Christopher heard something wrong with it, "How do you know the community is not safe?" James said nothing. He had inspected it last night. In addition to letting him, a stranger, go in and out at will, there were also cases of security personnel neglecting their duties at work. He said, "Don’t ask me how I know it. It’s not safe anyway."

Christopher snorted, but he thought of something, and said, "Did you send someone to repair it last night?" He guessed it, and James didn’t hide it, "Yes, It was me. It was a short circuit in the middle of the night. What if there was a fire?"

After seeing Yvonne’s post last night, he immediately sent someone to repair it. Christopher said to herself: if Janice knew that it was someone sent by James, she would probably consider James as the perverted serial killer. "What do you want to say?" Christopher asked.

James said, "Go back and tell your wife to take the house back. I have a better house."

"It’s not up to me."

"Really? You can’t even do this?" James complained.

Christopher sneered, " I’m having a baby, but you’re still single." James was dumbfounded by him, and said irritably, "Stop laughing at me. It’s up to you whether I can have a girlfriend this time. Please help me."

Hearing this, Christopher couldn’t help but say, "James, sometimes it requires some strategy when you’re chasing a girl, but it is by no means dominant. Attention is more important."

"Don’t lecture me. Just tell me if you’re helping me or not." James said impatiently. Christopher sighed helplessly. He knew the character of his friend. James was clever yet impetuous. He probably didn’t know why he had failed.

"I was driving and I’ll hang up." He hung up the phone, and there were some things that others couldn’t help with, so he could only realize it by himself. However, James didn’t realize it at all. He was pissed off when Christopher hung up his phone and refused to help him. He understood that as long as it was about Janice, he would stand by her without exception. He was henpecked.

Since Christopher wouldn’t help him, he decided to think of a way himself. He believed he could think of a better way. His phone rang suddenly, and it was his assistant, and James answered it, "Mr. Taylor, you asked me to check it last night, and I’ve checked it all."

"Go ahead," James said.

"The man with Miss White is Stanley Levingston, a newly hired expert internist from abroad with a high salary."

"It’s written on his profile in the hospital, and I don’t need you to find it out," James said impatiently.

Knowing your enemy was as important as knowing yourself. Since he saw them

together last night, he had decided to investigate the man named Stanley carefully.

The assistant paused, and then said, "Oh, yes, Stanley was a senior in Miss White’s medical school under the same professor."

"Did they have an intersection before?" James frowned.

The assistant said, "No, they were not in the same year at the time, so there was a very little intersection."

Hearing this, James was slightly relieved, "What else did you find?" The assistant said, "Oh, Miss White is no longer working in the hospital."

...

"Where did she go?" James lit a cigarette.

"We found out that Miss White joined a medical research laboratory a few days ago, and that laboratory was set up by Stanley."

Hearing this, James was surprised, and he slowly exhaled a ring of smoke. He said to himself: Stanley was ill-intentioned, and he poached her away from the hospital. It seemed that he intended to pursue her. No wonder Yvonne had become more and more disgusted with him and even said such cruel words. It turned out that she was secretly dating Stanley. He would never allow it.

He hung up the phone and stubbed out his cigarette. Stanley had hired her to increase his chances of getting close to her. He could do the same too. Since they worked together, then he should simply live with her. He believed he could get her. Thinking of this, James narrowed his eyes dangerously and picked up his phone to make a call. Sam was listening to Daniel’s work schedule in the office when he got James’ call. Just halfway through, her phone rang.

Daniel had to stop it and frowned, "Why didn’t you turn off your phone?" Sam said, "Sorry, I forgot to turn it off when I came in. I’ll turn it off now."

"Wait, who is calling?" Daniel asked suddenly.

Sam glanced at the phone, "It’s Mr. Taylor."

"James?" Daniel was confused.

Sam nodded. A doubt flashed in Daniel’s eyes. "Take it, and see what he will say."

Sam nodded and then walked aside to answer the phone. "Mr. Taylor."

Daniel sat there and watched her answering the phone. She nodded and agreed to something. Daniel frowned unhappily, and asked after she hung up, "Why did he call you? " He seemed to ask carelessly.

Sam paused, "Mr. Taylor invited me to dinner."

"You agreed?"

Sam said, "Mr. Taylor said he had something to tell me."

Daniel tugged at his tie, "Okay, you can leave."

"But you haven’t finished the work schedule." Sam hesitated.

"Just leave."

Daniel turned his chair aside and turned his back to her. He sounded a little impatient. Sam didn’t say anything. She turned and walked out. After she left, Daniel turned around and glanced at the phone in front of him, feeling somehow a little irritable. In the evening, Sam went to the appointment on time, and when she arrived at the restaurant, James had already arrived.

"Mr. Taylor."

James said, "Sit down."

Sam sat down, and felt very puzzled by James’s invitation, "Mr. Taylor, what do you want to tell me?" Sam asked directly.

James didn’t beat about the bush and put a bunch of keys in front of her. Sam looked dumbfounded at the bunch of keys, "Mr. Taylor, this is..."

James said, "This is my house with three bedrooms, more than 140 square meters, luxuriously decorated, and move- in ready. The most important thing is that it is only about 500 meters away from the club where you work."

Sam became more confused as she listened, "What do you mean, Mr. Taylor?"

James said, "It means you are moving out from the house where you live now." Sam looked stunned, but still didn’t understand his intentions, "Mr. Taylor, I like it here and do not need to move."

James said, "I know, but I need to use the house you live in now, so you need to move. This is the accommodation I’m providing for you. There is no charge. You can live there as long as you want."
