"I'm sorry I shouted."

Maybe in her late twenties - the client woman, who named herself Laura, invited the three of us into the cabin while doing too much wrong to expose Poulat.

At Laura's feet a brown hairy shepherd dog was pinning her ears and staring at the three of them jizzily.

But when the three of them were invited into the cabin by Laura, the Lord, they walked round to the side of the enclosure, where the tyrosis and flames were rising.

Just, sometimes at dinner, Laura was cooking dinner.

It was stew with chicken meat and vegetables that were picked in the field.

The pan hung on the furnace is simmered gutsy and the scent of vanilla invites an appetite.

Surprised by Laura's scream at the encounter, Letty, who was hiding behind Winn as frightened, also had her gaze nailed to the pot.

"I'll have the watch at night anyway, and you want to eat with me? Dinner's not ready yet, is it?

"What? But is it okay? We're bringing proper food, aren't we?

"I won't hesitate. I've made too many, and my aunt can't eat them alone."

"Winn, let me sweeten your words."

Winn's stomach was also complaining of hunger.

It can't even be a battle between a hard bread in dried meat, which is a preserved food, and a stew full of chicken and vegetables.

Sitting near the furnace, Wynn and Letty ask him to lean against a small wooden vessel and start eating with a wooden spoon.

"Be careful, it's hot"

"Yeah!"

Phew, breathe, and when you eat a hot stew, it warms from your stomach.

"Ugh... hot"

"Letty, wait a minute. Let's not eat after it's cold."

Often, Winn and Letty focus on eating in silence.

"No, I'm sorry I even had a meal"

"It's okay, we had a kid about the same age. We had kids growing up, so we'd stick around too much."

Poulat shrugged the stew as he saw Laura's face laughing as she approached Winn's empty vessel for a stew replacement.

The chicken is gobbly and delicious.

I guess wine or beer would be great.

"I'm glad it's in your very pretty little lady's mouth. The clothes you're wearing are good, and I thought they might be on your mouth."

"No, it's delicious."

It is an extraordinary treat compared to the potage that I always eat, where I added bread powder and increased the song.

(Regardless of Winn, surprisingly, Letty's eating well, too)

If it's good, it's this young lady, but if it's a common man's meal, it's like eating hard, regardless.

"You shouldn't pack too much in your mouth,"

Winn looked around the cabin, noting Letty trying to stuff it all over his mouth.

The only inhabitants other than Laura can see are shepherd dogs that are stuck on chunks of meat she gave them.

"Speaking of which, are you one of your aunts here?

Laura silenced for a moment on Winn's inquiry, laying her eyes down.

"When my husband and kids were alive, we lived here as a family... and now we live in the Imperial Capital."

Laura's house was inside the city of Simlug, and her family was just Laura's parents and three, meaning she lost her pawn owner and child to illness last year.

"My parents and I are taking turns staying in this cabin to protect the fields and livestock my husband left behind."

You remember the deceased pavilion owner and the child, he has a smug look on his face somewhere.

Gohon, Poulat coughed up one to change the air on the field.

"Yeah, so, how much damage is there?

"A few chickens, eggs, vegetables, etc."

"Are there no damage to cattle or sheep?

"That's the whole thing."

"I see."

(Then it doesn't look like it was the work of a wolf or a warcraft. I feel this is likely the work of a weasel or fox, but is there any chance of demons)

"Didn't you make any noises or beast voices?

Winn also stopped his eating hand and asked Laura.

"Nothing in particular - ah!

Laura, who was roaring ununung at the two questions, opened her eyes wide.

"Speaking of which, at some point, there are mushrooms and vanilla in front of the chicken coop."

"" Yes!?

Unexpectedly, Poulat and Wynn looked at each other.

"Is that the night of the damage?

"Yeah, it's really occasional. They often put chickens and eggs when they were stolen."

"Actually, I also use the vanilla and mushrooms that were left behind for today's stew," Laura says with a slight face somewhere.

In contrast to that Laura, Poulat thinks.

(Is that human work?

When things are placed, they are neither beasts nor demons.

But it is certainly the work of those who possess wisdom.

"Does anyone live around here and know we adventurers are visiting today?

"I thought you only knew about our parents."

(If the neighbors or the favelas were the killers, you better not find out I'm here)

"Wynn. When you're done eating, can you do a little research around the birdhouse?

"Okay."

"Yeah!? Letty's coming with your brother."

Eating to stir the stew that was left in the vessel, Winn rises up in momentum.

Seeing that, Letty also tried to get up again...

"Letty, if you don't eat properly, you'll be rude to Laura."

Winn cautions.

"But..."

"In the meantime, Letty's leaving a message here"

Whatever Winn is, in case a ghetto person is the culprit...

Compare Letty, who inflates her cheeks and shows her willingness to dissatisfy, with Wynn, who is preaching that girlfriend.

Letty, who only looks like a rich lady this way, wearing such fine clothes, will surely be the object of a crowd.

(Just in case you get caught here... you're gonna tie me up)

"Even though Letty is an adventurer!

"Speaking of which, this kid's an adventurer, too."

After Winn left the cabin, he heard Letty leaning over and whining in a crying voice, making a sound like Laura was impressed somewhere.

"Yep. It's a chick, but I'm pretty sure my arm will stand enough to look like this to get rid of the beast"

(As a matter of fact, these kids' sword meetings suck with bees.)

It's not like a kid calling himself a knight and playing with a tree stick in a meeting.

The meeting with the wooden sword leaves me breathless, even adults, even if I just punch in a few times.

But these children continue to meet their swords at high speeds as if they were dancing swords together watching from the side, switching their standing places with a circle.

Neither is the Adventurer's Guild doing its job for no reason.

"If that dead kid lives too, you're just the same age as Letty..."

To Laura's potpourring and leaking whine, Poulat turned to Letty,

"Letty?"

"What's going on?

The two noticed Letty's anomaly.

The sun also set while we were eating dinner, and the surroundings were darkened.

When Wynn borrows a piece of burning firewood from the enclosure, he uses it instead of pine lights to walk around the chicken shed.

I approached him with the light, so the chickens at the chicken hut, who were round and sleeping, were waking up and gossiping.

(Hmm, nothing)

I'll be looking around the ground for a while but I can't find anything that's going to be a clue.

(The fields are softer on the ground, and there may be footprints...)

Take a crushing look around the area of the field where the crop is planted.

"There it is!

There were several footprints on the acres that were elongated and soiled.

There were multiple footprints, but this probably belonged to Laura or her parents.

There was a small footprint mixed up in that footprint that obviously seemed to belong to the child.

Laura's child said she died two years ago. When it did, it was likely the killer's.

Following in the footsteps, it still led to a meadow that was spreading outside the field, not in the direction of one of the huts.

Beyond that direction, the river flows.

The city of Simurgh has a great river running from the northeast to the southwest, one of the tributaries flowing into that great river.

On the river you can see a forest as dark as the sun went down and anointed it with ink, thick and busy.

(You can't go alone, can you?)

Outside the field, Winn rushed back to the cabin just to make sure his footprints were heading towards the river.

"Mr. Poulat!

Open the cabin door as much as you want and jump inside.

As soon as I got there, two people, Poulat and Laura, said, "" Shh! "" he gestured to be quiet.

When I saw it, Letty was making her little body look yummy in the corner of the cabin.

Wynn walks over to Poulat and talks, lurking his voice so as not to make a noise when he snorts.

"Letty, did you fall asleep?

"Oh, I was up until just now. Or is it always like that?

"What's wrong?

Somewhere, Winn heard in response to a strange feeling about Poulat's attitude.

"No, something's not right after you left."

After Wynn left, Letty said he became faceless as if his emotions had fallen out.

- Like a doll.

When you go to the corner of the room and sit down, Poulat or Laura will not reply to you no matter how much you talk to them.

When the two of them were confused, Letty rowed the boat with depression as the sleeper eventually attacked because of the fullness caused by eating the meal.

I hear Winn's back there.

"Me and Laura were surprised. What kind of house is Letty's?

"Um, I've never been like that when I'm with you, and I don't know about the house"

"Hmmm... I feel like this lady when it's good, but I don't have to go home at this hour to make a scene. You haven't been treated very well at home..."

(Maybe he's a concubine child...)

"I found a stranger footprint than that. Outside the field, opposite the cabin."

"Here we go, Wynn."

"What do we do with Letty?

"I have to keep an eye on you tonight, I'll put you to bed while I'm at it"

Poulat turns to Laura.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Still, I wonder what happened to this kid. It looked like I was scared of something..."

Soon, Letty was round on the floor.

Next to that Letty, the sheepdog is also round.

Laura brought me a blanket for Letty, who had fallen asleep in earnest.

When Winn receives the blanket from Laura, he gently calls Letty.

I did a little of Letty's soft golden hair that got messed up when I got round on the floor.

"Winn, are you gone, Letty, and you're getting thin? Winn, you have to protect him properly."

Winn nodded loudly at Laura's words, rushing to Poulat, who waited at the entrance to the cabin.
