuse me for saying I'm only eleven, but I'm more handy than the clergy I'm supposed to be training for years. Sometimes I wonder if it is a training to endure the pressure and make something handy and delicious with a normal mind.

Most of all, I don't think that's a cleric or a priest, but a cook.

"Sister, when you say you can cook calmly, it's not like you have that much time. Let's go handy."

"Right."

Judith tells me, Primla, who is just going in for a look. Although there is pressure to be Aeris, for sisters who came from Dar to train, no matter how hard they tried to get up early, it was gratifying that no one was definitely up ahead and ready for breakfast.

Morning training at the Temple of Alfemina is time for farming. It is the tradition of the Temple of Alfemina for everyone to head to the farm for work, except for the duty to receive petitions and other things and the duty to head out to the Hall for minutes in all parts of Urs.

"It's a harvest by this section."

"Sister, first we secure the edamame"

In the words of Primla, who looks at the fruit of the buckwheat fruit in a good way, Judith presents the work that needs to be done first. The farm of the Temple of Alfemina grows by various varieties because Aeris has been her favorite since she returned, allowing her to actually harvest the fruit of the buckwheat in roughly any season.

It is also essential to eat buckwheat noodles, so soybeans are grown to serve miso and soy sauce. Other crops are also grown in various ways, but it will be these two types that stand out.

That said, the amateur clerics. Farmers can't grow as brilliantly as they grow, and the yield and quality are no big deal. Needless to say, it is not at all enough to support the temple's meal, it is only part of the training.

Most importantly, soy sauce and miso are different from the story, and the ingredients are bought from the farmer, but enough is made to consume in the temple. The quality is not so good as the crops, but it was far enough. It seems that Dada did not receive direct instruction from Hiroshi.

"Edamame tofu and new buckwheat noodles are going to dominate dinner today."

"We need to make buckwheat flour. So let's finish the harvest work quickly, sister"

"Yes."

Primla nods at Judith's words and proceeds with the harvest work at best. The other clerics are seriously entering the harvest work. It feels really good to work sweating on your forehead like this.

"That's it for farming today."

Tie the harvested buckwheat and finish carrying it, and take a breath and Judith confirms. There are many things that do not end when the grain is harvested. In the case of farmers, including Hiroshi, they have all sorts of moves to drastically reduce some working time after this, but they don't have that skill as clerics only. It's best to leave it to nature to do it carefully than you can.

"The next step is to make buckwheat powder using the stuff from the storage bin."

"I hope you can eat a delicious buckwheat"

Other clerics will be freed with this, but kitchen duty is not over yet. We have to get lunch and dinner ready by the end of the afternoon. Because of this, the person in charge of miso and soy sauce is also quite busy this time of year.

"Cook with your whole body to avoid being disrespectful to ingredients"

The archpriest, who is on kitchen duty today, tells everyone on kitchen duty that with a tough face. The Temple of Alfemina, where you could eat without complaining about how unsavory and crude a meal used to be, was a training stance, but now the crude meal has changed to the idea that it is courtesy to the ingredients to make an effort to eat properly and deliciously as a crude meal.

Needless to say, Aeris' influence, but it's harder to devise a proper tasting of poor quality ingredients than it is to patiently eat something unsavory and crude, and it's also big that I've discovered that plainly you'll be a better educator.

"Judith, it's not like Spring Vegetables or Aeris, but I'll take as long as I can to make it so the ingredients don't get angry."

"Of course, sister!

Everyone, meals are better than unsavory. They were clerics who cooked with as much effort as they could take to eat deliciously without wasting a little while, thanking each and every ingredient.

Afternoon. The priests, who finished until the making of dinner and finished their lunch while thanking the ingredients, enter a ritual-based training, important as priests.

"Mr. Judith, the wavelength of magic is disturbing!

Judith gets noticed by the clergyman, eats up his teeth and readjusts the wavelengths. There are many things about rituals, but it's probably the same thing to do even if God serves them differently just because they're somewhat different. Therefore, the Norton sisters, who are coming from the temple of God elsewhere to train, do the same thing.

"Mr. Primla, I need your help with this one."

"Okay."

Primla, who is instructed by the Chief Cleric to relocate the place and readjust the wavelength of the magic. Primla, though in the Temple of Iglesios, has become an authentic cleric, unlike Judith. If the method is to a different extent, it can be handled without any particular problem.

"The wavelength is disturbing!

"You must be distracted because Master Aeris is not here!?

The voice of reprimand of the superior priests echoes here and there. As long as this training, a new apprenticeship, is coming to the temple, far harsher than it looks, the voice of reprimand will not be interrupted.

Most of all, Aeris seems to be more worried about me than she is about the reprimands of the priests, and the number of angers is nearly double different than without her.

"Mr. Judith!

It was a primula that fixed the forcefully disturbed magic beneath the edge as she heard her sister scolded again.

"You trained today, sister"

"Right."

"At first, I was worried that we'd get to work here, knowing that heaven, but that's something we can work out."

"It helps that you can make something where your meal is delicious. I'm not going to complain about coarse food, but it still changes the ability to withstand the environment if you don't have a good meal."

Primla and Judith talk with smudges, remembering the beginning of their visit to the Temple of Alfemina. The bed has hardened or the quality of the soap used has become very poor, but if I told you that was the norm originally, I couldn't even bear to do it this way mentally. Instead, it was much easier mentally than being given a living environment such as royal aristocracy on your body while you were in training.

Unlike each temple in Dar, it is also helpful that Urs' temple is equipped with a large bath. For sisters who knew what it meant to bathe every day and how comfortable it was, even if most of the living environment could be tolerated with laughter, being unable to take a bath was unbearable alongside a meal.

Most of all, spiritually, there is a consciousness that is physically completely unbearable. Even if you say that in a month or so you've normally gotten used to sleeping, the fact that your body is sore when you wake up in the morning is unmistakable. Because the fallout is too great, it will still take time for the body to become fully familiar with this environment.

"Sister, let's have a cup of training tomorrow"

"Yes."

The day of the Temple of Alfemina ended without anyone knowing that the sisters were getting a sense of fullness in such a strange place.

2. Farlane royal one day

"Oh, brother?

"Have you stayed in your room?"

"Yeah. I didn't plan to go out today."

One night. Aeris looked strange about Rayot's visit to the room on purpose...

"Also, did you eat all over your meal?

"Oh, that was on the go, prolonged by my thoughts."

I didn't.

As a matter of fact, it's not so uncommon for Rayot to visit Aerys' room. I once reflected on the fact that we didn't feel good enough and that Aeris was in a bad position, but there are other purposes. Whatever that is...

"Which would you like to have?

"Right. If it's okay to use dust, let's leave it at the Ancestry Bird Gala today."

The instant ramen that Aeris is secretly stockpiling, they're coming to have it divided. In this castle, the only royalty in a position to procure and store instant ramen directly is, in fact, Aeris. Elaine can hardly get permission to leave the castle town, and the king and Rayot, in that position, rarely have the groceries to bring into their rooms and store them.

To the extent that the King is reluctantly acquiesced in hiding the liquor he keeps, to the extent that he is allowed to secure some portable meals in the name of crisis management at times when it is difficult to reach Rayot. Mark, who is going to be son-in-law Avin and possibly the next prime minister, has a similar position and is not in a position to be so free in his possessions.

Aeris is the exception because he is royal but his affiliation is half independent in the temple, because he knows beforehand the dangers of food and drink thanks to Alfemina, and even more because of his charisma in a different way than Rayot's, he can forgive this degree of selfishness.

Because of this, Rayott doesn't have a complete picture of Aeris' trends. Except when you're vacating the country as a witch or as a princess, there's only either an Azma workshop or a temple or an underground entertainment facility to say you're staying out, and wherever you go, you're acting with the proper permission of the people involved, but the busy Rayot doesn't remember everything, even if he's getting reports. At the end of the day, staying out of public work is not a very clear idea.

"We're securing a good egg, shall we drop that?

"Appreciate it"

"Then I will be ready, please wait inside"

Led by Aeris, Layot takes to the corner where she laid a carpet on the flooring behind her room and placed a shabby table.

"Rayot, have you eaten too?

"Father too..."

There was a king stripping off the label of meat udon and about to start eating it now. Layot takes off his shoes, goes up on the flooring, and starts talking to the king as he sits in front of the shabbub table.

"I've had less crappy complaints since that one..."

"Now there's a lot more time to be taken for stories that can't be left alone..."

Since the turmoil in Catalina, the number of corrupt nobles has dropped dramatically. However, there is also a consequent shortage of manpower, and the confusion in the upper echelons is still ongoing. Still, it hasn't had any effect on the lives of ordinary people, so I guess the talent who spared Solemn Qing is better than that.

However, many of the things that have not been possible until now because of the tight binding of the law have been punished by the spoon. At the same time, it has come to the table to a considerable extent to what extent the laws enacted by previous generations that have blown too much have pulled their legs.

"Brother, thank you for waiting"

"Oh, thank you"

Ancestral instant ramen, with eggs dropped on the original bird gala and a slight addition of lightly fired sprouts and a lid, is transported to Rayot. Thank you for that, Rayot, waiting for the noodles to soften. Although the ancestral bird Gala divides the preferences of each person, Rayot usually prefers to be soaked in hot water for about a minute.

"Well, it's about time"

Around the second sip the king takes, Rayot hands on his own ramen. Sprinkle loose noodles in a good way, crush eggs, tangle moderately, and sip. The crisp toothpaste sprouts and the noodles of your taste match well, and the cheesy yet relieved taste spreads to your mouth.

"... good"

"That's good."

Aeris smiles at Rayot's thoughts. She often has a few ideas when eating instant ramen. It is good to eat as is, but it is also delicious to devise.

So instead of serving the cup udon that the king is eating with the water in it, he's adding a little kelp to it. Because I know it's also my father's preference.

"But when the chef finds out at this hour that the king is eating dinner in his daughter's room, he's going to be pretty lamented."

"I have no choice, Father. The rice the chef makes is very tasty, but if you make it to him now, the day will change."

"It's hard for them to ask for something simple, so get it ready soon..."

'Cause that's where the chef stands.'

From the pride of cooking at the royal palace, the chef doesn't like to cook hassle-free dishes. In the first place, the people who eat his dishes are basically royalty or nobility. There is no way to serve cluttered dishes that are the best things that can be eaten right away, like what the common people say. If you do that, if you do it poorly, your neck will fly.

Even if the majority of decent royalty and nobility have eaten meals with such crude as the average soldier or adventurer eats during the camp, and know they will not complain about it, it is a different matter from this.

"I could have done it in the dining room in the barracks..."

"Rayot, the barracks won't have the kind of leeway to serve us dinner. First of all, at this hour, the cook is long gone."

The king embarrasses Rayot, who speaks of impotence. In fact, only a few cooks live here at this hour, including the head chef. The cafeterias in the barracks and the Knights dormitories are cooked by people in the street. Besides, if you were there, in a cafeteria with a large number of war-torn, well-fed people and cutlets of ingredients every day, you wouldn't have much leeway to serve extra human beings with sudden interruptions.

Even for a servant's cafeteria, that's some kind of sanctuary. You can get in if you give an order, but it's not a place where noble things can get you in as a wheezer. Not to mention, you wouldn't be able to tell me to cook a meal there. That's what identity systems are for.

"Oh?"

I can hear Rayot and the king knocking on Aeris' room where they flattened the rest while talking about the lack of benefits.

"Who is it?

A samurai who pretended not to see a royal meal leaves next.

"It's Elaine. Is Aeris still awake?

"Yes, please wait a moment"

Ladies and gentlemen of the royal family who somehow look subtle for what they have done to Elaine. Not so many reasons to visit Aeris' room at this time, etc. The Queens and Elaine don't come at this hour because they tend to want to tear away the Aeris they've spoiled lately. It's not...

"To your sister, Brother Avin, and Brother Mark?

"Your brother and Mark got together there."

Aeris gives an even more indescribable expression to the fact that the princess has become overwhelmed. Because Elaine, anyway, has assumed that the purpose of the two brothers would definitely be a night meal.

"I was having dinner with Mark and the others today..."

"A lot of octogals are pushing me today."

"So I gave him too much dinner, and..."

Aeris sees the situation in the words of Avin and Mark and smiles inadvertently. They must have taken an extra amount, such as pushing me here on purpose and eating a night meal.

"So, what are you going to do?

"Right...... Cup me up normally."

"I'll stay with you today."

"Okay. Please wait inside. What about your sister?

"Right. If you're feeling a little sick this evening and can't eat much, you might want to eat something light."

When I nod at Elaine's words, I go and get something to suit each request.

"You're kind of in a strange situation..."

"Now if we gather all the way to our mothers, the royal family, excluding the babies, will be like that."

"It would be an amazing sight to normally think that the royal family is all set and eating instant ramen in the princess witch's room. Besides, if it was winter, you'd be wearing a dozen or nine."

A king who thinks of its pictorial facets in Elaine's words and makes a pretty subtle face. I'm not going to flinch when I'm royal, but I have to wonder how that picture looks on the boulder.

Aeris is purposefully renovating a corner of his room into flooring, laying a carpet and placing a shabu-shabu table, also to place the octopus. The truth was that the tatami was good, but I waited from various places, but it took me a while, so I just took off my shoes and made room to relax.

"Thank you for waiting"

"I'm sorry."

"Helpful"

Avin and Mark receive the cupmens and cup buckwheat that Aeris has prepared and will do so thank you. There is an extra walnut in the buckwheat, but I didn't add anything to the cupmen by saying this. There are surprisingly many types and quantities of utensils, so they didn't have many elements to serve.

"And your sister."

"Thanks"

Elaine receiving and thanking the half-sized original bird gala offered. Looks like the place in the mug is miso.

"If there's a kitchen in this room, I can serve you as simple as..."

"To a boulder. That wouldn't be the work of a princess or a princess?

"In the temple, we usually cook, don't we?

Ladies and gentlemen of the royal family with a small and bitter smile at the words of Aeris. When something happens, Aerys, who was probably my youngest until recently, will be the hardest to live.

"With that said, Aeris doesn't eat anything?

"I had a good meal today."

Hopefully, soak miso juice made instead of tea. There is no appliance or anything but a proper amount of miso dissolved in the juice, which is exactly the juice. Definitely something to describe as drinking rather than eating. In time, he seemed to wonder how to eat any more. As for salt, since training is manual labor in addition to the fact that the meal at the temple is originally low in salt gas, it is not particularly problematic if you drink about an extra cup of miso juice without utensils.

However, before that, the miso sold by Hongkong to Aeris is a salt reducing miso, so the salt content is not as high as expected.

"With that said, Elaine, how are you feeling these days?

"For better or for worse, I don't know. I'm back in muscle and weight a little bit, but if you're still caught off guard, there are times when eating is tough."

Avin and Elaine move on to family conversations, including recent physical fitness and events, with cleverly chopsticks and noodles. Occasionally, kings, rayots, marks, etc. also pinch their mouths. It is a very subtle sight as everyone uses chopsticks better than the bad Japanese.

"... oh?

The royal family was somewhat in vain even after the meal. More visitors come to the room.

"Sire, I don't think it's a good idea to monopolize the children just for yourself on the boulder!

"That's right. Even if not, because Master Elizabeth doesn't have much time to deal with her family in the care of her twins!

"Give us equal opportunities, too!

It was the three queens of King Legnas, as expected, who pushed me. If you ask, there was a tip-off from Octogall who was playing with the twins? It is a mysterious creature with no alarm or gap.

"Aeris, can I have some miso soup too?"

Okay, Mother.

"Mr. Aeris, if you don't mind, I'll take care of it."

"To me, too."

"Of course, sir."

Respond to the queens' request and prepare miso soup without utensils instead of tea.

"This fragrance, this flavour, is relieving..."

"After all, the people of this country should be able to drink miso soup at all times, Your Majesty"

"Even though it is a matter of miso production, this should not be monopolized by some humans"

The king can only snort bitterly at the words of the queens, who are completely fascinated by miso soup. Needless to say, we encourage increased production with regard to miso and soy sauce, as well as its raw material, soybeans, and we are also working with the Azma Workshop to teach know-how. However, it would take six months to make it if it didn't originally accelerate aging, etc., and I have made it something that some stores use for business, and I am only using something that I had taught Macro from an early stage to start making or something that I am purchasing at a low price from Forest Giant.

Even though there are more miso and soy sauce reserves on the steep pitch, considering that few have failed and rotted, it's going to take a few more years for ordinary people to be able to use it as a regular seasoning, and 10 years on a poor basis.

Even for rice, demand is dramatically dragging away supply. Other than that, there are few goods that are plain dependent on the village of Ortem. Thanks to this year, the village was very busy until a short while ago, and some elves and goblins are still busy with making instruction, etc.

"Elizabeth, how are things with Redrick and Elise?

"So far, I'm growing up fast in health. Octogall and the others are playing well."

"Mother. I'm subtly anxious to leave them babysitting..."

"It's the Iron Rule to borrow anything you can borrow to raise a child. Rayot, you can tell if you're a parent too."

Lady Elizabeth strongly affirms, for example. Two of the side chambers are also nodding.

"Elaine. There will come a time when you will have children, too. Whether it be us or Octogal, rely more and more on those you can rely on."

To my mother's words, Elaine snorts mysteriously. Such a royal regiment took place quite often, even after Avin entered his son-in-law and Elaine left with her daughter-in-law, until Rayot took office.
