Chapter 320 – Yet another trouble… For crying out loud.
"But that doesn’t make sense." – said emperor.
"The Ku’juo kingdom may have ability to be the one behind everything."
"Their kingdom is known for magic as well as magic tools."
"But we don’t have any confirmation that this kingdom got involved."
"Remember, there a tons of people going there to learn, from different nations as well."
"Maybe somebody who was learning there is involved."
"There is also the question of these vampires."
"...True... This is also problematic question." – replied Korwan.
"There was way too many vampires involved in that attack and there is also the question regarding the rumors about the conspiracy spreading around at abnormal pace."
"Honestly speaking... There could be only those bastards as our main suspect."
"The Traditionalist faction."
"These suicidal vampires that refuses to adapt and are straight up willing to kill each other in order to make sure that their ’vampiric pride’ would not be stained?" – asked emperor Gustav.
"True... If it is them, then wouldn’t be surprised."
"But again, are they working alone or not?"
"Well... That is a problem." – replied Korwan.
"These bastards are beyond prideful."
"They are so prideful that they are self-destructive."
"If I were to guess, I think somebody maybe just using them as their own tools."
"But the problem is we don’t know who it is."
"The Ku’juo kingdom is our current most likely suspect, but we never really had any special interaction with them nor we had shown any hostility towards them."
"Maybe somebody who studied there once is working for the true main culprit?"
"There is also possibility that the suspect we think of maybe not related to the Ku’juo kingdom at all."
"Porai for example isn’t some ancient vampire nor she had received any special scholarship, and yet, you saw how powerful her inventions are."
"..."
"We lack too much information." – said the emperor.
"Agree. We can as much theories as we want, but we need some evidence which would point us the culprit."
"..."
"But I’m going to say this FUCKING straight instantly." – said the emperor.
"Secure area around the boarder with the Mevon territory."
"I’m not having this bullshit situation we had before."
"Especially now that the dungeon is producing us more golems... I mean... For fuck’s sake!"
"THNGS STARTED LOOKING GOOD! LIKE REALLY GOOD! SO WHY THE FUCK WE ARE HAVING ANOTHER BULLSHT SITUATION!?"
"Fucking fake terrorists first!"
"Then Warmur kingdom straight up attack us."
"AND NOW THIS?!"
"WHY THE FUCK PROBLEMS KEEP POPING UP LIKE THAT!?"
"...I honestly don’t know... I mean... I get that people don’t want a third empire to be born, but the methods they are using are stupid... Which only makes the entire thing confusing."
"Are we really that unlucky and we are truly forced to deal with these kind of idiots nonstop?"
"I mean, what the fuck?! The moment we are gone, the slaughter will happened!"
"..."
"Shit." – said the vampire as his face was suddenly filled with dread.
"...Oh god... What now?" – asked the emperor as he already looked with annoyed expression towards the vampire.
"What if... What if by any chance somebody is aiming for that?" – replied the vampire.
"For example, what if one of the empires to prevent a third empire from existing? These two empires are already head-to-head, but if a third powerful nation would appear... Then things would end up problematic for them."
"They are already putting pressure on each other by just existing, but if the third empire were to appear, which wasn’t bothered by having its boarders with two other empires, then they wouldn’t have any problem with pressure from the other two nations, allowing them to develop... And possible expand."
"...Great. Just fucking great!" – said emperor Gustav as he threw up his hands.
"FUCKING GREAT!"
"Not only we have a possibility that the Ku’juo kingdom could be involved, but there is also a possibility that one of the two and most powerful empires on this continent maybe after our asses, since they fucking fear us?!"
"Well... It is all the possibility?" – replied the vampire with a smile, trying reassure the emperor.
"..."
"But the fact that it is a possibility alone could fuck us in the ass." – replied the emperor with stone cold expression.
"....Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh...." – said the vampire as he admitted to the emperor being right.
"For fuck’s sake... Things couldn’t get any worse... Right?" – replied the emperor.
[Few days later – Mevon territory.]
{"There could be imposters amongst the people visiting the territory?"} – asked Thauma via the messenger golem as the trio of the empire messengers relayed the information about the vampire attack to the dungeon master.
"Yes. The enemy is organized and is trying to create a rift." – replied the mage named Wikan.
"Honestly, we worry they may end up targeting you and then blame the vampires of the empire as the culprit."
"The enemy apparently had managed to create their own camouflage devices that allow them to appear just like humans."
"In other words, please be extremely wary of any intruders that does not possess your beacon signal." – said the mage as he held onto the baton shaped device.
"..."
{"I understand the situation."} – replied the golem who talked bit more with the messengers before they left.
"..."
(Wow... Things are again getting complicated.) – thought Thauma who was now using the improved version of his work body model craft.
(I mean, I was warned of this possibility before, about the vampires who wants to preserve the tradition no matter, possible attacking the empire.) – thought the golem as it took off its headgear device.
(I’m kind of also worried about Ariava.) – thought Thauma as it walked out of its workshop and headed straight towards the bodies room.
(From what I’ve heard, there was sudden surge of demons appearing on the royal faction and noble faction side.)
(Apparently when they were about to lose, they sacrifices large number of their people in order to summon demons.) – thought Thauma as it remembers its first encounter with the hostile demons and being fully aware how dangerous they can be.
(This is bad.)
(Ariava was about to be done with Warmur kingdom... And now it is worst possible timing too.)
(...Is another war truly coming?) – thought Thauma as it walked out of the room it was just in... But the golem looked nothing like before.
(God dammit... Well, that doesn’t change the fact that I still have to work.
[Thauma body – Model: Mage]
The golem walked out of the room in the four-legged lower half, with a massive column-like torso that had two massive cylinder-shaped devices sticking out from its back.
The sides of the golem had 3 sets of same long reinforcement arms sticking out, while the front of the golem, right in the middle, the head of the dungeon master had a single head sticking out with 6 eyes.
Another thing that noticeable stood out was the fact that the front side of the golem, including its entire head was completely reinforced.
