The entries were applied, which made these stats even more ridiculous because now he had to show his own card.
In front of these four, he was nothing but a mere ant. This dungeon was his first ever, which made him feel a bit ashamed.
But instead of caring enough, he said right away. "My card is there too, Ma’am."
The woman spared him a single look before taking his card. She began scribbling the entries swiftly; the markings disappeared magically once again.
’Well... I still am not fond enough to see it disappear like that,’ Ethan said inwardly.
Then she wrote down the numbers carefully.

Gently she placed his card on the table; one by one she slid all five cards forward. Sara picked her card, and the others did the same.
Even Ethan didn’t waste time and grabbed his card right away. He took a good look at it before a thought came to mind. ’My first dungeon... I can’t believe that I went from reading about this novel to attempting dungeons.’
A short chuckle left him, which drew the attention of the other members of the squad.
They looked at him, smiling like madmen while looking at the card.
All of them spared each other a look before Sara grabbed Ethan by his shoulder and asked. "Are you fine, Ethan?"
Her words were definitely something he didn’t expect to hear. But he soon realised that he actually was laughing quite loudly for others to take notice of him.
He glanced around him and found out that other adventurers were looking at him, but their expressions were different. Some looked with confusion in their eyes, and the others piteously.
He scratched the back of his neck and looked at Sara from the corner of his eye before answering. "Uh... I was just trying to fathom that I completed my first dungeon."
A small pause before he continued again. "And on top of that, it was a C-Tier dungeon."
Sara’s expression softened; she gently placed her hand over Ethan’s shoulder. Her grip over his shoulder tightened; it wasn’t much but enough to make it seem firm. "I know that feeling. Even I felt that, not just me but everyone on our team."
"That’s exactly what we all felt. Just a day ago, you were an ordinary person training for this moment. And now, you’ve claimed your first loot, felt the adrenaline rushing through your body, and even stood face-to-face with death. That feeling: the fear, the excitement, the rush. All of it is something which you’ll remember for the rest of your adventurer career. Because the adventure is where your journey truly begins." She let out a loud laugh.
Even the other members had circled Ethan. Max was standing with his arms crossed; a huge grin remained on his face. Sylv had her arms tucked behind her back; Micah was holding his rosary.
Ethan looked at them once, then back at Sara. Their friendly and cooperative gesture made him realise that he had companions to share his feelings with. That thought reassured him. After all, he was nothing more than a human from another world, trapped inside the body of a literal bastard who had been thrown out of his household.
Then Ethan remembered the faces of Isolde and Athena; the feeling of uncertainty swirled across his face. He looked at Sara and said. "Can we go back home? My wives might be waiting for me and also your friend Elena." Ethan’s tone remained respectful.
Sara didn’t say anything. She simply gave a small nod before turning toward the others.
"We’ll take our leave now. You all should get some rest too, because tomorrow is going to be a hectic day."
Everyone else simply nodded in agreement. They all knew exactly what was waiting for them tomorrow.
Sylv stepped closer to Sara, opened her arms, and embraced her in a deep hug. "I’ll miss you, big sister, Sara."
Sara’s expression softened once again before she patted Sylvia’s head a few times. "I’ll miss you too, but don’t worry because I’ll meet you tomorrow once again."
"You better, or else I’m going to throw a huge tantrum at you."
Her words drew a small laugh from Sara as she hugged Sylv tightly. After a few seconds, she let go and looked at Ethan.
"Let’s go."
Ethan nodded, and the two of them made their way out of the guild, walking side by side toward their society.
After a few minutes, they had already left the guild hundreds of metres behind. Currently, they were travelling through the outskirts of the forest, while Ethan remembered that Sara told the others about something important.
’I do want to ask about what she meant... but it’ll be too rude for me to do so.’
He took a small sigh as he looked at Sara, who was walking to his right. "Can I ask you about something?"
She didn’t stop, nor did she look at him. Although she still answered him right away. "Sure, go ahead."
"Well, it’s not something important, but will you mind telling me about what you and the others are going to do tomorrow?"
His words were direct, and honesty was imbued beneath them. Just because of that, Sara let a snort pass her. "You wanted to know about that? Then why did you create such suspense, Ethan?" She asked.
