Gate of Amitilicia Online

Episode 67: Necromancer

The [stormy roar] unleashed by Quinn strikes directly at both the undead who were at the forefront. Both skeletal specimens that smash on the spot, or blow away as they involve subsequent. I jumped from Quinn's back into a new space.

Deploy [Magic Strike] on both hands and feet at the same time as landing. Launch an attack on the skeleton that was most recently there. It's basically the skull you're after. I feel like I've seen it all the time, lots of werewolf skeletons. Then if you seal your fangs, even if you didn't finish it off, you'd be less frequently attacked like you'd be wounded.

With his fist, with his kick, he buzzes through his skull. So I have a poor reaction to the individual who stops acting, the individual who loses his head and starts groping around on the spot, the individual who hits me as if he's not affected in any way. Personally, I was hoping to clean it all up in one shot.

Quinn's roar sounds again, and both Skeletons reduce their numbers even further. Then the march stopped. Is that what that Necromancer ordered? Then it's convenient.

Once, he bounced backwards several times and took an intermission from both the undead. Stand just in front of the Elves defensive line.

"Fi, Fist!? You, why...!

It was Zachris's voice I heard from behind. Turning around, there's Zachris with a surprise look on his face. You don't look particularly hurt, good.

"If you were in Zvand, the undead would invade. When I looked in the woods, I saw smoke, so I thought," No way. "

"Is Zvand being attacked too!?

"Oh. You should be in a fight by now. The city's guards and the Gentile will are intercepting. What's happening here more than that?

Let's check the status quo first. Take your gaze off Zachris, who deepens his surprise, and seek information while alerting both the undead to their movements.

"There are several injured people out there, but fortunately there are no dead. This situation is extremely difficult. In addition to the thin effect of the bow, it is sealed with spiritual magic"

"What? Sealed magic?

"The power of the Spirit is suppressed to be precise. It's not 20% more powerful than usual, even if it's used to attack."

Whoa, that's a lot of action with more than 80% less damage. That's deadly for an elf. There's nothing left of a decent attack. I can't even tell you to play melee with a little sword. Unlike when you're out hunting, the elves aren't even equipped with protective gear. Even Skeleton's fangs and nails are likely to suffer serious injuries.

"Do you have any idea what caused this?

"No. I don't think that magician is involved, but it doesn't seem like he's doing anything directly."

Surely that necromancer, especially now, doesn't look like he's doing anything. What is this, did you plant something before the invasion? Is there something like extensive sorcery or ritual sorcery that works for a certain amount of time? But seal the Spirit, huh? Well, is that the discomfort you felt when you went into [the lost forest]? I couldn't feel the power of a tree spirit.

"Hmm, Gentiles?"

Beyond the herd of undead, a necromancer looked at me and said grumpy.

"I don't need you. I can lose you."

"Do I? Fuck my friends. Besides, can you leave a ghost like raiding the city alone?"

"Hehe, what can I do for you? Half of us can't even be our soldiers."

Ooh, you're so confident. I don't deny that the difference in force is overwhelming.

"Half of it would be you. Don't act separately. Stay with the guy who's attacking Tsvand. It would be an extra hassle."

When it's dispersed over there, we have to split our power over there. If these assholes hadn't attacked Zachris and the others, they would have had defense fights by now. I honestly don't think I can afford Quinn. He thinks it's a smart way to wait for Luke and the others to rush.

So buy some time. And I'll gather as much information as I can.

"Why are you attacking this place in the first place? Are you telling me you're not talking to the guy who's attacking Zvand?

"It's my brother's plan to attack the city. My brother is a great Necromancer, not even if I give him a hand. The reason I attack here is to procure fresh materials. To replenish my brother's power, and for my research. That's all."

Materials are meant to make Zachris and the others zombies!? You son of a bitch...

And the Necromancer of Zvand is this guy's brother? Are you a brother and a necromancer...... hmm? Brother the Necromancer?

"Are you the Sheobese brothers?

I remember. There was definitely one of those guys in the bounty neck. It's not a player, it's a resident's bounty neck. Rank is definitely a pretty big guy in B grade. Murder was committed, but it was the graveyard vandalism that was at the top of the list as the main sin, so the rank didn't fall in the heart and was remembered. I didn't know you were a necromancer. Well, it doesn't look much like a sketch of an arrangement! That doesn't change the person, but don't make it real to that place, GAO!

"Oh, you know us. Celebrities are tough."

That's just great. Us, my brother Sheobese, with his golden hair up in self-admiration. Wow, wow... some kind of Askie Art thing.

"Even if it's famous, it's notorious. If it bothered anyone else, you could have made a dungeon somewhere and lived in hiding for the rest of your life."

"What a fool."

I'll tell you to throw it away, and yes, it's hard to say that my brother Sheobese laughs with his nose...... These guys' names, what was that? No, I can't remember because I remembered it on the set. Well, I'll call this guy Otoja (tentative) certified.

"We have gained strength. We deserve it. Then there is one thing to do. Let the world know its power!

Buh, and Otoja screams with a tranced look as she spreads her arms.

"That first step is the Zvand offense. Ravage the city with an army of immortals of your brother, add the dead to your distribution, and conquer the kingdom of Fallula with further armies! And we will conquer other countries, and we will blow the name of the Sheobese brothers all over the continent!

Exaggerated B. I'd say, don't worry about the power these guys got. And the army of the undead. Graveyard vandalism isn't the only number we can handle. Besides, it also hooks me up that there are more beast shapes than human shapes. These guys, where did you source all that material from?

"Unfortunately, that's impossible."

I'm in good shape. I'll tell Gess.

"There are quite a few Gentiles in Zvand. Except when it comes to the individualized fighting power of the undead, which is the devil clan, there's no reason to lose."

I don't know how it actually is. It is also true that the durability of the skeleton is not that high. Blades and spike weapons may be hard to get through the damage, but the bone itself doesn't mean it's hard out of standard. Plus I hear more guys with strike weapons in reserve since one of Einfast's cases. I don't think so.

All we have to do later is pray that the major guilds are staying. [Silverblade] is struggling alone in the woods, and the [Freedom Warriors] can't join the war while they're doing another request. I wish I had a guild that could rush conveniently.

"If you don't want to say goodbye to your brother forever, I think you should go help him out. Don't overlook making your friends rotten corpses even over here."

"What are you saying? He's a second-rate necromancer who rots corpses."

Otoja's left hand disappeared into space in an attempt to make a fool of herself. Hmm, is that [space storage]? And it was taken out of... people!?

The age is a redhead guy who feels like he's in his early twenties. The equipment is platemailed on a bastard sword. It's adventurous...

"This guy was an adventurer wandering the woods about two months ago. It's my work now, but it's good, isn't it? Naturally, I'm not corrupt or anything. Some abilities are less than they were in their lifetime, but they are not comparable to such things as elephant skeletons and zombies. It's also advantageous to have intelligence, albeit low."

There is no light in my eyes, I can't feel the will. And from Otoja's point of view, you mean that guy is undead, too? There was also a certain TRPG called Necromancer who made zombies with that kind of intelligence. Buau Zombie, was it?

Boasting his work, Otoja took out other Buau Zombies. Heavy warriors, bandits, and magicians? Well, magicians are out of the question, heavy warriors and bandits are troublesome. Can [space storage] also store undead?

"Kukukuk...... I can't help but look forward to it now, considering when the elves joined here! Don't worry, I'll love you forever as my work! No bow works, no spiritual magic you guys have no winning eyes!? Because I don't want to hurt the body as much as possible! Surrender!

Otoja laughs a lot when she says things like that.

"Hey, Zachris. Can't you just shoot him from here?

I don't think the elves would be able to do that. Only at times like this can I smash my head first.

"He came here to hunt us. With measures to disable us. I've been shooting at him many times since he showed up, but it's all been played. They must be using some sort of arrow-shielding magic or something."

But the abominable voice of Zachris. Hmm, Otoja guy, how powerful are you? You're not a high level necromancer or someone I can handle...

"There's nothing for the Gentiles who don't have any bodies left. But I'll get Stormwolf there. I'll make the most of you as an immortal."

"Ho..."

I can't just forgive you for turning the elves into zombies, and you think Quinn is too? Ha ha... you're kidding me...

"I'll give you back your prized undead!

"Not as good as my brother, but me and the good Necromancer. Besides, I don't know what you can do with your footprints!

Otoja started casting spells with a black evil hobby wand with a dokuro design. The fireball that occurs at the end of the wand gradually grows larger. This guy, while the Necromancer says this, is a magic attack cool!?

A few arrows flew over my head. It must be someone in the elf who let it go. Magic fireballs scatter flames at the same time as they hit the subject. If you shock that fireball, it should burst on the spot.

But the arrows didn't arrive. Neither the adventurer zombie who stood in front of Otoja, nor the armored knight who stood to surround Otoja, moved at all, but the arrow was bounced off and fell as if it had hit an invisible wall. Is this why Otoja can afford it? The arrow just now contained [Magic Strike], but it still doesn't make sense.

"Well, I'll pay you back!

At the same time as Otoja's voice, there was something moving. That's a man-shaped skeleton. Until just now there should have been very few human-shaped skeletons, where nearly a hundred bodies sprang from!? Besides, what you have in your hand is a bow, and an arrow is a fire arrow.

Skeleton's archers fired arrows one after the other. The arrows head up into the air, drawing parabolas and falling. Most to the elves, some to the emerald trees.

In contrast, some elves release interception arrows. It's a tremendous divine business to shoot down flying arrows, but not everyone can do that exactly, and not always. And against the falling arrows, the elves are defenseless. Usually you can play an arrow with the spiritual magic of the wind, but now that the power of the spirits is sealed, it seems useless. Some villagers have shields, but that's not all they can outdo. Many screams were heard from behind.

There roared the wolf. The resulting storm blows some of the arrow rain. [The storm roar] hasn't diminished its power at all because it's not the power of spirit-dependent.

But the next arrow came down. The Elves are losing interception power, and Quinn doesn't seem to be able to use [Storm Roar] continuously, so I can't help him this time. It's nasty to come shooting arrows at me not at the same time, but at different times. The elves stopped moving almost entirely.

Otoja unleashed a fireball as if he had anticipated it. We're not after him! Cuisine tree!?

"Shit!"

Reflectively pull out the dagger and aim for the fireball with [Magic Strike]. It was dangerous because I had never targeted anything flying at high speeds, but still luckily it was a big fireball with a diameter of about a metre. And a critical landing.

The fireball bursts, scattering noise and heat. He doesn't even seem to be flying because of his distance from Cuisine Tree. But you had to crash on the way down. You were definitely hit by the Cuisine Tree. No matter how many branches you say are stretched wide, you get fireballs from that place... and it's not.

"What are you going to...?

Cuisine Tree is a base for Elves. I didn't know you'd bother to hurt that.

"If a burning tree were to fall from the top, could you care and concentrate?

Are you going to keep this one from focusing on combat? What's wrong with this guy? Don't let bad wisdom work.

"But more than that, it seems like an important tree to the elves. I look forward to the look on that tree's face when it burns out."

This guy, you knew that and you fucked him...

Otoja with an unpleasant grin. There was a crumb there to rejoice in not questioning my superiority and haunting the weak.

Sounds like a villain, I guess I should just say. I've never seen a resident (NPC) so heartily upset. There is no hesitation at all because it is human.

So I said. Thoughtful, emotional.

"I'll shatter it!
