Fortunately, the door was not locked. And the first thing that greeted me as soon as the door opened was the rotten smell that pierced my nose. It was only natural that the power was cut off and the refrigeration wouldn't work. There was a thin layer of dust to see if there was any sign of human entry.

Only then did I call Chae-yeon in a small voice with relief. Chae-yeon, who was staring at me blankly, responded to my voice and moved slowly toward me. And naturally reached out his hand. I smiled and held that hand and looked around.

And first of all, I headed to the beverage compartment. Naturally, the refrigerator where the drinks were displayed was turned off. However, he quickly opened the door and began to pack several small water bottles, as there was no fear of water going bad. I couldn't pack them in this little Kitty bag, so I searched around the inside of the convenience store for something to hold.

And luckily I found a big backpack at the counter. The backpack was full of books, papers, and pens, and perhaps the employee who was working part-time was a student. I packed a few pens because I had to keep a diary, and filled one of my most important bags with drinking water.

And I put some water bottles in Kitty's bag that I had before and carried them to Chae-yeon. The child looked at me as if he was wondering what this was, and I smiled and told him it was emergency, and he nodded small.

And the first thing that came to mind was canning. Canning is long and safe. And it was nutritious for a preserved food, and it adhered to its taste. I took the child's hand and headed for the canning compartment, and began to sweep the visible canning as I could.

While I was stacking cans in my bag, I looked to the side and the child was gone. Surprised, I looked around and Chae-yeon was staring blankly at the snack cart. It was a child who had his fingers in his mouth and looked at the snack cart.

When I told him to pick up one in a small voice, the child picked up a colorful cookie with a quick motion. I looked at it with satisfaction and packed some small biscuits for Chae-yeon. After taking care of it for such a long time, I looked into the bag and found it half full of canned food that I used to enjoy.

I tried to put more canned food, but when I saw the remaining canned food, the volume was useless and it was hard to eat because it was not tasty without cooking. I pulled myself up to find a product like the canned goods I packed. Inside the convenience store, there is a storeroom that stacks things up before they are displayed. I'll pack a few more there, and get out of here quickly. I told Chae-yeon to finish her snacks and walked to the warehouse.

The door was closed but not locked. I opened the door without hesitation, and as soon as I opened it, the stale smell and dust came into my nose. And strangely rotten me was vibrating. Was the food rotten at first? I thought about it, but this smell was worse and worse than the smell of food rotting. I frowned and blocked my nose.

I looked back and forth to check inside the dark warehouse. And by the time the eyes slowly got used to the darkness they could find something squatting on one side of the warehouse. I was suffocated with breath. At the moment I felt dizzy and almost screamed, but I hurriedly closed my mouth to hold back the scream.

Something crouched in such efforts was rising, perhaps recognizing me. And by the grotesque cries that came, my mind was far removed. It's him.

The body stiffens as if facing a predator. The fear of death once again appeared before my eyes. Biting his lip. Time flies slowly. I took a step backward. And desperately try to get a stiff head. No matter how hard I thought about it, I couldn't find the answer. In the end, I screamed out like a scream, as my instincts told me to.

'Chaeyeon!!! Run away!!’

As soon as I screamed, he turned his head fast, and ran to me quickly. His eyes were glowing red like the night before. When he ran at me, I reflexively grabbed his shoulder. I felt a great deal of power in him. I was badly pushed and hit the wall. I struggled desperately to push him down, but his strength was not normal. I could feel his strength through my shoulders. He kept banging his teeth on my teeth, whether he was trying to chew me, and his eyes were only on my neck.

The flesh on his teeth stood out. And in his mouth, I vibrated because of the rotting body. I tried to get away from him by swallowing up the rising vomit. Then I turned my neck hard and looked in the direction Chae-yeon was in. And he called the child pitifully.

Chae-yeon was sitting down. There was crumbs around his mouth whether he was eating snacks. I shouted for her to run away, but Chae-yeon was unable to move, perhaps because of fear. My eyes were filled with tears, and my mouth was helplessly open, staring at me with murky eyes.

Perhaps the child was reminded of the nightmare of that time. No matter how hard I shouted to run away, Chae-yeon couldn't move. Many thoughts crossed my head when I saw Chae-yeon staring at me blankly and then the teeth coming back to my neck.

If I die, it'll be Chae Yeon's turn. If Chae-yeon runs away, will she be able to live in this world with that young body? Was it right to just be there? It was such a vain ending. I last met Chae-yeon and closed my eyes.

If I die here, this nightmare will be over. Maybe we're going back to that day. It may hurt a little, but it'll be a moment. I closed my eyes and slowly began to relax my hands. His teeth looked like a guillotine that hit my neck at once. Yeah, let's stop now.

'Daddy.'

Chae-yeon must have said so then. The child's father died that day. Leaving his family behind, he ran away to live alone and died on the spot. Does Chae-yeon call her father the moment she dies? Or do they think I'm a dad in an unwholesome spirit?

What was clear was that it was my father who woke me up in that situation. I woke up as if I had been struck by lightning on my head, and my hands, which had been pushed back, were strengthened. Sympathy, remorse, joy, delusions. A mixture of complex emotions confused me. But strangely, such feelings began to give my body a boost.

The distant mind came in strangely clear and brightened the view. I can see his face. I chewed my lips. Then the lips tore and blood formed. The blood trickled into the mouth. The blood splashes gasoline on the dead firewood. My heart began to burn rapidly. Adrenaline slowly spreads over the head. And anger at him rises.

I didn't want to end here. It was a useless life. I, I didn't want to die of that crap. I said that in my mouth and pushed him away desperately. I'm gonna save the kid. And I'm going to live, too. I turned my head and looked at Chae-yeon. Now I didn't yell at Chae-yeon to run away. Just told me to wait. I'll be there soon.

Fear is going away. The desire to live and the anger of those who try to take it back push out fear. The man in front of my eyes shines red. I didn't lose, and I burned my fighting spirit before that look. Still he was obsessed with my blood and flesh, pushing my hand with strong force.

He doesn't get tired. I knew there was no chance for me to wrestle with this force, so I grabbed his neck with one hand and pushed him away, and looked over the side with the other hand. The act of trying to catch something made me hold something in my hand as if it were fate.

I held it tightly in my hand and lifted it into my sight. I had one ugly pair of scissors in my hand that I had in place to tear the box off the warehouse. I grabbed it and put it in his chin without hesitation. The first attack was blocked by a jawbone. But I didn't finish it in one go. The second attack was half-stabbed in his cheek, and I desperately pulled the scissors back and put it under his chin.

The feeling of something getting caught and the feeling of pork splitting can be felt on the fingertips to the head. A small shudder flowed. The scissors were half-way through his jaw. It must have been an effective hit, and that rotten blood spilled out, and I closed my eyes and lips reflexively. His power began to drain, and I didn't miss it.

I raised my foot, kicked him in the stomach, pushed him hard in the chest. The pierced scissors were valid, so he fell down badly. I could see him shivering and making strange noises. I felt it wasn't a good time to do this. I stumbled and kicked him in the head.

I exhaled roughly. We have to take his breath away. I calmly looked around and found a weapon to kill him. Then he found a mop sack on one side, and ran toward it, stumbling. I grab a mop sack made of wood, step on it and break the head.

The tip of the mop was sharply broken when it was lifted with trembling hands. I stepped on the rotten blood that he poured out without any time to waste, approached him without hesitation and stabbed a mop in his head.

But with these sloppy weapons, he couldn't pierce his skull. I ended up holding a mop bag like a bat and slapping it on his head with all my might. You have to blow your head. You don't die at once. I shot his head down like a madman, and after a moment, he stopped moving with something popping.

His red eyes slowly lost their light as if they were discharged, and I grabbed a broken mop sack and swallowed my saliva with a rough breath. Then he threw something up on one side that suddenly soared. I vomited for a long time and got up holding my trembling hand.

As she looked at the child in a hurry, Chae-yeon cried and held out her arms as if asking me to hug her. I hesitated and ran and hugged Chae-yeon in my arms. They shared their harsh breaths and waited for the tremors to slowly disappear.

We had no power to move, so we stuck his body on one side, and we came into the warehouse. Then they locked the thick warehouse door, and blocked the entrance with heavy commodity materials. We recovered our strength by eating cans and drinking water, and as the sun went down, the child fell asleep quickly, perhaps tired.

I turned on the flashlight I found at the convenience store and recorded everything that happened today in my diary.
