Chapter 427: Idiots, Surrender
Bam!
Kate’s knuckles enclosed in the black fingerless gloves connected with the face of the guy.
Crack!
The sound of bones cracking could be heard as the guy was launched flying backwards, without even having a chance of screaming.
Thud!
He collapsed onto the ground, his body not moving. And at this point, it was difficult to be able to tell if he was alive or dead.
The other three were left completely dumbfounded. They look at Kate in horror, as they immediately retreated.
First of all, they were shocked by the sudden attack, and the power of the attack. There was no prelude to Kate’s attack, which made it difficult for them to be able to identify what type of ability she possessed.
Additionally, the strength that she had demonstrated was something that they had not anticipated in the slightest. Even the bulky guy, the leader of the group, did not dare to face Kate head-on.
Initially, after he had realized that Kate had made a move, he was obviously infuriated. Despite the fact that he did not like the words that had provoked Kate, uttered by his own underling, he still had to protect him.
Yet, he failed to react in time, and it was only when he realized that they had completely underestimated Kate that he retreated.
Kate did not bother to say anything else. She completely ignored the guy that she had just launched flying with a punch, as she gazed at the rest of the group.
By this point, she realized, these four were not strong at all. At least, they were not strong enough to be able to cause her to feel threatened.
If they had been stronger, they should have at least been able to react to her attack. Even though it was sudden, at least, by the time that she finished attacking, someone would have already been on her.
This was something that left her disappointed. Without pressure, there was nothing for her to gain here.
Therefore, she had no intention of keeping the rest of the group.
With the decision made, she immediately launched yet another attacker towards the bulky guy, who was obviously the leader of the group.
As she attacked, she thought, since he was the leader, he was definitely the strongest of the group. Hence, she hoped that he would offer some resistance, and if possible, make it difficult for her to be able to deal with him initially.
The moment that the leader of the group realized that Kate was charging towards him, his expression shifted.
He wanted to retreat, but clearly, Kate was not going to give them that chance. Hence, he thought, they could only fight to see who would win.
Even though he didn’t have the confidence to defeat her, he still believed that if he went all out, he would be able to escape eventually.
Looking at the approaching Kate, he immediately kicked towards her. He could not allow her to get close, as he knew that she was strong, despite her slim physique.
Kate did not dodge the attack that was launched towards her. She continued moving forward, and at the same time, she raised one of her hands to block the kick.
Bam!
The leg and the forearm connected, and the sound of the collision could be heard by those observing the fight.
It was just that, the moment that the clashed, the expression of the bulky guy twisted. He felt tremendous pain coming from his leg that had just collided with Kate, making him flinch.
He wanted to retract his leg, so that he could prepare to attack or defend against Kate’s attack. But before he could do that, Kate suddenly grabbed his ankle.
Before the guy could even react, she suddenly tugged at the leg, pulling it towards her. Immediately, the guy nearly lost his balance, as he was dragged towards Kate.
Despite him trying to resist, he realized that Kate was actually stronger than himself. That was despite the fact that the ability that he possessed was one that increased his strength by 2 times.
He had already activated his ability, but even then, there was no difference between activating the ability or not.
Upon realizing that he could not resist being pulled, he made an immediate position. The leg that was still on the ground pushed against it, as he launched that leg, trying to kick Kate in the head.
He had already realized that the only way out for him was to attack. At the same time as he attacked, he was infuriated by the fact that, despite such a long time going by, the other two had not made a move.
For the time being, due to the pressure that he was facing from Kate, he could not see what they were doing. Therefore, he could only shout, "What are you idiots waiting for? Are you waiting for her to take me down, before she takes you down one after the other?"
He spoke rapidly, and as he was finishing speaking, he suddenly panicked. That was because his other leg had also been grabbed.
Without any leverage to hold him up, his back that was already in the air began falling. He quickly used his hands, trying to prevent his back from smashing against the ground.
But before he could do that, Kate used both of his legs, swinging him around, before throwing him against the wall.
Bang!
The bulky guy smashed against the wall, and he began coughing as he collapsed onto the ground.
Despite the pain, he still quickly tried to get up, ready to face Kate. At the same time, he spared some of his attention to look at the other two. It was only at this moment that he realized that the other two had already disappeared.
"F*ck!" His face lost color as he cursed loudly. At this point, he realized, he was done for.
From the confrontation, he had already realized that he had no chance against Kate. He could not fight back in the slightest.
Not only was Kate strong, but for some reason, her bones were also hard. That was something that he had noticed after his leg clashed against her forearm.
And more than that, it was clear that Kate was not alone. There was another lady, who had not yet made an appearance. Who she was, what kind of ability she had, and how strong she was, he could not tell.

This showed that this lady was holding back. Otherwise, judging from the way that she had handled the guy who had provoked her, by now, he should have at least gotten several of his bones broken.

Just as he was about to tell Kate that he was willing to surrender, two consecutive screams came from another part of the building.
The bulky guy could immediately recognize the owners of the voices. They were definitely those two idiots that had decided to run away.
From those screams, he could tell that they were terrified. Clearly, they did not meet a good end.
Still, he was not sure if he was supposed to be happy that those that had tried to abandon him had end up being caught, or he should be sad that with all of them being caught, the probability of being rescued was going to be lower?
Despite the complexity of his thoughts, he looked at Kate, who was looking at him. From her expression, clearly, she already knew what had happened, and did not seem to care about what had happened.
"I surrender." The guy stated. Instead of dying, he wanted to be taken in. Even though he would face punishment for all that they had done, it was better than dying.
Kate did not say anything, as she shifted her attention to the guy that she had attacked first. Upon close observation, she realized that he was still alive.
But from her attack, she believed that if he did not receive immediate treatment, there was a high probability that he would die. But even then, even if he was treated, he might end up in a coma.
She did not bother to deal with him or request help for him to be saved. She did not possess any information on him, therefore, she was not sure about the way that he usually acted.
But from his words, definitely, he was the type of guy to take advantage of ladies. Kate did not make this judgment fully based on what he had said. Instead, it was the look in his eyes that made her believe that he was that kind of guy.
Kate continued standing in place, and the bulky guy did not move. He understood that they were waiting for the other lady to appear.
A few seconds later, the sound of footsteps could be heard. Then, two figures with pale faces appeared. They were the two that had just run away not long ago.
Looking at them, they did not have a single injury on them. But the look in their eyes, it was as if they had just faced something horrifying.
