Lu Yuan and his men drove twenty-one small vehicles, cutting a journey that would have originally taken more than half a day to just over two hours.
This was just the advance party; most of the Mansion Guards were still on their way on horseback.

Su Liyan said, "Lu Yuan, do you think something’s happened to him?"

Lu Yuan addressed his trusted followers and the Mansion Guards, "Go find some boats. Rent them, buy them, I don’t care. Just get them as fast as you can to prepare for the main force to land on the island!"

Lu Yuan drew the Celestial Master Sword and told his wife, "I’m going ahead. Honey, you wait here for the boats and then follow!"

Lu Yuan glanced at the water below and swallowed hard. To him, the deep sea was a place that could be hiding any number of terrifying creatures or Da Xingzi.
Maybe a massive whale, dozens of meters long, that could swallow him in a single gulp; or a mutated octopus with tentacles stretching more than ten meters...
Just thinking about it was enough to trigger his thalassophobia. His legs felt weak, but he had to brace himself and fly across this stretch of sea.

Her scarlet eyes, emitting a dark red glow, stared intently in the direction Lu Yuan had disappeared.
With a single leap, Su Liyan plunged into the sea, but instead of sinking, she floated on the surface.
Whipping her white-glowing snake tail, Su Liyan twisted and straightened her torso, chasing after Lu Yuan at an incredible speed and kicking up a large wake behind her.
Lu Yuan sensed a strange noise behind him and thought it was a shark, but a closer look revealed it was his wife, riding the waves toward him.
Su Liyan’s reddish eyes scanned everything in front of her like infrared beams.
’This is insane! She can even ride the waves. Damn!’ Lu Yuan couldn’t help but admire his wife’s abilities.
’Once she reverts to her ancestral form, she can do anything!’
Lu Yuan formed a few hand seals, and the Celestial Master Sword beneath his feet sped up a notch. He was trying to race Su Liyan.
Seeing the island draw closer, Lu Yuan couldn’t hide his excitement. Thankfully, he hadn’t encountered any obstacles on his journey across the sea.

This Thunder Bear let out a roar, and the others all began to swarm Gu Gaoxu.
Gu Gaoxu’s sword had just shattered into pieces, so he could only draw the Soft Whip from his waist to attack the Thunder Bears. He looked just like a Beast Tamer disciplining a disobedient bear.
Su Liyan said, "Lu Yuan, he can’t hold on much longer. Aren’t we going to go help him?"
A smile played on Lu Yuan’s lips as he secretly enjoyed the show. He waved his hand dismissively. "Let’s wait a bit longer. I want to see what other tricks this kid has up his sleeve."
Gu Gaoxu fought with the Thunder Bears for more than ten minutes and was nearing exhaustion. He roared, "Heavens! If nobody comes to save me, I’m a goner today! Brother Lu, oh, Uncle Lu, where are you?"
To the Thunder Bears, Gu Gaoxu’s furious roar was a provocation!
Several Thunder Bears snarled and pounced on Gu Gaoxu all at once.
Seeing this, Gu Gaoxu felt a wave of despair wash over him.
The soldiers on the high slope could no longer hold back and charged down, shouting, "General, look out!"

The Little Easterners on the island were also startled. Out at sea, on the deck of a ship, the Spirit Capturing Device in a Spirit Binder’s hands flashed red twice, indicating that the detained Xingzi had been annihilated.
The Spirit Binder’s mind went blank. The Da Xingzi he had worked so hard to raise was gone, just like that.
Gu Gaoxu stared at the Celestial Master Sword on the ground. It was all too familiar. ’Isn’t this the Celestial Master Sword that Brother Lu always uses?’
