How to Live as the Enemy Prince

< Chapter 9. Check (1) >

Kalian just got up from his seat and left the room ready. But I usually went straight out of the palace, not the restaurant, and had breakfast with Remain.

After breakfast, I had a simple ceremony. Then you greet Remain and climb on Raven's back.

In front of Kalian were Arsena, Kiri and Jan on the left and right, and Hina, who could heal. And knights in black clothing plummet back and forth.

The royal carriage would have had a royal crest on it, but Khalian did not bear the mark of being royal. It was a noticeable appearance, but it was still more Calianese than the others. It was because I thought there was nothing good to do if I stood up and declared myself royal.

As the prince who resembles the Sispanian leaves Roselita, a group of couriers gather around the city from the square to the outskirts of Cairosis.

In front of them, Kalian steps forward.

There was no fancy wagon, but there was a Siegfried knight. And among them was Calian, who showed his presence. Because it was never lacking compared to the previous princes, the sound of cheer and prayer was heard every step of Kalian's way.

Prince's rite of passage.

The only chance to meet the will of Sigmund Khan Sispanian.

Roselita has begun.

* * *

There was no problem for a few days after departure.

The king's palace had been contacted in the cities where Kalian was going and was not the number of knights to reach. After the fight, Kalian sits comfortably on Raven's stoop and talks with Jan, just as the imagination was broken.

And sometimes I heard Alan's voice.

- Yes, Master. Is everything all right?

- Suddenly, the envoys are from Tensylvania. Le Maine is busy, so the old man is perfect for her alone.

Callian looks a little disappointed, hoping to sit on Raven's stoop and chat with Alan for a moment. I surround myself with it, but I understand that Remain is busy and Alan is also distracted.

- You must be busy.

- Apparently so.

Jan asked as she looked at the ring with an excited face and saw Kalian quickly retrieving Mana from the ring.

"Lord Manasil says he can't deal with you?"

"Yeah, he's busy."

"It's even more amazing that you keep having conversations like that every day. I'll take care of it. Stop it for free."

Calian looks around, smiling awkwardly, as if nothing had happened.

The Khalian group is now passing through the forest of Latria and headed for a city called Latran. The king circling through the low forest also saw ten rounded lakes below. Strangely, the lakes were very similar in shape to each other and each one was considerably larger in size.

In fact, even the lake was almost dry.

Naturally, it was not a lake made of water.

It was an artificial lagoon made by the Sispanians that was sure to come down from there. Of course, the dragon did not want to build a lake in a place like this without doing anything. It was a place where water was drawn and dropped by evil gods.

Kalian smiles awkwardly as he glances at it.

"I'm going to see the man who left a trail in the valley that hasn't vanished in 500 years."

"Then don't be too burdened, you're not meeting the wise man."

"Yes, you should."

"Would you like to take a look around the lake and eat here? We have a couple of hours to get to Latran, and there's nowhere else to rest."

There was no particular reason to refuse.

Jan's been through here a few times and not Callian. Because of this, Kalian agrees kindly, and the group moves to a flat grove just outside the royal archipelago.

Calian, who was leaning on Raven's bridge, was busy grazing the grass, handed over a sandwich from the previous city. Immediately, Hina approaches and brings out a glass of water to Khalian and Yan.

"Thank you."

Hina nods, smiling, and sees you sitting next to Kiri. Yan who saw it said.

"Kiri packed a lot of hinas."

"She's my sister."

Yan said that with a smile.

"My brother would love to take care of you like that."

It was the first time Jan brought up the family story.

As Jan stepped away from the palace, she seemed to return to her original form rather than her servant. For now. I didn't ask him to eat, but he's sitting next to me by himself.

Jan shakes his head, shaking his head as he looks at Kalian's curiosity about the family story that Jan brings out.

"There's a kid knitting his brother who's sleeping because he didn't give him a birthday present, and the prince will see him soon. Be careful."

Calian smiles, not putting the last piece of bread in his mouth. It's because I imagined it. Jan must have been bawling.

After a short meal, Kalian gets up from his seat and tries to climb back onto Raven's back.

But then I heard a strange sound.

- Sasha!

A little sound coming through the bushes.

Along with him, you can see the dense bushes leading into the forest waving to the left and to the right. As Calian looks at the place, Kiri approaches and stands in front of him.

The knights are also fortified with Khalian and Yan in the center.

"No, wait."

I was going to say that Kalian doesn't seem to have to be this vigilant, but a much smaller human being pushes his head out of the bush. Then he looks at the knights and wizards who are aiming at him, and he looks stunned. Then he raised his hands and shouted.

"Yes! Help me!"

What's that sound?

Knights who didn't understand the words frowned. Kalian frowns for a slightly different reason. It may have been familiar to Siegfried's knights, but not to Callian.

Little In-young was a boy with a single head, with ears slightly longer and sharper than those of a human.

Keeri, who was always speechless, looked at the child and opened his mouth without me even knowing it.

"Elves?"

The elf boy slowly rises to his feet as if he were answering the question.

The great tribute to Calian's peaceful journey began with one Elven boy who suddenly appeared like this.

Seeing an elf's intact ear for the first time in his life, the elf said, no wonder.

"I, Shea."

Now everyone's face shows the same look. I couldn't understand what that Elf was saying until now.

The eyes of the Knight Yuan turn to Khalian.

"What would you do?"

Either we put the pointy sword in the wrong intruder, or we just have to keep our guard up.

Elves don't attack people. I'm not a very good liar.

Calian gestures to put the sword away, thinking it would be a good idea to let his guard down a little. With him, the knights' swords are picked up.

Calian looks at the elf's face with a slight bend in his waist.

"Tsia? Is that your name?"

"Yes, I'm hungry."

"Are you here for food?"

"I was hiding."

It seemed like a conversation, but I couldn't understand it strangely.

I don't know what he's talking about. Callian scratches his cheek with that face. After considering it for a long time, Kalian turns his head to look at Kiri. I wanted to ask if all the Elves were like this, but Kiri was looking at Kalian with the same face. Of course, it was no different than the Hina standing next to him.

Calian smiles helplessly at the expression on his face.

"Yes, you don't know that."

Callian scratches his cheek once more and opens his mouth.

"What are you doing here?"

"Right. Sorry."

Mmm-hmm.

Kalian considers whether he can put this conversation behind him and feed him a little more patience.

Suddenly, Calian's eyes changed.

Calian smiles slowly and opens his waist.

"· · · · · · · If someone was coming after you, you should have told them that first."

You hear horse hooves.

It was not a big problem on its own. It's just that they're coming straight for Calian's group. They have a sword in their hand. Above all, it was a matter of leaking speculation that could not be longed for.

The knights again place their hands on the hilt of the sword.

"Thank you."

An elf named Sia, who said that, gripped the edge of Calian's clothing with a tear. I didn't understand what he was saying earlier, but I could recognize his behavior. I meant to ask for help.

Calian smiles without me knowing that it's easier to talk without opening his mouth. Callian replies with a tremendous voice to the gesture of his hand asking for help.

"Let's take a look."

First, Kalian pulls out the robe that was tied to Raven's saddle and covers her head. Then he sent Xia to the back and said to Kiri,

"Take her."

Kyrie nods, taking Xia and standing next to me.

In the meantime, the knights who stood in front of Kalian are always ready to draw their swords, and Arsen is ready to open his shield at any time. Then Calian checks the knife in his sleeve for a moment.

But I thought there might be something to bring it out. There was only one horse coming.

- Polygon, polygon.

Soon he approaches the group and stops.

Calian turns his head toward the approaching young man, not even caring what a black-haired boy with twenty knights is with him.

He was a man with long hair. I don't know where the soldier belongs, but I dress up as a soldier. The man steps forward to take a quick look at the group.

You can't seem to recognize Kalian just by looking at him and not seeing any reaction. So Callian thought it was a little strange.

'They must be from any noble or merchant guild. It's not like they don't know where I'm going.'

Then the egg stepped forward.

Fortunately, I didn't do anything unnoticed to tell the other party who Calian was.

"Who are you?"

"A thief is chasing after a stolen object. Have you seen any strange children?"

It was not the answer to the question. The egg frowns and says.

"You don't look like a thief."

"There's a face for thieves."

"Back off, he's not here."

The man glances at the group once more.

Then I found the robed child standing in the corner. The man laughs because it looked suspicious to anyone.

"I think I have one. Let me take a look at it. I'm not here to fight with knights, so please clear the way."

Immediately, the man steps off his horse and approaches the group.

I was reluctant to come in without hesitation where there were twenty knights. Since Jealousy was an indispensable soldier, I wanted to know if there was anything I could believe. I felt something for Kalian when he looked around.

Either he noticed the same thing or the egg looked a little more cautious. Then he picked up his sword and said again, blocking the man's face.

"Stop."

Kalian looks at the egg for a moment and steps forward.

A man's corner of trust. In other words, he hid in the opposite bush and noticed that there were several bows facing this way.
