Me, Hydra

I, Hydra, Chapter 36.

Nodding, Leonidas spoke.

"Being able to clearly understand the difference between the enemy and me proves that your mind is still capable, but then again, you can poison it if you can't beat it!"

"Poisoning?"

There was some confusion in Quintus' voice, and at the sight of it, Leonidas didn't try to hide it.

"Don't underestimate the venom, as far as I know, Lord Hydra's venom can easily poison most of the gods. Even the Twelve Olympian Lord Gods, including Zeus, would have a hard time escaping death if they were bitten by Lord Hydra's venomous teeth themselves. Besides, didn't Lord Hydra also say that? History books are written by victors, and efficient killing of the enemy is what we should be looking for, right?"

At the words, Quintus shook his head after a moment's silence.

"No..."

"Why?"

Leonidas had a bit of frustration in his voice.

Quintus, on the other hand, spoke with conviction.

"I'll make that bunch at Olympus tremble unnaturally at the sound of my name! Relying on sideshows may hasten my vengeance, but I'm going to break Zeus head-on, righteously! Break Olympus! I will make everything painful for them...my revenge has just begun! I will double all my mother's sufferings to those wretched gods who bring misfortune to the earth!"

As he said that, Quintus clenched his fists, the memories of his childhood had always been in his head, and although he was still an infant at that time, the divinity in his body had faithfully recorded everything for Quintus in the beginning.

Quintus could feel his mother's despair when she was abused by Zeus, could feel the rejection as well as the rejection of those nymph nymphs when they learned of her pregnancy, could feel his mother kneeling before Hera and praying for Hera's forgiveness, praying that Hera would see fit to spare her if she was still a baby.

"But they didn't...those vicious curses of Hera, the wanton ridicule of the Nymph Fairies, the indiscriminate abandonment of Artemis...I didn't have to take any other path, I had to break it from the front, and then my mother was The torment, ridicule and wretchedness they have suffered is returned to them righteously!"

Hearing Quintus' words, Leonidas let out a long sigh.

"You bastard...what can I say about you..."

As he said that, Leonidas shook his head helplessly. That said, Leonidas was not dissuaded in the slightest.

Imagine a woman being raped and pregnant for no apparent reason. Her friends didn't hesitate to abandon him in the wilderness when he was at his weakest and most in need of comfort. What's more, the wife of the man who raped her comes to her door and asks the victim what she did to him.

Pregnant for ten months, knowing full well that she had given birth to an unholy child and still raised it with great pains....

"Mother's revenge is mine to avenge, and mine alone!"

As he spoke, Quintus clenched his fists.

This anger caused Quintus to not even care about the pain of his nails setting into his flesh. The blood dripped silently onto the cobblestones as if it were a catharsis or an oath.

Sitting wordlessly beside Quintus, Leonidas suddenly heard some small noise.

"Who is it?!"

Turning her head, Atalanta stepped out of the shadows with a gloomy face.

"Your mother's name...is Callisto...right...?"

Volume I: Text-48 - Opening Eight Mop-Up Bottles

"Are you..."

Looking at Atalanta in front of him, Quintus looked hesitant, for he had never seen the woman before, and there was no hatred, but the woman had mentioned her mother....

"I was once an abandoned baby, and when I was abandoned in the wilderness I was saved by a Nymph fairy who followed this Artemis... She raised me with animal milk, and she taught me how to hunt, how to cook, and how to survive in the wilderness. Then again when I was about six years old, she left me...never to be seen again, not even when Artemis patrolled the night sky..."

As she said that, Atalanta took out an exquisite bow from the arrow bag behind her, it still had some divine breath on it, although because of the passage of time, this divinity still became somewhat faint, but this was undoubtedly divinity, and it was also relying on the divinity on the bow that Atalanta had several times escaped death in the mouth of a fierce beast.......

"This is... Mother's bow and arrow..."

As he said that, Quintus looked suspiciously at Atalanta in front of him.

"This is indeed my mother's bow...speaking of which my mother did say something about abandoned babies...do you remember where it was picked up?"

"The Arcadian Mountains, the valley east of the kingdom of Athos. The man, wanting a son, abandoned me in the wilderness without hesitation when he saw that I was a girl... Which Nimph fairy named Callisto nursed me..."

At the news, Quintus looked up after a moment of silence.

"If that's the case... Mother did say something about adopting an adopted daughter, but I'm not sure if you're either girl or not... Can you come to my house? If it is, I'm sure Mother-sama will be very pleased."

"Of course, begone!"

As she spoke, Atalanta gripped her bow and arrow.

I had read in the Great Library of Sparta about Zeus raping a Nymph Nymph next to Artemis, and it was the description of which Nymph Nymph Nymph had been raped that had awakened Atalanta.

And that book clearly had a seal on it, and as she entered the Great Library, which of the librarians guarding it seemed to say, "Zeus's evil deeds are in the basement, three rows and two rows."

According to the information Atalanta knew, the basement floors of the library were off-limits, as they sealed the forbidden knowledge.

Although she knew that she was being set up, Atalanta wanted to find out the truth about this favor no matter what.

"I'm sorry, Hercules, but you may have to travel alone for the rest of the journey..."

"Well? What's going on?"

Hearing Atalanta's whisper, Quintus scratched his head. Indicating that he hadn't heard it.

Shaking her head, Atalanta spoke seriously.

"It's nothing, let's depart...I'm tired of delaying this decades late favor..."

Upon hearing that, Quintus shrugged his shoulders, then said to Leonidas on the other side, "Please go back and take a leave of absence for me, for reasons that are just like one yourself~"

Shaking his head helplessly, Leonidas looked helpless.

"You're a guy...just, I hope this makes auntie happy."

"Well,"

On the other hand, back in the Great Shrine, nodded in satisfaction after watching Atalanta's conversation with Quintus through the Gehenna.

Yes, the words spoken by Socrates were exactly what Hydra had authorized, and the underground floor of the library was opened by Hydra specifically for Atalanta.

Atalanta's potential as the first person to injure a boar in the Caledonian boar hunt was undoubtedly great. It wouldn't be long before the group of Amazons would be merging into Sparta as well, and while the Amazon warrior women were not considered elite in their battle sense, their martial skills were simplified versions of Ares' martial skills, so-called simplified versions that spoke of the removal of divinity from martial skills, becoming battle skills that could be performed without divinity.

The next generation of Sparta is thriving, the bronze cannon, mortar cannon development failure although Hydra quite upset, but the good thing is that the stone thrower, a simple siege using the principle of leverage, defensive equipment can still use. Sort of made up for some of the deficiencies of the Spartan army in terms of attacking or defending the city.

"The development of the city has reached a bottleneck, the next step is to raise the overall combat level of the people... but then again. It doesn't seem to be that difficult to raise the combat level of the Spartan civilians...do we have to take that guy from Karon?"
